This part of Emily is sadder because in the movie when victor is about to drink the poison. Emily sees victoria and she realizes that she can't make victor be hers because She would be stealing victoria's happiness. And she thinks it's too late for her to be a bride so she gives Victor back to Victoria. But in this story Victor was gonna drink the poison and be with emily like he promised. And she was waiting for him to and she wasn't playing on stopping him. But when he saw a victoria sneaking around the corner he dropped the poison and left to be with her. Emily has ever reason to be mad I mean Victor promised to marry Emily and he just left her. Even in the movie even if he tried keeping his promise Emily didn't get the Happily ever after she deserved. (🤓)
Who were her best friends? The song doesn't mention anything about her having friends, but we do know her life was taken away from her by a creep, and Victor, another guy she met, had cheated on her.
I love the fact that Emily doesn't eat her killer's heart but throws it away like trash while with Victor she eats it, maybe a representation or metaphor that she wanted his heart and she got it but she literally managed to get it.

You know the whole film of Corpse Bride could have been avoided if Victor just explained he was rehearsing his wedding vows because he was getting married to another girl and he for Emily's finger was a tree branch the whole film could have been avoided if he just communicated
He was very confused and scared. Anyone would be if had been kidnapped by a corpse and taken to the world of the dead. Maybe he didn't believe it was possible to reason with a corpse, especially one that was acting insane the entire time.
@@bellaswanjones671 a dead woman just rose from the grave, dragged him to the underworld, had a song sung about how she died, said THEY were married and refused to let him leave. And she gave him his dead dog as a gift, which is kinda sweet but also a bit creepy. I don’t think she would’ve taken “hey this was an accident, I already have a fiancé I didn’t mean to propose to you” very well.
This made me remember a story that was the main idea for the movie version of corpse bride it’s basically the same until the ring scene because the original victor was a bit drunk and jokingly put his ring on a what he thought was a tree branch and said his vows after his buddies dared him to before Emile came out of the ground and said she did and tired to kiss him at which long book victor ran to ask the pastor for protection only for Emily to appear behind him and a say that Vitor said the vows and by rule she was owed one night of bliss and after talking about it the priest said there were serval rules that made the proposal invalid with the main one being Victor was joking at which point Emily let out a loud screeching like a banshee and vanished.
Oh "corpse bride" my most favorite movie 😍. I feel so sorry for Emily. She's so sweet and gorgeous, she doesn't deserve such a fate, but I respect her decision to give Victor to Victoria at the end of the movie 😢
One of the things make the saddest thing about Emily thought she was so in love with that mother f he literally betrayed her on Emily's FUCKNIG wedding day just to steal her wealth # FUCK Man 🖕
You know Emily has every right to become a villain, and eats her Ex's hearts out. And kinda makes more sense she's zombie being but that she is desperate for love, but instead she wants their hearts instead of a brain. But could we all agreed that we would kill ourselves just to marry Emily so she can finally love and happiness? Because I definitely would.
I feel like this is another view of the history, where the trauma emily suffered made her see victor as the same as his old fiancee, so its all kinda in her traumatized and sad view.
While I'm all for VictorxEmily, this could've been avoided had Victor explained to Emily that he was already in an arranged marriage. Glad Barkis got his comeuppance at least.
it's an alternate universe where Emily never saw Victoria, Victor did. So Emily wasn't going to stop Victor from drinking the poison, and Victor instead decided not to drink it so he could be with Victoria instead
OHHH THIS IS SO GOOD✨️🔥‼️ I loved the way you made this Emily's version of life more sad and heartbreaking. The way in the end she genuinely thought that someone like Victor was willing to marry her only to back out was the final straw and she became vengeful of the two men who ruined her in life and death.
Wow. I love the lyrics & animation for this! I especially love that she showed Emily as a normal human bride at the beginning to emphasize how drastically she changed into a zombie monster at the end. Very cool reimagined alternate universe ending for Corpse bride!
I WAS FREAKING RIGHT ABOUT MY THEORY ON HER BECOMING CORRUPTED BY JEALOUSLY!!!!! Edit: I wasn’t actually expecting that I would end up predicting the plot
I don't think she was jealous because first of all he married her, then killed her. How do you say you want to marry someone and then kill them? Victor was also caught kissing another woman but wanted to marry someone else, like what?? So it's not that she's jealous, but it's not okay for any man to do that to someone.
That was my theory too! And not just jealousy, but pain and hatred towards Barkis. But I thought that she would somehow calm down in her desire for revenge. Not to become a freaking cannibal.
Oh dear, mercy me! Seeing Emily become a monstrous being bent on revenge by eating black hearts, it's truly horrifying and heart wrenching! This song makes the Corpse Bride movie hit much deeper. This ending is so much scarier and more terrifying than the ending from the movie. Grief, jealousy, anger, hatred, these emotions can warp even the purest and innocent beings into something dark, twisted, and villainous. In a word... *evil.* Super outstanding and scary awesome revenge song! 😱😱😱😱🎃🎃🦇🦇👻👻
I’m always feel bad for Victorian women because they’ve been treated a lot worse and now I’m terrified if one of them try to eat my heart if I break their hearts
Did she really think a relationship between them would work? One was a bastard who only wanted her money, and the other guy was pressured to do the vow when he actually had someone who was alive that loved him. I do like the imagery and such but I don’t feel bad for the corpse bride since she should’ve listened the first time.
@@davidvaldezjr5546 True that but surely she should’ve known that the other one wouldn’t be with her forever since he had someone he loved and vice versa.
In fairness, Victor was only marrying Victoria because his parents wanted her money, which she didn't have and vise versa. Them falling in love came after the fact.
