I'm Chinese but I have Jewish blood from my mother's side since my great-great-grandmother was Jewish from Europe. She converted herself to Christian to avoid oppression. Я люблю Израиль с первого его посещения в 2006, он околдовал меня , поразил. Мне было там так тепло. Сейчас приехала 3 октября и была с израильтянами 4 недели войны. Влюбилась в эту страну ещё больше. Может в прошлой жизни я была еврейкой? Иначе не могу объяснить мое отношение к происходящему. Не хотела уезжать, и война не пугала . Уехала, потому что мой сын очень переживал за мою жизнь, и ещё я работаю доктором, отпуск закончился, нужно было возвращаться. Но с сыном договорились, в апреле - я снова в Израиле. Пусть хранит господь мою любимую страну. Амэн .

The first time I've listened that song was at the end of Spielberg's film "The Schindler's List" and I loved it more when I've listened Ofra's performance. It's a very beautiful song. Shalom from Greece.

Beautiful. I understand it almost became the second national anthem. Along with hatikva. I was in Israel in 2009 we were finally able to go to the western wall and to the temple mount on our last day there. That trip changed my life forever I have not been the same since then.
