You're a life saver!!! My pt cruiser wasn't turning over out of no where. It worked fine the other day, but there were some signs of it not turning over but I always pushed the gas pedal a little bit to turn it over. I had my father change it for me and my car works wonders now. Thank you so much!!!!

I am also curious why you had to change it in the first place? I have one I just replaced a fuel pump on and it seems like it fires once in a rotation. I replace plugs awhile ago because last owner had bent and shorted the electrode. Seems like it's firing out of order or the distributor is bad. Pretty sure it was wired right a year ago when I got it, but over that time learned the fuel pump was bad.

The vacuum on the Throttle body that I believe is a purge vacuum or something that connects to the ERG. That hose broke on my 2010 PT cruiser 2.4 and having trouble finding a replacement. How or where can I find another?
hi i was wondering if the ignition coil has to have oil on thee that had the switch on because when i removed the on of my car it had some kind of oil thank you
Why are you disconnecting all that nonsense when you DON'T HAVE TO? Remove the 5 bolts on the manifold. Use a bungee cord hooking one end on your hood latch loop and the other on the manifold to keep it up and out of the way then replace your part. There is NO NEED to make thing's more difficult then they have to be. The more you take off for NO REASON the greater likelihood of causing more issue's like....vacume leaks or brake pressure failure lol. Just sayin but hey your car do it your way of course.

Ignition coil is always usually the culprit of rough idle/start.

Great job guys I think I will try it.
What made you decide to change this. What was the problem with the car.

Can the ignition coil throw an cylinder 3 misfire code ? Already changed spark plug , wire and fuel injector ? Anyone ?
was this vehicle having spark issues like its not getting a proper spark thus firing bad and won't start the engine?
I don’t understand my 01 PT has a pipe from the EGR that goes into the back of the intake. Doesn’t this one have that?

i don't think it should have oil on it. it's an electrical component which sends a spark to a spark plug.
Please tell me this coil possible riper ?
