This song evokes in my mind images of the Shoah. In my opinion I believe that there is no nation on this planet that must know what it´s like to be a refugee and which should show it´s tolerance towards other minorities in it´s homeland.

Also my reaction to which you refer, is about what the song evokes in my mind, not the exact facts. History is full of human tragedy. It is what the Romans already concluded in the beginning of the Western Calender: "Homo homini lupus est !" ( Man is a wolf to mankind). I think it is better to remember Ofra Haza and her musical legacy.

Ofra herself said because they were Yemenite and poor they would often be discriminated. Ofra was proud of her home country Israel, but also of her heritage.
