- We check out the Black Hole BH2 Cardioid from JZ Microphones. It's a really interesting mic that has a super fast transient response and nice low end. It is fast like a SDC but full sounding like a LDC. The best of both worlds.

The mic sounds great but I’m really commenting cause I loved the groove you played on the drums. I kept rewinding back to listen again. I want to sample it and make weird loops haha great job
Always a good day when there is a new creative sound lab channel.
Awesome video, thanks for testing this mic out!!
I subscribed strictly cause i play many instruments also and ur way talented my man. Keep up the good work! Also good assessment of the mic. I like how u tested it for many things. Good and thorough. Excellent job, Excellent vid. Thanks for ur time and efforts!
Love the info man. Keep it keeping it real.
I was impressed. Seems like a versatile mic.
I need to test this microphone as well.
Wow...I really really liked what I heard it!!! I definitely want one lol!
Love this song & good mic of course
Oh man i'd love to try stereo OH on drums. Will have to check this mic out. Great vid dude.
Sounds great on vocals. That singer is awesome too.
This mike is very amazing, as everything that JZ does. It sounds both like a small and a large diaphragm, like you said. It goes out the box. I like this crisp, but never harsh sound. There is some roundness into it, paradoxally.
i really liked it on vox and it had a great sound for that style of music; i also really liked hearing it in different positions on the guitar, even hand-held.
Nice content, man.
pretty nice drumming
The suppressed high end gives this mic a cool low-fi sound for vocals. Would be great for an intimate garage or bar band vibe, I think.
Hi from Latvia :)
I'm very impressed with what I heard. This mic could be very useful.
Did you need to roll off the lows a ton on the vox. The mic is bouncing around so much, I imagine it translating foot tapping a ton. Anyway to shock mount it, or is that twisting looking spine that connects to it a shock mount of some kind?
I've had the chance to try one of the on a few occasions. It sounded excellent as a vocal mic and did a pretty good job as a drum overhead but it sounded terrible on a guitar cabinet.
