@@netwitchtatjana4661 That's a fact my friend. Debilitating pain since 8/11/98 has taught me that opiates are my friend, I'm sorry to say, but they improve the quality of my life. I've cold turkeyed off 4 or 5 times over the years due to M.D. issues and of course the Man, so I know what you're going through. All I can say is stay strong in your mission, we'll all be there soon enough in the end. Then we'll all be proud bedridden rejects together.

I used to go see these guys play in small smokey clubs often when they first started in Portland in the mid 2000s. So many good drunken times. I booked at one of these said small clubs and they left a large crinkled paper bag with a bunch of instruments like tambourines, shakers, etc after a show one night which they would hand out to the audience to play. A few nights later at their next show, at a different venue, I brought the bag to the front of their typically exuberant, fun and drunken crowd, motioned to the singer, and then proceeded to hand out their leftover mini instruments to their people in the crowd to play along to one of their last songs. I think that was the last night I saw them. Such a fun band who really cemented a particularly dark and creative time in Portland pre-Portlandia. Everyone in the band is super nice and a fun fact the lead singer is a Fish Biologist during the day.

The woman I loved so so much... loves this band, had I only listened to her and them more, maybe things could've been different? Bless her and bless the time we had together.. my heart is empty without her... but, all things are possible. Thank you for this song.

6 Years ago I heard this track for the first time. Since then I can't live without it. Mainly because of the part that starts at 3:25
"Evil are the demons that haunt you
forgetting what it was that they taught you
and now there's no one left to stop you
or to catch you when you drop"
    Thank you

Yep! I am still here, 2020 and probably beyond. If it's the black Chevy with the pipes growling or the late nights creeping the backroads on that shine, this is what always gets some play. Outlaws ain't dead or dying, we are busy bringing home the rain. Living like the villains and thinking like the nerds, pass that bottle man! I'm day to day.

I was so obsessed when i heard this album the first time. There's still gentle headbanging happening when shuffle strtikes^^ His voice, the storytelling quality... Thanks to Freak-Luck they even did a Tour in Europe at that time. Awesome experience, especially in a small club with less than 100 people.

Thank you UA-cam for an unexpected intro to a band that I may have shyd away from if I were told there were fiddles and banjos involved. But Goddamn , if this song doesn't stoke the blues and possibly my trashy predessessors which makes me wish I could sit and enjoy my grandfather and his talent when he played his banjo for me as a child and I was but an ungrateful little punk.
