Good 4 u
Your going to need a higher budget for a Microphone with a higher quality,This comment is most likely a joke but i'm just here to inform you
@@ughitstanuja well my budget is actually around 50-100 dollars but im currently saving up for a new pc
@@Fernisawake Ah,Good luck saving up for the PC then!
Big thanks bro
Ive been dreaming to have a mini studio... but i dont know where to start... luckily, i found you. thanks a lot.
Awesome! I have plenty of content so hopefully I can help out. Let me know if you have any questions.
Start with a macbook lol
MatPat of Game Theory brings up the stories a lot of recording the audio for his videos in a closet filled with clothes because it blocks out so much of the sound that would otherwise be bouncing around the room, which a normal recording room would have an expensive amount of sound panels all over the walls for.
Keep dreaming..hehe
@@xaby996 Start with an *old* Macbook, it's cheaper. I just switched to Windows this past year after close to two decades of strictly Mac production but *word to the beginner* buy an older refurb Mac. I'd stay away from the M1 Mac as it's going to be that much more expensive and I honestly don't know that many people who are using the M1 processor over Intel rn.. for a number of reasons.
Flat out man, best reviews of these budget mic's on the market. Very to the point and easy to understand while still given details that could be overlooked. Well done man, keep it up.
Dude i love how you immediately just go into the content. This is so refreshing holy shit.
Ok, playing a music while you're displaying texts, and having the background visual being you recording said music is just brilliant 👏👏
Thank you. I thought it would be helpful.
This could be a series like the best microphones under $1000 and $500 in 2020 type of vids, loved this one 🤘keep it up

It’s crazy that it took so long lol

They all sound basically the same. . .

Thanks for the testing. I personally had my heart set out on the Blue Ember Microphone, but felt it was only giving me the type of high vocals only and no lows heard at all. However, I'm much more sold on the AKG P120 Microphone. I love the warmth, and how it gives me a wider feel, and great vocals of highs and lows.
You are welcome. I understand. I find myself leaning towards the AKG P120 when I’m aiming for more dimensional vocals in this price range. Yes, I totally agree. I’m glad you found the P120 fitting for your vocal chain. 🙏🏽
I bought the Blue Ember a while ago when I first heard you speak about it. I have several mics that came from your recommendations. Great Mic & Great Video. Thanks For Sharing.
Wallace N. Nice. How are you liking it? Also, it’s great to have a few mics in the home mic locker lol. Thanks bro 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

just found your channel! love the content you create. hard to find real sincere reviews nowadays. love how you show the actual practical side of things. I can read specs anywhere. but you create the content that people really need. Kudos to you.
Thank you. Yes, my goals with my UA-cam channel is to give you the practical side but never be afraid to journey out being creative. Hahaha, yes, specs are good but it's better to show what the specs mean as well. Thank you for dropping by and being apart of the journey.

After looking for years for the right one ive finally found it! Ive spent a little over 100 a few ears ago and decided to keep working on my music and other projects while i look for the right one. Blue Ember wins! Thank you so much! :D Cant wait to start recording and uploading

Thank you so much for helping me find the right one! Never thought i was gonna make music, but now is the time. Gonna be the AT2020 for me
I like the AKG. Sounds like a nice warm natural sound. The other two sounded much brighter.

I had my eye on the AKG but, that Blue mic just changed my mind. Thanks for this video, Really helped.
Awesome just awesome review man, I couldn't stop watching it for one sec and I didnt want to skip any part.

Incredible video, thank you so much for putting this out there
best video I've seen for microphones! Really informative and not boring.
a fantastic video man thank you so much. This was so helpful and I appreciate what you doing out here
I would say this is a great review, but it’s more exquisite due to the fact that he sampled the naked mics without any pre amps on it or anything. I really love that, plus you speak with a lot of experience🤙🏽
Another classic, helpful, and beneficial knowledge-filled video from a reliable source whom I trust on everything. Now to pick which one of these to purchase. That Halo Shadow might have to be a new edition to my little setup as well.
Thank you Big Archie B!
Hi Archie loved this video! Could you please do a vid on how to use the mic, what else you need for it to work and how to edit singing covers etc? Would be really helpful as I am very bad w tech ;) x

Awesome microphone review and test. The P120 definitely seem to have lower noise floor. I also love AT2020 and have been interested in getting it for some time. The sound/vocal test definitely helps greatly in making a decision.
Thank you. I agree. The AKG P120 also have extra control over the volume and roll off. I'm glad this video helped with your decision making process.

Good stuff. I liked reading your equipment list and seeing that you are using older cameras. Obviously they do what you need them to do, and you can invest in better audio equipment.

