I ran it straight for about 20 to 30 minutes and that melted the 2nd stage piston rings and no longer could get past 3000 psi just like that. I contacted VEVOR via online only and followed instructions and answered all questions, within a few weeks VEVOR sent me out 2 new sets of 2nd stage piston rings free of charge. Hi Gregor it is better to connect the pressure side of the waterpump/-hose at the top to get the best result for cooling and the retour on the bottem back to the tub. The high pressure cilinder generates the most heat so it needs the most cooling. I use a Tuxing 300 bar two cilinder for 5 years now and it still works fine. It has the same system for cooling and the pressure water hose is first connected to the high pressure cilinder and then to the low pressure cilinder and then back to the tub. I also recommend to install a better pump. The quantity, liter/hour, of the waterpump you get with the compressor is good but the waterpressure is very low so when the hose is a bit flat it loses it's capacity in l/h. For the oil in the compressor you can use regular motoroil for petrol engines 5 W 40 and change it once a year or when it's getting a dark colour. The Tuxing I have fills a 12 liter bottle from 200- to 310 bar in about 20minutes. I must say I keep good maitenance on my compressor and change every half year the 4 pistonrings in the high pressure cilinder. it doesn't look much different from Tuxing and Yonghang by design same oil block same head block even the cooling pipes are the same. And all of them suffer when you try fill 6L or 10 L large bottles they work for 3-4 fills and then magically stop filling and stay at 200bar or 250 bar and doesn't want to continue further to 300 bar even when there is no leak first time fixed my tuxing with new piston rings and new head gasket and new large piston rings it worked for another 5 fills and then completely fail with no leaks it just stops at 270 bar in the compressor and no air going inside the bottle. So in my opinion only large compressors would do the job filling your air tanks reliably like Hill EC 300 evo however is rated only up to 7L bottles or the double piston/cylinder tuxing compressors they are rated up to 6.8L however terrible customer service with tuxing. And no other options are left to choose from apart from super expensive Daystate large quite compressor which is something like 3500$-4000$ for 1 compressor. Don't know how is possible no European company to not tried making 300 bar affordable compressors
Yeah, as I mentioned in the video, this compressor is meant to be used for filling PCP rifles directly and not bottles. It is even written in the manual that you should not fill bottles bigger than 3 litres. For filling bottles, I use Coltri compressor (that is the same compressor that Daystate also sale under their brand name and jack up the price :)). There is a reason why those compressors are so expensive. The one way I see the price might come down is if more people starts buying them and there is more competition, but you cannot compare the sales of those with workshop compressors nor can you compare the construction, materials,... that go into them.
garbage, bought one from amazon, power unit was busted kept blowing fuses. got a new one. auto shut off didnt work first try. never goes over 250 bar. dies not have the power
It sounds like you have a different compressor, this one does not have auto shut off...
yea its not that model its the smaller one with out water cooling and 12v /240v, could fed up with chinese junk and now im running a hill compresor and its night and days better.@@gregorkamensek3923
Just junk, buy something better.
Why ??4000 euro is better?
