This is one of the most underrated albums in history.
For real
6 years later this still rings true. I fucking love this album
I agree whole Hearty !
My hunch ! Joe is a Christian; " NOT A White Supremacist ", He's writing / singing " Your choice between Heaven and Hell " Fall to Your knees' ( we are all sinner who need Christ, no one is reighteous !!! ).I hate prejudice people !!! I seen Joe, at Burt's Tiki, in Salt Lake City; around 2008. His kick drum wasn't working properly and so Joe got off stage and just played the acoustic guitar in the so called foyer. Everyone gathered around Joe, peacefully; without incident ! Good job Joe ! " You Da Man " !!!!!
Because you like it?
HE REGULAR FOLK LIKE SOME OF US, THATS WHY HE NEVER BE MAINSTREAM.
Joe Buck played in knoxville one night at what was called the "Anti-Prom", and I had talked with him out front of the venue. I had told him that I had seen him play with Hank3, and as a solo act, and was very impressed. to make the story short I had asked him to play a few songs up front as i did not have the time to stay for the whole set. In which he replied that he had set list already written, and didn't know. Well, let me tell you how fucking COOL, and BADASS he is...he changed that setlist, and played the songs I requested at the front. JOE BUCK YOURSELF IS A FUCKING MADMAN AND A POET IN HIS OWN RIGHT! HELLBILLY/PUNK LENGEND ALREADY IN THE MAKING!!!
heathwho cannotbenamed hell yeah dude, when i seen him live there was only like 10 people at the show so he just hung out with us and played all songs with just his guitar no drums. It was so cool he was very nice only thing we were missing was a bonfire,
+Jack Dial same here man he sat with like 10of us out back of the bar with his acoustic an jammed for us he didnt get to play cause the cops had showed up from prior bands so he chose not to get the owner in more trouble an just sat an bullshited with all us for few hours around the fire it was a killer night just wish hed come back down to florida!!!
Met him in Redding CA and he was nice as hell. My buddy shot the shit with him about motorcycles for about a half hour before the show.
I met him at one of his shows about 8 years near Springfield,
IL. I’ve seen a lot of “big names” but, Joe Buck put on the best show I’ve ever witnessed!!! He drug me up on stage to sing with him and Capt. Sean to sing with them. One of the best nights of my life. I had to buy a “Demon in My Head” T-Shirt, I still proudly wear it.
He is such a badass!! I met him to in Lansing, MI and happened to ha e a Lefty Frizzell record in my car from going a friend move and I know he LOVES Lefty, so I brought it up to him the parking lot and he signed it LEFTY IS KING -JOE BUCK YOURSELF
❤

Im surprised nobody ever picked this song up back in the days of good music.. like white zombie or danzig. Hell i could head ozzy rippin this song up.. fuckin pantera beltin it out.. but even more surprised nobody like kid rock redid this song.. dont know if ole buddy was putting out albums that long ago tho,.. thought dude was back when punk scenes were closing shop...
Sometimes we walk the alley/valley of pressure. If we are lucky we paddle out of that emotional backwater. Then, we... well, we do make it do what it do.