Your version of Emily when she was alive leading to her death just makes me want to jump into the screen and help her tear Barkis’s corpse apart. I’d help her bury the double dead body.
@@MaxwellMurray-l5z I read that somewhere but I can’t remember where. But when Barcus stole the family Jewels from Emily it was everything the Everglott family had.
I really loved this version of Emily, since in Tim Burton's movie, Emily is the one who sees Victoria, and realizes that she steals someone else's dreams, like her dreams were stolen when she was alive, but in This version, Emily does not see to Victoria, therefore she does not understand her, understanding/believing that in life and death they deceived her heart and manipulated her, believing that Lord Barquis or whatever his name is, is equal to Victor and Victor is equal to him, only instead of killing her like Barquis did, here I manipulate her so that Victor returns with victoria and returns to the world of the living, and the part that Emily eats the hearts believing that maybe this way her heart would be filled, how broken he was.
Emily’s father: Emily, This man is a stranger, you can’t marry him. I’m doing this because I love you. Victoria’s Father, You have a face of an otter and disgrace to the Everglot’s name. You will Marry Lord Barkis because he has a lot of money.
The reason behind Emily's dad wasn't that he was a stranger, back then it did not matter, only the rank and wealth were the reasons a couple got married, at least among aristocrats and high society people. Emily's dad saw through Barkis, he knew what he wanted all along, Emily was a naive young lady, who didn't believe it so she went behind her parents' back.
@@mightymoon02i bet whem Emily died, her father was devastated. But Finis doesn’t give a damn about his daugther his only concern will be that without his daughter marrying a rich man, he and his partner will be force to live in the streets and blames it on Victoria. Even when Barkis and Victoria got married, he is still unhappy. Nothing pleases the The Everglot except Lord Barkis, they think they are better than everyone.
One detail I noticed with this animatic, is that Barkis actually stepped on the spider and the worm/maggot which feels like those were the ones that helped Emily in the movie and were her support. Without them, she falls more into despair.
This was honestly one of the creepiest interpretations of Corpse Bride I've seen, especially as I didn't expect that ending... but DAMN this was a great song! 👰♀ 🧟♀️
Love the song but the fact that in the movie she doesn’t get betrayed by Victor in the end but instead realizes she’s taking away something from someone that was taken from her and then comes to peace with it all takes me out of the song it really is a good song very catchy
Emily would've actually got married if she ignored Victoria in the movie. Because Victoria actually just stayed silent and watched them, letting Emily have her moment. But, Emily was to kind-hearted to do that and let Victoria take the moment. Emily got girl power.
ID LOVE IT IF YOU DID ONE ONE VARIAN ON HOW HE WAS SUCH A OUTCAST IN THE BEGINNING TIL HE BECAME EVIL!?😂❤❤❤PLLLLEEEEEAAAAASE DO VARIAN OF TANGLED THE SERIES!?
I really liked this movie. And I'm happy to see more art made about it. And hearing this song made me think of the number of scenarios in which everything could go wrong. Especially in the clip when she saw him with the girl he was going to marry, when she said I can't believe you were tricked into seeing another girl and he replied don't you understand you are the other girl
OK, but aren't, like, Barkis and Victor going to come back as zombies? Also! Personally, I had a theory that bad people who come to the World of the Dead are eaten by zombies (for example, in the scene where Mrs. Plum takes out the fork from behind the half-closed door in the scene when Barkis is led into that room and the scream is heard). This really supports that theory. And for Victor, hell, he didn't deserve that at the end of the video (he just didn't feel partner love for her, but he loved her as a friend). I'm not saying Barkis didn't deserve it. 100% it is deserved.
Great song and animatic, with it definitely being a very tragic story as we see Emily lose her humanity throughout. Also, I honestly can't wait till we get more original Hazbin songs, especially more Adam songs, maybe something like the villain origin songs you've been doing, with it painting this version of Adam in a more sympathetic light as we see his origin I have this personal head canon about his origins (in a story format like the beginning of Episode 1 explaining the "Story of Hell") that I personally think makes sense, although feel free to disagree. Once upon a time, there existed a glorious place on earth known as Eden, an attempt to expand the universe by beings of pure light known as Angels. In Eden, they created Adam and Lilith, equals as the first of Mankind, created without the ability to act on their own. However, one day, Lilith would come across a tree, one unlike the others that would bear special fruit. It was upon consuming one that Lilith would acquire the ability of free will, the ability to carve her own destiny. Lilith attempted to share this gift with Adam, but he would refuse and instead attempt to reestablish order, unknowingly driving her away. Left alone, Adam would be provided a new wife in the form of Eve. Together, the two would live in peace until Eve herself consumed the fruit of knowledge, having been offered to her by Lilith and an angel by the angel Lucifer, before getting Adam to consume a piece of it as well. However, through this one act of disobedience, evil finally found its way into Earth. With it, a new realm of darkness and sin. And the order Heaven worked to maintain was shattered. As punishment for their reckless act, Lilith and Lucifer were cast into hell while Eve had been cast from Eden, with Adam also relinquishing his position to accompany Eve, having the option to either stay or leave due to him having not consumed the fruit by choice, surrending Paradise and immortality to be with his love and to not repeat the mistakes he made with Lilith. Afterwards, the lovers would have two children: Cain, who would grow up to tend to the crops, and Abel, who would grow up to tend to the animals. While both were initially treated as equals, Abel would grow to become more favored in the eyes of not only heaven, but also unintentionally by both lovers, the fruits of his labor proving to be much more plentiful. This would carry for years until one day, when Cain would strike down Abel and be banished as punishment. On that day, Adam would lose both