Honestly, I like that despite being villains, Scarlet and Herb both have a solid relationship. Most villains are seen as ruthless and cruel to anyone who follows them, so it’s always interesting to me every time I see villains who have someone they genuinely care about.
its awesome. I'm pretty sure one way thats used to redeem a villain in fiction is giving them a kid to take care of. I had this idea for a story where the villain and the hero both have a child. but while the villain always tells their kid not to be a villain and to be anything else they want, the hero is always telling their kid to be a hero and not to be anything else they want. leading to the villains kid becoming the hero and the hero's kid to becoming the villain.
