THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT! I'm inspired by you all every single day! Don't forget to check out all of my home studio gear and other equipment suggestion that could possibly help you on your creative journey on my Amazon Influencer page! -- > www.amazon.com/shop/archiebeatz
I’m gonna be honest, I think this mic sounds super harsh.. could be the speakers on my iPhone 7 but it’s almost too crispy
Archie, thanks for an awesome review of this microphone! I already have their Amethyst and love it and have been looking at the BH2 for my voice over arsenal. My son called me up asking about recording gear and your review of this microphone was still on my brain since I watched it a couple days ago. Plus, since JZ Microphones was running a sale for %50 off, I got two of them. One for me and one for him to use. Also, being a music studio hardware/software aficionado, I really enjoyed seeing all the equipment you have in your studio too. Thanks for sharing this!
"A pop filter is a pop filter", profound. Thank you for the barrage of great videos on your channel! Really helps me out. Thank you
Hahahahaha, Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it Wyatt!
This mic sounds absolutely amazing. Thanks for reviewing it.
I know right! You are welcome and thank you for watching Stefan.
Love the openness of this mic & highs & clarity . Tried the WA 87 R2 & liked its lows & smoothness. I think I will end up using both on stereo!
Never heard of that one. I may have to check that out. Great Video AB!
I see. I've been seeing it float around the industry for a while and I heard nothing but great things about it. I was so happy to finally see what it could do for myself. You definitely should. Thanks Wallace!
It's really nice when you make this videos thanks for this I really apreciate it 😉👍
Thanks Daniel. I enjoy helping the pro audio and creator community as much as I can.
Damn, that sounds great... I just got an email from them running a summer sale, you can get this mic for 50% off right now! I'm pretty tempted lol great review!
Wow the design of the mic is crazy and the performance it sounds awesome. I think I might try it out bro
I know right. I'm really shocked Keef. It's hands down a contender in the pro audio world. A new favorite for sure.
I prefer without processing, I'll check, thanks for the review
my next mic for sure
I’m loving these new videos, even tho I’m broke and can’t get these
Thank you so much, lol. Patience. It took me forever to be able to get my dream mics and other mics. Hang in there.
I have been researching mics like crazy, this is one of my favs under $1k mics.
skylisszthecolossus Make sure u wait fir there sales. I’ve seen them 50% off. Black Friday etc
@@Damianthelovetour2024 you are sure right. Im glad you said that I forgot to add a shopping bookmark 😆
This looks like a good for me ❤👌🏽🔥 I always record singers
I got that mic. It's great!
Excellent
Thank you so much.
Good evening in the hut) what do you think of the Lewitt 440 Pure?
New Sub!!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the sub.
Dope man I tried use the %30 off and it gave me free shipping instead?
Hey, Archie great work you do, How do you address the low end of the JZ mic when mixing? As the first thing we do is cut between 50Hz to 200Hz in some cases, My question, all the low end, will end up not getting used with such a low end detailed mic, or would you dub this mic a (Barry White) vocal mic? I'm sure the top end live up to it, but cutting the low end would be my concern when you want vocals to cut through the mix, respectively!
Hey Gregory. Automatically, I start with the basic/traditional cut of lower and some mid end with vocals for mixing with this microphone. With this mic, I prefer a little of the low end detail in songs during the mixing process. Honestly, it's requires little cutting due to it's characteristics in the low and mid end. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your question bro.
Archie, Do you have any songs recorded with this mic? Any examples dry or mixed?
Check out Techzone Stellar X2. Its pretty good to me.
Nice. I've heard that that's one of the best budget microphones out. Thanks for sharing.
Can you Do a reveiw of the ntk
It sounds really good with your voice! But how do you think it would sound with someone with a more mid/high pitched voice?
Hey Ewillo! I think it would compliment a mid/high (alto) all the way to a soprano voice as well. This mic captures the right detail for sure.
@@archiebeatz for sure I'm gonna dig into this mic a bit more. How was the AT4050 with alto rap vocals? I remember it was in your top microphones video. And thanks for the feedback I appreciate that
Do u like it better then your u87 would go for the u87 for the jz bh2 and if not why
Thank you for this video!! Definitely needed this to push me to buy a mic! There’s so many fucking options🔥
You are welcome and thank you so much for watching. Yeah, there are so many options out there. Please don't get overwhelmed, lol. I got overwhelmed before, lol. Just grab a microphone and get creative Ryan! I really appreciate the comment.
Archie I know this comment’s unrelated but I can’t find satisfying information online, what do you think of the at2035 compared to the rode nt1? I’ve seen individual reviews but I don’t think I can base my decision off of them. Any help would be awesome, been watching lotta your videos and I really love the work🔥
Go to audio test kitchen where you can compare over 300 microphones and HEAR the differences between them...I just discovered this new website myself and it definitely helped me decide the microphone I want for my first home studio set up.
TimisaLilMonster Thanks man! which mic did you end up picking?
Thank you so much for helping out with Scoobakay question. I just found out about audio test kitchen yesterday. Noob move right, lol. I will definitely start suggesting it on my channel for the microphones I don't have in my locker but I've used before. Once again thank you so much.
Thank you so much and did you go over to Audio Test Kitchen yet to check out the mics?
@@Scoobakay I ended up choosing the MXL V69...for ME at least it's a great beginner large vocal condenser microphone and the reviews of it have been very well received. Also heard some sample takes on UA-cam and it seems to work amazingly well. But of course, your preference and needs may be different including audio taste.
Can u check the black lion B173 its a 1073 clone i heard its sound same
which one would you says best for male hiphop vocals: JZ BH2 or JZ V67 or WA U87AI?????????
Is the discount code still available for now?
I’ve seen them on sale for $699 and even $499. Black Friday half off.
Yes. It's on sale now as well.
If you keep buying mic after mic and still feeling the mic you have is not for you then that means your not a sound engineer. You can take pretty much any mic with the right levels of set up and get a great sound. 99.9% of people don’t know anything about engineering music but the want to become a superstar. Live your dreams but understand the equipment you have already on board.
Having a mic locker with a collection of microphones is not a bad thing or an inexperience notion. In fact, I can't tell you one of my professional audio engineer colleagues that doesn't have a pretty sizable collection ranging from inexpensive to expensive microphones. Also, purchasing addition microphones doesn't indicated the lack of knowledge with your current microphone. Ultimately, I'm with you. You should definitely learn how to use the gear you have but don't be afraid to expand when you can.
Archie Beatz Thanks for the feedback. And I Love your channel. Keep up the great work your a leader.
Here we go with another don’t but bear talk lol
Yo guys im a newcomer (rapper: aggressiv gangstarap, deepshit and sometimes clubbanger) normaly i record by some ,,random" producers but i want to make a homestudio by myself and start with my first youtube&spotify tracks so what microphone u prefer for me? the one in this video the blackhole bh2 is really nice but in my country it cost 689€ im sure i buy it as my second mic in future..but for my first mic i guess i choose one of the three mics= Behringer Pro b2 OR Shure SM7B OR t.bone SC 1100 or what yall prefer for me? i really need yalls opinion and answer ! greetings and big thx
How would you compare it to your U87?
Honestly, it's actually right that in the ring, lol.
@@archiebeatz Wow..
I know where my stimulus check going now.
It sounds fucking incredible
Échele miel
I can’t stand that high end crunch man. It’s clear as hell but those highs are to shizzely crunchy. It became distracting.