of his children and witness the evils that would come from their act of defiance. Left heartbroken by the loss of Cain and Abel, a wedge would be driven between the two lovers that would never fully mend, even after the birth of their third son, Seth, as while Eve was willing to accept Seth as a replacement for what she had lost, Adam wasn't and so would continue to become more and most distant until the day he would pass and enter Heaven, where he hoped he would be reunited with atleast one of his sons, only to be met with grief upon learning he had been the first to enter Heaven, with not even the Elders of Heaven being aware of where he was. So, Adam would roam Heaven for many years, completely alone and left with the grief of not being able to reunite with his son. He also grew to not only regret the many years he spent distancing himself from his thirdborn and beloved, but also feel guilty for the fact that he was in Paradise once more while the noble son who he unintentionally helped cause the death of was nowhere to be seen, seeing himself as unworthy of the afterlife he had been given. Adam hoped to atleast reunited with Eve and Seth in order to right what he had done wrong, but as years passed he would continue to live as the only human soul up in Heaven, his guilt, grief, and remorse continuing to build up as he began to indulge in every pleasure Heaven would provide as a means of trying to numb the pain By the time Seth arrived in Heaven, his father had become like he'd never seen, years of pent up loneliness and negativity, indulgence, and special treatment in Heaven having led to him becoming a broken man who become a far cry from the compassionate and good man he once was, having lost any ounce of hope he had. Because of this, Seth would turn his back on Adam, leaving him feeling alone once more despite how much Heaven's population had grown, and with that came bitterness, and from bitterness came anger and judgement, which he would direct towards not just Lilith and Lucifer for having caused him such torment (blaming them for every bad thing that ever happened to him because of how they "made" Eve consume the fruit of knowledge, starting the domino effect of every bad thing he went through, both on earth and in Heaven, also believing that it was somehow their fault that Cain would end up sinning and also somehow their fault that Eve and Abel weren't in Heaven with him but instead were possibly in Hell), but also towards the very realm they ruled over and built up after having spent centuries listening to other souls in heaven about not only the good of humanity, but also of the cruel and wicked brought upon as products of what the two had done that continue to harm the innocents among his own. Guided by his anger, Adam would organize and guide Heaven to make a truly heartless decision. That every year, Adam would lead down an army, an Extermination, to ensure all of Hell would pay for what they had done under the guise of protecting Heaven.
supposedly emily says that she kills them both, but a dead person cannot kill a living person. At least what she can do is what emily did is take him to the world of the dead while still alive, it's strange but in the same movie they say that a dead person can't kill a living person
Don't like that Victor is portrayed as a mean guy who used Emily🥺🥺🥺 when the real monster has always been Barkis who also intended to marry Victoria only to kill her just like he did with Emily😢😢😢 but the song is actually very good. Love the dark and hypnotic melody
You really presented Emily's story very coolly and from a completely different perspective, which by the way came out great. 😍😎😇😈 Ps. Since the ghost fest is just around the corner how about doing something from the 1993 Halloween town fairy tale, after all there are quite a few songs there from the Jack Skeleton one to Sally and even Oogie Boogie. 💀👻🎃🍬🍭
I like this song. I get her wanting revenge on Barkis, but her accusations against Victor was not quite how I remember it. She kidnapped him and she’s mad at him? Though you making it so he decided on his own not to drink that poison instead of Emily stopping him did have this make more sense.
I for one hate misunderstandings. I doubt he was cheating on her, rather he only wanted to have a word in private with her. He should have specified that before leaving her in the forest. And for the record, I don't mean socially leaving her or abandoning her, I mean physically.
So victor was swayed from his vow by Victoria so she was the one needed her heart ripped out now I wonder what a twisted victor song would be like he drank the posion but when the reveal happens he goes for the kill or defeat but gets punished and is tortured and by the time Emily finds him he is not the same and seems to be out for flesh to those he sees as deserving or something maybe involving Victoria suffering from victor honoring his word to Emily and hating it
They shouldve but the real End in the Movie was perfect for Emily. Because she got her revenge on that first husband and even if victor didnt die for her, she at least had some spark with a men, where the chemistry was real. She flew away finished her unfinished business and thats the best she could get. If Victor and her ended up togehter he maybe would always wonder "what wouldve happen if..." Plus the first husband wouldve still contuine his evilness.
It makes me even feel sorry for Emily even more then I did before also I wish you revealed that Emily and Victoria are related because I heard a rumor they are. Can you do one of Jack Skelton being the bad guy or Santa Claus pressing charges against him for stealing his holiday or Sally being the bad guy.
Honestly seems more in line with some of the original tales that inspired it, except the corpse bride in one of them allowed him to be married to both herself and his living bride, just so long as he visited from time to time, but there also came a time when he returned to her and found she had moved on, I think she sorta became a guardian to his kids, too? I don't fully recall. And the other one, her soul passed on out of anger after being told that her being dead already disqualified the marriage. But it also reminds me of A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. The song was already similar to Corpse Bride, but I'd imagine if it were this way, Victor, like the guy in the song, would be begging for Emily's forgiveness. But this Emily had her heart broken too many times, so she wouldn't just forgive him and marry him right after.
I honestly think neither victoria or Viktor would do that. Viktor is way to dutyful and needed Emil to stop him. Viktoria is way to shy to try to get Viktor.

