What a great Scottish tour you both have had. Fascinating places to see and well run campsites. The colours in the glens were just fantastic - obviously a wonderful time to visit Scotland. As a newby to motorhome life and just getting used to a larger vehicle, your out and about attitude is helping us find our feet.
Always look forward to theses videos, nice easy watching and very informative. Looking forward to picking out a little campervan when all this silliness is over 😊☕️
I absolutely love your videos. I discovered you by happenstance from one of the other RVers I follow. I’ve been binge watching since then and of course subscribed. I can’t wait to get back on the road again here in the US north Georgia mountains as my home base. After a 15 month long battle with cancer, radiation, chemo twice and 4 surgeries my prognosis is good and I’m on the road to recovery. As soon as I’m able to RV again I’ll be out and about. It’s videos like yours and Jenny’s that kept me entertained when quarantined which is going on for 9 months and counting. Wesley the Westie and Jezebel the Scotty love to see Poppy on tv. They bark and carry on like she’s in the room with them. Keep up the great work and we all can’t wait to see you next adventure.
HI THERE . my father and stepmum . bought the campsite in 1987 . after i immigrated to the usa . my dad put planted the trees . they ran the site for several years i visited there several times . i remmember driving the tractor and the land rover around the fields . down to bottom . think they sold it to the c&cc . glad you had fun despite the rain . nick wood .
Hello Bob and Jenny another cracking video and sorry but I have to say it, I just love your interpretation of Scottich place names, they certainly bring a smile. You are now in our local area and I do hope you enjoy it, had I known I would have been more than happy to show you guys around as there is so much to see, much of which is not in the tourist leaflets. Any way have a great time and enjoy.
Yet another enjoyable video and yes your right it's been very hard times this year, I don't think any of us could've predicted back in March we'd still be enduring lockdowns and restrictions. Today should've been my daughters wedding day but has been postponed to next May, gutted as its been a beautifully perfect autumnal day here in Wales today, there we are it is what it is. Thank you so much for your channel we really do enjoy and appreciate You, Jenny and little Pops as we've come to call here 😍. Stay safe and we'll look forward to seeing more of your journeys soon xx
Thank you, we've been very privileged to travel as much as we have this year and I'm glad we have been able to share it with so many. Let's hope and pray for better times ahead.
Such a lovely English couple and enjoy watching your videos such genuine and respectful nice couple you are , have little to ask of different apart from it would be great to see more of your times spent socialising eating and drinking yourselves and also with friends like many other camper van people do . Hope to see many more of your videos !
We would love to be meeting up with our friends, we had plans to meet during the summer on Harris but that had to be cancelled ...I’m sure we will see Bob & Jen next year when we are hopefully back to normal . Missing our times together .
Nice site. Been a few times and it’s only 10 miles away from where we live. Handy to us for a short break. You would get a lovely meal at the woodsman restaurant don’t know if it wold be open when you were there due to current restrictions.
Hi Bob, don’t put the kettle on just yet , help again please,I have fitted 100 wt solar into charger and connected to engine battery to help during winter. Question is Bob can I just drive MH with it connected as the alternator will be supplying charge while the engine is running,or do I have to disconnect from the solar. Thanks Penguin peter 🐧🐧
I assume you have connected it via a solar controller and the motorhome management system? If so, yes you should be fine to drive it. You must not connect a solar panel direct to the battery, you could do some serious damage.
Great video Bob, i live in Alva, i walked past Sauchie Tower yesterday, did you see the Beam Engine behind it, i walk along that old railway path often.
Hi Bob, going to pick your brain now. We have our caravan,at penisar mynfford caravan park in North Wales. We struggle for phone signal , let alone broadband. But need broadband etc. I cannot afford the night hawk M1, iam retired on benefits. What do you recommend for me please. As cheap has possible. !!! Thanks Jim prendergast.
If I were you, I'd talk to one of the mobile companies, you may need a mobile signal aerial and mobile router on a contract rather than buying a mobile router.
Can I ask do you drink the water out of your fresh water tank? Still in researching mode for our first Motorhome and a site I visited thought I was mad for asking! Mixed responses 😂 it seems odd to have fresh water then have to carry more for a cup of tea! Love the videos thanks for all the practical advice.
Hi we always drink straight from our tank, I don't believe in carrying drinking water separate seams silly plus more weight, nothing wrong with tank water just clean your tank about 2-3 times a year, happy camping chrissey
The woods was built and owned by paul and jacqui edney, both were from caravanning stock who i knew as a youngster in the south west scotland caravan club as it was way back then.we have been once and it is a very nice site that we plan to return to

We do, I tend to put it in a filter jug first, as I prefer it chilled and filtered though.
Thank you I was sure I’d seen you do that!
