    I simply wish to add that, aside from standard Opinel nº8, it works well with the nº8 "garden" type (the one I use), but not with the nº8 "pruning" blades (mushroom knife, etc).

    Was not clear on the pivot collar. For those not familiar with this opinel knife, after inserting the chosen utensil, you turn the collar from right to left, allowing the notch on the collar to pass over the folded blade. To remove the utensil, twist the collar back from left to right, opening up the gap to allow the utensil to be pulled back out.

    May as well buy three so all will become separate eating utensils . New military surplus eating utensils are a better value .

      no, it only works on the no8 with wooden handles.

    Should be a s/s blade not carbon check they come in both.

    Good review but im not impressed about tool set its too much blade play. 🤪

      I understand that. I haven't used it much and have gone back to my Gerber Compleat as my utensil set.
