@AAROnair WOW Hi andy Just wanted to say me and all my mates have our guns and love the sport thanks to you. We use you as the deciding factor in any conversation on buying a new gun. One mate and i even get disappointed when you dont say " on the business end " Take care mate and keep up the good work.
good morning Andy , nice bit of kit ... but it has a limited market ! from do i need it etc And the high price limits it`s appeal ! it`s big to handle and heavy ... Thank you for your hard work ... Cheers Si
$1900 for a bit of kit of that quality is a bargain..... My air rifle is a springer (no licencing for those here in NZ)... although I do have the necessary licences for a PCP or a handgun for that matter. PCPs are pricey, but I can see one in my future if I live that long, not that I would need such a compressor as that one probably... but then again if I spent $2500 on a PCP rifle, it's not such a huge amount. Great review as always Andy.... 🙂
I have the Hill EC3000 . I wish it had a couple presets buttons on the control screen that could be programmed for specific guns. I like the compressor but it is a bit annoying having to spin the dial every time to set pressure. It would be nice if there were a few buttons that you program on the interface. Perhaps 2-3 buttons that you could set at different pressures. My Steyr Evo10e set to 200 bar, the red wolf at 250 bar etc .
Great video's. What about the budget compressors on ebay for for around £200. I'd like to buy a rifle but want to spend as little as possible. Which rifle should I buy. A bsa r12 clx pro or a daystate wolverine r ? Best wishes Dean 🇬🇧
You guys should look into the OMEGA AIR CHARGER it's about 1600 with tax and everything but it will fill any size carbon fiber tank with ease and it is one of the compressers that Matt Dubber and SOUTHERN GUNNER has and reviewed many times year after year with no problams at all.
I expected this to be dearer. Something definitely worth having in the workshop and having the factory down the road gives some condlfidence. Their production processes look a bit old school/low volume though. More Morgan than Audi. Which is 👍
Great video and very informative, don't worry though we will all soon be living in the same houses and driving the same cars as soon as the governments have their way!!!! Stay well and have a great weekend.
It cost £10 a year to test a tank, and it gets tested every 5 years, £10 a year or destroy your house , you and your family. It's a no brainer. ALWAYS ALWAYS USE A TESTED DIVE BOTTLE.
I have noticed more and more UK made shooting items have vanished from the dealers'shelves here. They can't really complete any longer with post Brexit prices compared to, for example, Germany or CZ. It's a pity
There are no "Brexit fees". Products made in the U.K. do not attract duties when imported into the EU. They are also sold vat free - you just pay the local vat in your country. Same goes for products manufactured in the EU and imported into the U.K.
@@UnCoolDad Last time I imported gun parts from the UK I got a 6% import fee, a terminal fee for "forgin market" at €8 and upon this our national VAT. The UK VAT was however first deducted.
@@Airpang100 where was the part manufactured? If not the U.K., then import duties are due. The seller has to go through the process of declaring where the item was manufactured though. It is possible this does not happen for small mail order companies - but for wholesale imports or larger sellers who are keen to sell abroad, it most certainly does. If you are interested in a Hills product in the EU, you are probably better served by a local distributor.
@@UnCoolDad The EC-3000 compressor actually have a Swedish importer, but I'm not sure if anyone is sold, it's priced at €1495 here in comparison to a 12 liter dives bottle w/fillkit @ €395 brand new. Such bottles have 10 years hydro here and a fill will set anyone back €10.
Sorry Andy, but those keyboard warriors are more right than you think. The electronic components and the pcb material they are mounted on will certainly not be UK made, for example.
I even checked that out…. and unless you are trying to find a single chip just to say it’s made in another country, then you’re a tough audience. stay safe
Hi, Like I said in the program, it isn’t for everyone, however, your maths don’t actually add up fully, you missed out the initial cost of your tank (circa £300?) the cost of fuel to and from the shop, possible parking fees, the time involved and the reason I bought one in the first place….convenience (priceless to me). But I understand your point, just as we don’t all need a high end PCP’s when a £50 springer will fire a pellet down range, But I’ll stick to my Engineered PCP’s…thanks again for your comment, stay safe. Andy
A 3 minute drive to the dive shop in the local swimming pool…. My 300 Bar tank is filled from 180 to 300 bar for only €2,50. Clean air and professionally handled for this money is something I can not justify any purchase of a compressor for.
sounds handy that you live about 1km from a fill source, sadly not everyone does, I would say this isn’t for you, maybe it’s more for the rest of us who live a long way from a fill source. stay safe, thank you for your comment.

Just wanted to say me and all my mates have our guns and love the sport thanks to you. We use you as the deciding factor in any conversation on buying a new gun. One mate and i even get disappointed when you dont say " on the business end " Take care mate and keep up the good work.
This looks very intresting
Great review Andy but if I bought one I'd want it to top-up a 7 litre dive bottle from 200 bar to 300 bar. Any idea how long that would take?
I Like it very good 👍🏻
Ihave one and its great!
Or get the training to be able to check ✔️ and fill divers tanks yourself
good morning Andy , nice bit of kit ... but it has a limited market ! from do i need it etc And the high price limits it`s appeal ! it`s big to handle and heavy ...
Morning all, you can tell the economy is bad when even Andy is talking about inflation😋
ouch that hurt lol morning
October is going to be a son of a bitch..
@@johnnydough1870 why is this ??
Boom tsssh!
@@johnnydough1870 i hope so !
Which is 👍
£130, for the dry pack, rip off, they know people buying this want dry air
I’ve had mine 2 years zero problems best thing I’ve ever owned for air gunning sadly you can’t please everyone
Great video and very informative, don't worry though we will all soon be living in the same houses and driving the same cars as soon as the governments have their way!!!! Stay well and have a great weekend.
It cost £10 a year to test a tank, and it gets tested every 5 years,
£10 a year or destroy your house , you and your family.
It's a no brainer.
ALWAYS ALWAYS USE A TESTED DIVE BOTTLE.
morning!
I wish id seen this before i bought my chinese piece of crap. :(
❤️🇬🇧✌🏼🤩👍🏼
Happy Friday Andy Acolytes!
Weather in Dublin is a bit better than last week...but still not stellar.
Greetings , weather good today in Yorkshire ... Sunny morning . Did you like the pump ? one for the rich boy`s lol
@simonnoble7589 ...it's one of those..."if you need to ask the price" items
Really nice unit but unfortunately it is British made. Too expensive after you pay Brexit fees. Probably one of the best if you are from the UK.
Seems kind of..... loud lol
Sorry Andy, but those keyboard warriors are more right than you think. The electronic components and the pcb material they are mounted on will certainly not be UK made, for example.
I even checked that out…. and unless you are trying to find a single chip just to say it’s made in another country, then you’re a tough audience. stay safe
Some electronic components are only made in one country in the world - such as Taiwan. You are being a bit pedantic.
They are a ENGLISH company, the same as BSA,not British
£950-1000 🤨🤡
that’s around 40% of the cost of my first one and that lasted 2 hours… stay safe.
Doesn't make economic sense to me. £5 a fill at shop. Therefore 20 fill = £100. 200 fills per £1000 sorry Andy rich mans machine
Andy

Mostly made and assemdled in the uk 👍 .... Motor is made in china and i would hazard a guess some other parts .
What an ugly looking air rifle.