You know the whole film of Corpse Bride could have been avoided if Victor just explained he was rehearsing his wedding vows because he was getting married to another girl and he for Emily's finger was a tree branch the whole film could have been avoided if he just communicated
To be fair…
She did kinda kidnap him and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
She probably would’ve reacted the same way.
@@therealopaartist yeah that is true but would be nice to see him try to tell her the truth
@@therealopaartistyeah totally agree
Oh come on, Victor may had lie but he does not have a black heart. Barkis on the other hand, he has a big black heart.
I feel like this is another view of the history, where the trauma emily suffered made her see victor as the same as his old fiancee, so its all kinda in her traumatized and sad view.
@@karmagaming2098yes I agree
Yet he provoked something he shouldn't therefore tradegy but the punishment was coming
Barkis has a heart of everything negative not a single drop of something happy and im not even exaggerating.
While I'm all for VictorxEmily, this could've been avoided had Victor explained to Emily that he was already in an arranged marriage. Glad Barkis got his comeuppance at least.
Milky always knows how to make an amazing song out of any fandom, this is why she is the best, Milky you should make an Undertale song!
1:46 this bit confused me bc Victor didn’t see Victoria at first but Emily did and Emily stopped him from drinking the poison
it's an alternate universe where Emily never saw Victoria, Victor did. So Emily wasn't going to stop Victor from drinking the poison, and Victor instead decided not to drink it so he could be with Victoria instead
@ oh ok. I thought it was based from the film
OHHH THIS IS SO GOOD✨️🔥‼️
I loved the way you made this Emily's version of life more sad and heartbreaking.
The way in the end she genuinely thought that someone like Victor was willing to marry her only to back out was the final straw and she became vengeful of the two men who ruined her in life and death.
"maybe if I eat theirs mine will start to feel whole" OUCH OK THAT ONE FELT PERSONAL
@@HoneyBuns-x6lI agree
I feel like that neither of you saw my comment on

