Thankyou for your review! It's the best one I've seen for this mic so far, you're very honest and good at explaining :) Feel like trying the mic out now!
You're welcome! :-)
This review video is great. I like it!
I've been seeing this mic in quite a few ads. Cool to see a review on it :)
Thanks for watching!
Great review. Really versatile mic wow.. Thanks Chris..
You're welcome!
Sounds great, especially on the acoustic instruments...Love the cello and cajon especially.
Same here!
I love how neutral it sounds. Sounded great on everything!
Yes it did!
Wow. It really sounds well rounded but Pricey.
They put them on sale maybe twice a year
this is my next microphone i was gonna get the wa8000, 414xl iii, tlm 103, but this mic is $700 and sounds wayyyyyyy wayyyyyyy better than all of the mics I wanted to get I'd even go as far to say it can hold its own against the manley refrence and u87 ai if not has its own sound that should be priced way higher than 700 i've never heard anything sound like this at that price range. i've already looked at 14 different samples and demos and it confirms for me that its not a fluke or change in enviorment or even equipment this mic sounds good so i'm deffinently grabbing it before they shoot the price way up
Dare we say it will cover C800G duties? Outstanding sound.
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do
Selamın Aleyküm selim abi. Kıyak mikrofona benziyor.
Chris sorry for question not being related to the subject of the video but it's still recording and Cubase related. I would like to know your honest opinion as Cubase expert. What is your honest opinion about having DAW controller vs traditional keyboard + mouse (using with Cubase). I have in mind Steinberg CC121 but I cannot decide if it will improve my workflow making it faster and more enjoyable. I know controller is not necessary but is it worth it? Plus C121 is an old design and AI knob does not support eg. Waves plugins. What is your honest opinion about DAW controllers and C121 (despite being 10 years old) in particular? I don't know if to invest and get C121 (it's not cheap) or give it a miss if it's not tremendous improvement of my workflow. Thank you so much
It's not a must but I like working with one. I still work with the Presonus Faderport, the old one. I never worked with the C121, I'm not sure I would invest on something that is that old... check the Presonus new faderports, they have the single channel the 8 and 16 channels as well.
@@mixdownonline Thanks Chris, regarding Presonus Fadeport apparently many people had problems running it with Cubase
I think when demoing mics it's best to compare it to something else for a point of reference. A Neumann mic would have made for a good comparison IMO
I understand but I don't like doing so unless I really want to compare 2 specific mics. Even with Neumann, they don't all sound the same...A point of reference will not be the same for everyone. I'd rather show several different sources to mic with the same microphone so this way you can listen on how the mic reacts on different instrument. With that said, making a video on 2-3 different types of microphones (not as a review) could be a good idea.
How does this compare with BH 3 & V 11
How does this mic compare to the Colares Delphos 2?
The Delphos is a bit more colored and flat on the top end compare to the BH2 that will have more highs. They sound different
Autotune5 is not working in cubase pro 10 why pls help me
Because it's a 32 bit plug-in in a 64 bit DAW. Maybe buy it? ;) Auto-Tune is at 9 already.
Sounds lovely. Slightly out of my current price range though.... Oh well
Not a cheap mic
is it out for sale yet?
It's out, yes
Great on instruments, but I'm not sold for V/O.
you thing this is good for rap vocals?
Very popular for pop and R&B several other genre but it's like any microphone out there, it depends on the type of voice you have.
