Is it possible to customize what switches are available? Personally, I would like Logitech Romer-G, Razer Orange, or Cherry MX Brown, so I can have that tactile feedback.
They should do it. I love Nihongo but i am one of those who dislike v shape ergonomic keyboards. Oddly enough i also grew up as an ikjl player (right hand on the arrow keys/ikjl) which means the tilt would be very unnatural for me, i also got the mixbox 2.0 and its already perfect except for the 30mm buttons being too big. So hopefully they give us both tilted and non tilted option too and the 24mm buttons version.
The mixbox is all fun and games until you see the price tag: 349.99$ with shipping: 400$ have fun with a controller which is more expensive than the console itself (by the time you are seeing this, theres a big chance that i have already bought one myself)
John Dela Cruz it’s easier in some ways to bring a mixbox to a friend’s. Even playing on a PC. It’s easier to setup than keyboard. What if you both play keyboard? Tournaments will not run actual keyboards. Their price is ridiculous, though. It shouldn’t cost that much to put 4 mechanical keys to represent directions and the regular arcade stuff.
@@davida7229 it’s not cheap, because of the PCB, wiring harnesses, all the cables, Cherry MX Switches, Sanwa parts. Thing is they are expensive, because they will indefinitely last you forever.

I'd like to see a version with a space bar for jump instead of an up key since you don't have to share a finger for up and down. But I guess that's what keeps this out of hitbox territory.
Oooh, thats an interesting looking stick. If I were to give any suggestions, it would be: -Have another down button where your thumb would rest in respect the WASD buttons, kinda like a mini space bar. -make the cable detachable As for a bonus, they could allow for easier customization by inserting a button-switch that opens the system up like the MadCatz TE2+ or the Razor Panthera.
I took a look at their online shop and was quite excited when I saw the "Mixbox -12 Reverse Universal Edition". It's rare to see anyone make a reverse controller at all. It's still not the perfect controller for me, since I've grown up playing PC games with the keypad while laying my thumb on the down button instead of moving my middle finger around. I would need the down key to be slightly farther down than where it is so it wouldn't be such a tight squeeze when placing the thumb over it. I currently play on a custom controller made out of Sanwa buttons and a PS360+ PCB. The PCB does not have L3, R3 and definitely no Dualshock 4 touchpad. It has some funny input combinations to switch between D-pad and thumbsticks, which I'd love to replace with a physical switch, but can't. And it's biggest issue is that is uses a USB type B output, which is incredibly loose. I've disconnected during gameplay countless times just because USB type B connectors tend to fall out easily. On the other hand, the parts for my controller cost me less than $170. The Mixbox -12 Reverse Universal Edition costs $350, which is a lot more. Double tapping in Street Fighter isn't something that should be demonstrated with target combos. It's a technique to increase the chance of performing 1-frame links, which were very common in SF games up to 4. The most basic example would be hitting crouching medium punch twice with Guile. SFV replaced those with 3-frame links, which can be easily achieved by mashing fast enough. 15:57 I would love to see you draw your own Mixbox artwork. I think a tutorial on how to get everything the right size for printing would be awesome. 18:14 Ending the 360 with a diagonal up+back actually makes it harder and it forces you to rush the action. The best way is to do a half circle motion, going back to neutral and then hitting up and attack at the same time. For 720, I input up+forward, make one full rotation while in the air and then do the same thing I do for a 360.
I use a split keyboard that lets you put back together straight. While I usually keep it straight when typing, I love tilting the left side when gaming. Its way more relaxing to keep my hand in position.

Not a delivery error, as the case (the best aspect of the device) is metal. Though the case was terribly protecxted with loose torn pieces of polystyrene wedged in and around the box. Legit been wanting a MixBox for quite some times, as i play Tekken7 on pc. Inputting commands felt easier on keyboards for me, so the fact that mixbox uses cherryMX switches for the directions is an interesting deal. Thanks for the overview, NihongoGamer!
I have one. My biggest complaint is the use of 30mm buttons. They should use 24mm so it feels closer LIKE the keyboard its trying to simulate. The 30mm size basically rendered the furthest 2 buttons useless to me. Most keyboard users would be resting their 3 fingers on three buttons. I play on the hitbox, mixbox and fighting edge btw.
See I'm guessing you might have small hands because the 30mm buttons are one of the reasons I love my mixbox I used to play on keyboard when I was younger but my manhands make that uncomfortably cramped nowadays I can hit the the furthest buttons with my pinky finger easily plus it makes it easier for my brain to switch between the mixbox and a regular stick as the button layout is the same
@@DaRealJGRIF i don't think the hand size matters... I have huge hands and i prefer 24mm button for hitbox or mixbox style controller (even tho i mostly play with standard layout on classic sticks)
I feel like you can use your pointer and middle finger instead of your ring finger for either qcf or qcb. The only thing I'd be worried about is not realizing which key is the middle one, but they can just do what normal keyboards do with the F and J key on the home row for a physical piece to tell you which key you're pressing.