That was my theory too! And not just jealousy, but pain and hatred towards Barkis. But I thought that she would somehow calm down in her desire for revenge. Not to become a freaking cannibal.
She was acting like a real Zombie there. To attack and kill the Living.
Not really tho, she didn't try attacking these guys here 3:12
Oh dear, mercy me! *evil.*

Damnnnnnnnnnnn Emily the anger finally got to her and she showed them who the real boss was and it was always her (OG and AUs)
Did she really think a relationship between them would work? One was a bastard who only wanted her money, and the other guy was pressured to do the vow when he actually had someone who was alive that loved him.
I do like the imagery and such but I don’t feel bad for the corpse bride since she should’ve listened the first time.
Well, she said it herself that she was never that bright.

Your version of Emily when she was alive leading to her death just makes me want to jump into the screen and help her tear Barkis’s corpse apart. I’d help her bury the double dead body.
Fun Fact: Emily is actually Victoria’s Aunt and she’s the reason why the family is having money problems.

Emily has become a beautiful NIGHTMARE!
This was eerie and beautiful, perfect for the Halloween season
One detail I noticed with this animatic, is that Barkis actually stepped on the spider and the worm/maggot which feels like those were the ones that helped Emily in the movie and were her support.
Without them, she falls more into despair.
aaaaaaaaa love this! Corpse Bride was one of my favourite Burton movies, you did Emily so much vengeful justice!

“A toast to Emily! Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”
“Well at least I’m likelier to have a ring on my finger than poison in my mouth.”

Idea: paranorman alternate universe that he became the way aggie make people Suffer.

Great song and animatic, with it definitely being a very tragic story as we see Emily lose her humanity throughout. Also, I honestly can't wait till we get more original Hazbin songs, especially more Adam songs, maybe something like the villain origin songs you've been doing, with it painting this version of Adam in a more sympathetic light as we see his origin
I have this personal head canon about his origins (in a story format like the beginning of Episode 1 explaining the "Story of Hell") that I personally think makes sense, although feel free to disagree.
Adam hoped to atleast reunited with Eve and Seth in order to right what he had done wrong, but as years passed he would continue to live as the only human soul up in Heaven, his guilt, grief, and remorse continuing to build up as he began to indulge in every pleasure Heaven would provide as a means of trying to numb the pain
By the time Seth arrived in Heaven, his father had become like he'd never seen, years of pent up loneliness and negativity, indulgence, and special treatment in Heaven having led to him becoming a broken man who become a far cry from the compassionate and good man he once was, having lost any ounce of hope he had.
This was incredible. Great work as always. Happy Halloween. 🎃🎃🎃

supposedly emily says that she kills them both, but a dead person cannot kill a living person.

I like this song. I get her wanting revenge on Barkis, but her accusations against Victor was not quite how I remember it. She kidnapped him and she’s mad at him? Though you making it so he decided on his own not to drink that poison instead of Emily stopping him did have this make more sense.

I love your original songs so much!🥰🥰🥰
Wait in the movie, Emily the Dead Bride stopped Victor from drinking the poison and let him marry Victoria the living bride
I for one hate misunderstandings. I doubt he was cheating on her, rather he only wanted to have a word in private with her. He should have specified that before leaving her in the forest. And for the record, I don't mean socially leaving her or abandoning her, I mean physically.
“I never was that bright” I SEE WHAT YOU DID THEREEEE
This is awesome! She deserves this villain song!

Hello, will there be a cover of the song, daisies?
Changed: I mean a woman's voice
The art style is utterly beautiful.❤
This original cover is awesome, even though i haven't watched this movie in a really long time
Honestly seems more in line with some of the original tales that inspired it, except the corpse bride in one of them allowed him to be married to both herself and his living bride, just so long as he visited from time to time, but there also came a time when he returned to her and found she had moved on, I think she sorta became a guardian to his kids, too? I don't fully recall. And the other one, her soul passed on out of anger after being told that her being dead already disqualified the marriage.
But it also reminds me of A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. The song was already similar to Corpse Bride, but I'd imagine if it were this way, Victor, like the guy in the song, would be begging for Emily's forgiveness. But this Emily had her heart broken too many times, so she wouldn't just forgive him and marry him right after.
So cool, I love your voice❤❤❤