Man I was about to buy the At2020 but now I like AKG the most , thanks
Yes, the AKG p120 came hard lol. It captured my heart as well.
Love your music and video intro!!!
thank you so much.
Late but this (and more ofc) made me get the at2020, awesome mic for the price and thank you Archie!
I love your editing keep it up bro!
thank you brother a lot i needed this
Thank you, this really helps, as I am looking for a good mike in this price range. The AT sounded the most natural, the AKG a bit warmer and thicker, the Blue Ember very clear but the lack of bass does jump out. All very good, but for me the blue ember is a nonstarter, the Audio Technica and AKG are close, but would have liked if if you demoed the pan and the bass rolloff.
Which one do you recommend for someone with the ability with an extensive range? I can sing really high as well as hit alto-tenor notes. I am a mezzo soprano. Thanks!
Dude your studio is incredible 👀
Nice studio. And I always like the piano sound
Thank you!
Hot dayum! #BlueEmber 👑✨👌
Right 🔥🔥🔥
Dope video brother! Thank you 🙏🏾
This is one of so cool content to watch & learn ♥️
hi sir, among them which is suitable for recording acoustic guitars.. or do you have other recommendation in the same budget price.?
Archie u dropped this 👑
Hey Archie, incredibly informative video. What would you recommend for recording both piano and vocals? I really would like to get the AKG P120, but I wouldn't know where to start with the set-up (not much space or money here), so I feel like the AT2020 USB option would be much simpler (though from reading previous comments, it looks like the AT2020 doesn't have as warm a tone as AKG.)
thanks for the review. helped me decide.
You are welcome and thank you. I'm glad it helped.
Mann a whole Life and COIN saver out hereee 🤧🥵🙏
on me!
yeeeessssss i needed this vid thx so much archie :) think im gonna get the at2020
Yesss! Go for it. Thank you for dropping by and I’m glad I can help out!
Not good ..get rockville rcm pro...
Hope I can have one, huhu it's too expensive but ill do something to save money so my song covers will be great. Thank you for the video! Soon I will have one🙌🙏❤️
Hey, I'm currently watching a few of these 'bunch of budget microphone review' videos to find out which microphone I should buy for hobby recordings.
A) would you consider this list still accurate or has any new budget microphone caught yoir attention too?
B) as said, hobby vocalist and dubber asking here, do you think a xlr is also better fitted for the job or would usb connection be fine?
hey, thank you so much for this video helped me so much!
You are welcome and thank you for watching. I’m glad I can help.
hey archie, what is the best mic for a loud singer?
your studio is so beautiful man i hope i can make it to that spot someday
The informations are helpful hard one🔥🔥💯
Thanks again. I just bought the AKG P120 for $99 on Amazon. I'm excited to hear what it sounds like on my gear. Peace!
Nice. You are welcome. I'm glad you decided to go with the AT2020. You won't be disappointed. Let me know what you think when you get it.
@@archiebeatz he said AKG not Audio technica 🤦 you pretty much roasted hin
Right, I trust AKG cause of the earphones that come with Samsung phones;)
@@hsojnitram8071 The Mike is very nice. Really captures the vocals truly. Lots of fun!
@@hsojnitram8071 akg is owned by samsung now and the engineers who owned akg before dont make akg products anymore. The quality of audio coming from your samsung earphones are not nearly as good as actual akg products, since the new akg products aren't even akg, theyre samsung.
This vid was really helpful. I subscribed. what mic do you use on the regular though?
HEY THERE BEAUTIFUL SOUL! THANK YOU FOR BEING CONSISTENT WITH YOUR AMAZING INFORMING VIDEO CONTENT!! YOUR SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVER MIC ON THE MARKET....IM AWARE THAT THESE MICS ARENT ON THIS ONE BUT IM A SINGER & RAPPER & WANT TO KNOW DO YOU THINK I WOULD DO BEST WITH THE RODE NT1-A OR THE BLUE BIRD??
Hey Archie wich one do you recommended for someone with a kind of high pitched voice?
The AKG P120 for sure.
@@archiebeatz thankyou🙌🏼🙌🏼✌🏼
Thank you, I need this review
Thanks for the video!
excellent video, thanks!
Love this budget mic rev-off video! I am just building my home studio and I am looking for a good mic for speech AS WELL AS Spanish acoustic Guitar. I was considering the P120, but your vid sways me toward the Blue Ember. Please let me know which you recommend for my purpose? Fondly, Michael
goddamned this was a well produced video
great sound check
Hahahaha! Thanks Joe. I really appreciate it.
Everyone seems to like the Blue Ember. The Blue definitely seems brighter, which I think some people experience as "clarity" but it feels like you lose a little low end because it's a small diaphragm mic. You can't really add that low end back in with EQ but with the AKG you always have the option of taking it out if you want that channel brighter. And if a person has a higher pitched voice the Blue might not work with them at all. I'd probably run the Blue through a warm vintage style pre and compressor to help thicken the mids a little if I was going to use that.
Interesting, honestly I'm having a hard time figuring out which one I should go for. Just vocals for recording hip hop/ rap songs. Any suggestions?
I'm no expert but I was thinking the same thing. I prefer to have it in with the option of taking it out but I digress.
Yeah, the low end sounded a bit muddier on the Blue. I'm going to be recording tenor sax along with vocals...so it's a bit worrying. But on the flip side it's small enough to record at the bell. Decisions, decisions.
Thank you for this! I’m highly Soprano🙏🏾
omg thanks for this comment. I almost bought the blue... just because it looks the coolest to me. But i have a really soft and high voice so I'm thankful you left this comment.