11:42 being a guitar player for 14 years hearing this convinced me to give this box a try when I can afford it. I feel like it would give certain musicians that play fighting games an advantage
Yeah the non universal mixbox 12 is $250, universal edition is $350, plus $70 shipping, and it takes like a month minimum to arrive. I bought one but only because I have a lot of disposable income and tekken is my hobby, but even I wouldn’t recommend it for the price. Just get a hitbox, might take a bit of getting used to but it’s effectively the same thing for less price. Not to mention you can beat the hell out of a arcade button, don’t know if the same can be said for a key switch. I don’t play sf so I can’t say what the mixbox is good for on that game, but in tekken, characters that use instant while running moves like dragunov have amazing consistency on mixbox. Conversely, characters like devil Jin, that need to input 2 buttons on the exact same frame, are better on hitbox. All in all though, the mixbox and hitbox are both basically perfect controllers for tekken at least, it just comes down to which you prefer.
So one thing about the angle is that it makes reverse hands a bit tougher. Some might switch hands when facing left to compensate for the ring finger weakness issue. I dunno how many people play reverse hands, but I have seen people do it for Metal Slug arcade machines and it doesn't seem too hard to learn.
If this uses a Brook, I believe you can do analog emulation through some combination of buttons to change the behavior of the directional keys. Wonder if when this is going to be available?
Me: I'm pretty bad at these types of games but the controller looks cool *NihongoGamer combos faster than the eye can see* Me: Oh I have to be God. That's probably why I'm bad
Just recently got my first arcade stick and modded it with sanwa parts and I love it, even with the learning curve that comes with a stick. I know I can do better with a pad but the fun experience I'm having with it far outweighs the difficulty of learning to play with a stick. I use it on PC because I am primarily a keyboard and mouse gamer because I'm mainly a first person shooter player than anything. I could really see this hitbox controller being really effective for someone like me with experience mostly with WASD controls. The angle of the keys looks like a much needed improvement. I play games like overwatch with my keyboard at a slight angle and having the buttons without an angle has an esthetically pleasing look but not very ergonomical. I agree that making the buttons higher up on the controller is a good idea. Maybe for the next version of the controller the ppl designing it can experiment with that. I really like the direction in which this controller is going and if the company can make a version at a bugdet price for us gamers with a tighter wallet I can see this as a buy in the future. Lastly I am a mechanical switch snob and the choice of cherry mx switches for the controller would be an awesome addition. I use cherry mx blue switches and having the choice for red, blue, brown, ect. Cherry mx switches would be great.
WOW! Does it really have Brook Universal inside? That's great because it is already legal at most tournaments and frequently gets firmware updates (recently added support for NeoGeo Mini for example) I'd like them to send one to Jasen's Customs so he can do a "breaking down the stick" video (he rates the ease of customizing sticks for modders)!
The Brook is a straightforward option and a recognised brand now so it's the obvious choice. As far as a teardown goes I'm not sure what you'd expect to see since Brook PCBs are designed to have very little assembly lol
I bought this for mortal kombat, because I enjoy how quickly and easily I can do special moves and cancels with the D-pad, and I enjoy the ease to pulling off combos with arcade buttons. I know keyboard arrows arent the same as a d-pad but they basically work the same. Except cherry switches are way more responsive than the stock dpad.
Yup I use WASD and then the number pad on the right for attacks. I definitely liked the MixBox, but I may be more used to wasd movement from years of PC gaming. It may take some getting used to for people who haven't done much gaming with a keyboard.
Hi Nihongogamer, it's been a month+ since you got your mixbox, have you use it extensively? What is your take for mixbox vs stick? I am in a dilemma as it is so expensive. And how easy to open the metal case to swap parts/replace faulty component? Thank you.
i build one a little bit ago like one that Daigo did that got banned recently, it probably should have no way for controllers to emulate that set up even wit a ps4 controller where they can use the joystick input as well. To compare the controller to his hitbox is like comparing apples to bricks.
They give people exactly what they want ? Well I want one of those arcade controller!! On a more serious note, I think that this controller look really good but the tilt looks a little bit scary because I can't really tell if I will feal confortable using one. As I recently started considering buying an arcade controller I might as well give this one a try!
I said this in another Mixbox video, but I would like to mention it again: More switch options. Most mechanical keyboards offer 3 or more switch options, so I would like to see Mixbox provide more than red switches, such as blue (my favorite) and browns.
