Any difference in power at all? I have 4-2-1 headers and intake, wondering if I’ll feel a difference with this fuel pump, my upgraded distributor cap, wires, v power plugs, and new high flow fuel filter.
No difference at all power wise. It's more of a safety thing. The factory one is apparently right on the edge of being able to supply enough fuel to the k24a2/3 engine on a stock tune.
@@teamaxlestands I'm gearing up to do the same swap to my carby 92 EG so I'm watching your videos very carefully - probably a couple things here and there I wish I'd seen more detail on but for the most part this has been super helpful
@@obzai No worries. I'll try and do a quick vid on the carby to efi part as i've had a few people asking and its really not that hard. The duty cycle seems to still be the same and the issue was more the tune (very rich up top) than the pump. Still feel more comfortable knowing the pump has some headroom in it now. Any topics you want me to cover in more detail just let me know.
Can’t wait to see more videos like this
Just installed using your guide! Thank you bro!
Cheers... glad it helped!
Nice one bro 👌 need a drive by video asap 😁

Stock wirings?
yeah I am running stock wiring. I believe at 50PSI they only draw 8 amps so its safe to use the factory wiring.
What was the outcome with the injector duty cycle after the pump swap?
I'll have to let you know. I've actually only been for one drive and forgot to log.