Finally an Arcade controller for someone who always preffered Keyboard for fighting games. To be honest though, I would replace Sanwa style buttons with keys as well...
Do want. I've been trying to use a Fightstick for DBZF. But I've had a pretty bad time, even using a good stick. I think this is the bridge for me to get into fighting games. I've wanted a mixbox for a while, but it always looked a bit rough. This new one looks clean.
That is the perfect stick for me cause i am a pad player but i learned and actually liked and preferred the keyboard after i got used to it so im saying the game gods and mixbox has answered my prayers all i can say is it would be great if mixbox was donating a mixbox or sponsored gamers that are heavy keyboard warriors can get a shot with one of these great mixbox sticks(blue one ) so yes in short it would be great if they were donating to some special player ... Like me lol
My left hand doesn’t feel tired, but like any keyboard you need to be extra careful that you don’t tense up your arm since it’s in a fixed position for a long time
The Brook Universal is $100 by itself, I spent more than this building my own stick yet these guys did all the work so I think it is fair (not a bargain, but fair)
falconxblast Actually I’ve found the board for $80 online not a huge difference but it’s not quite 100. Plus the brooks works on 360, Xbox One, PS3/4, Switch and PC so def more bang for your buck.
15x Sanswa 30 + 4x Cherry Red = ~$47.50 And those are retail prices from Focus Attack, if they're buying bulk their unit cost would come down. So you're paying roughly $200 for the casing, R&D and profit margin. Up to you if that's a fair price to pay.
@@falconxblast it's fair, but it's a lot if that makes sense lol. Even the regular non-universal ones are more expensive than most standard sticks. That may still be reasonable for what it is you're getting, but it makes it harder to pull the trigger.
hey :D! i'm actually a keyboard player and believe it or not, i found a way around the problem with the ring finger XD. even tough it may look uncomfortable, once you get used to it, it really helps, and is actually changing the position of your fingers. that means to do a fire ball, i do from middle to index, BUT to do a backuards fireball, i actually do from index to middle finger. and the same with lots of motions. at this point i'm actually playing fighting games with only 2 fingers XD. i hope this can help you with your ring finger problem
It would be nice to have a stick/wasd button option like a modern thumbstick game pad has. Otherwise I still think the stick is the most versatile between character moves that need the half circle motions.
My only concern with something like the Mixbox is if the keys start to malfunction, how hard is it to replace them yourself? They Are soldered in, right? That would be one advantage of owning a Hitbox or traditional arcade stick over the Mixbox, from what I can tell.
Yeah they are soldered in. But you shouldn't be in a need to change the switches tbh. But if you want you can from one switch to another without needing to resolder, as you can just pop out the keys and take them apart and change the springs and such to fit your need.
Looks good, I really want to see the insides though. I seriously love the blue theme on this. If I had to suggest something, perhaps make it open like the Razer Panthera? And also, detachable cables.
Really love mix box and how innovative they are. And the tilted keys seem to be a very nice feature for better ergonomics Kinda wanna get one myself but I'm not very rich HOWEVER I can make one
once they release a version that you said with a farther key pad I might consider it since I play tekken 7 on keyboard and I would love to do kings chain throws with out memorizing 4 key binds to different buttons for 1+2 etc wince pressing 2 buttons at once on a key board so hard and dosent buff the input
Hey Nihongo Gamer. I was wondering where can I get replacements for the wires on the cherry switches? I have the original version of the mixbox arcade stick and I was attempting to mod the keys and one of the wires broke.
Sanwa has at least 2 versions when it comes to buttons that i know of. Standard and silent, the later which have a more firm and less noise making feel to it.
Say, I use arrow keys and ASDZXC for as my layout because my left hand fingers are not good with reverse motions, would that affect my performance on stick?
Just asking because switching is pretty much required as half circles are a real chore (I slide my finger across the keys, heh), and I don't think a reversed Hitbox or Mixbox has reasons to exist. Thanks for the answer.
@@mystic_guardian Mystic_Guardian The closest thing I've tried is a mechanical keyboard, and it worked well on right handed. Honestly I might just not have practiced enough with my left fingers, though it's the way I used to do it in the past. Trying different methods should be the best way to go. A stick seems to be a more universal solution, and pad is out of the question.
The cable is USB A not USB C so you're gonna need an adaptor which will make Brook's zero input lag redundant and that's once you've taken it out of tabletop because you can't access the USB C while it's standing up. If you have a wireless solution then I'm very interested to hear it though.
Never thought of using keys (as ive always used pad and stick alternately) but my general question is how do Z motions feel with the keys? Like..how does it even work?
The mixbox is cool. The biggest problem is the price. It cost around $320 to get one shipped to the US and that's for the base model. I can save over $100 if I get a hitbox instead.
These mixboxes seem really great, but that ring finger problem you mentioned would probably give me more trouble, despite me being trash at fighting games
Looks fine, can't really understand the difference from watching the video but it would be nice if they made one were you coud simply swap the angles to your personal favorite.
I thought these things looked super cool when you first showed it. But I didn't get one because of the angle issue from the previous iteration. I might have to buy one of these now. But one question. Are they going to add the tilted wasd to their Playstation/PC controllers? I was only able to find the store page for the one with the universal board and I would really prefer not to pay an extra $100+ for compatibility with systems that I will never play fighting games on.
I would love a mixbox stick like that, but the keys being on the right, i've always played fighting games with the arrows of the keyboard instead of WASD, it would be awesome
Very weird idead. What about using different types of switches for different feels. Like cherry mx, brown, blue. Let people go between a more tactile or soft sounding feel.
Thank you so much for the unboxing NihongoGamer ! It is Mixbox ‘s Honor all time !

Cherry mx switches would be great.
seemed strange but when you think about those split ergonomic keyboards it definitely makes sense
His videos rate the ease of swapping out buttons, customizing artwork, adding neutrik - basically all the stuff modders like to do to their sticks.
If you're interested in the case then it's the FightstickAsia Samurai, look at JonyFraze's video on it
Looks cool. I like the angle. Looks comfortable
Nihongogamer Dood! When's that colab with Max? 🤣
For QCB, I just move my fingers to the left so I press my pointer finger first, middle finger second. This makes reverse DPs a lot easier, too.
good unboxing. makes me wanna get one because i'm not used to the arcade stick's.....uh.... stick.
of all your fightsticks, which do you prefer in terms of comfortability for you?
Yup I use WASD and then the number pad on the right for attacks.
I definitely liked the MixBox, but I may be more used to wasd movement from years of PC gaming. It may take some getting used to for people who haven't done much gaming with a keyboard.
My dreams come true, mixbox getting popular
Hi Nihongogamer, it's been a month+ since you got your mixbox, have you use it extensively? What is your take for mixbox vs stick? I am in a dilemma as it is so expensive. And how easy to open the metal case to swap parts/replace faulty component? Thank you.
i build one a little bit ago like one that Daigo did that got banned recently, it probably should have no way for controllers to emulate that set up even wit a ps4 controller where they can use the joystick input as well. To compare the controller to his hitbox is like comparing apples to bricks.
I mean, it makes sense. Unless you stretch your arm out completely, your fingers will be at an angle. Doesn't look half bad.
I wonder if Mixbox is interested in making a fightpad. There seems to be a shortage of those for ps4 so I just use my hori fighting commander.
George Papandreou thank you so much for the suggestion
They give people exactly what they want ? Well I want one of those arcade controller!! On a more serious note, I think that this controller look really good but the tilt looks a little bit scary because I can't really tell if I will feal confortable using one. As I recently started considering buying an arcade controller I might as well give this one a try!
Where did you get the orange joycon in the thumbnail? So nice.
I would like the buttons a bit higher as Nihongo said, but I'm buying this thing as it is, I can play in both consoles... that's awesome.
R3 L3 should be where 8 buttons are. It could be 1 extra column next to R1 L1 or 1 extra row above R1 L1. :)
I said this in another Mixbox video, but I would like to mention it again: More switch options. Most mechanical keyboards offer 3 or more switch options, so I would like to see Mixbox provide more than red switches, such as blue (my favorite) and browns.
They need a version with the jump on a side like a hitbox. I use the spacebar in my keyboard to jump,
At that point why not just use a hitbox?
I think the Smashbox might be what you're looking for. I'm sure I've seen a mixbox layout with 24mms and a jump button for your thumb
@@sabin1997 I have looked into them as well, not sure how I feel about the up and down directions being swapped.
On this controller can you hold down and press forward twice to do a Dp like hitbox
Like me lol
didn't know there were people interested in something like this
What’s you best stick ? Your go to stick ? I want to get one , not sure what to get
Maybe if we can have selections for a MX cherry keys and mod grip keys like what most keyboards have i would probably buy one.
One question: do you feel your left hand more tired using the mixbox rather than a traditional stick?
My left hand doesn’t feel tired, but like any keyboard you need to be extra careful that you don’t tense up your arm since it’s in a fixed position for a long time
@@NihongoGamer thanks¡ I'm really interested in this device, I think I'll do some tests in my regular keyboard to see if I feel better than my gamepad
The only issue I have with mixboxes, is the price. These universal ones are $350.
The Brook Universal is $100 by itself, I spent more than this building my own stick yet these guys did all the work so I think it is fair (not a bargain, but fair)
350 is pretty cheap considering they have sanwas and cherry mx key switches and it's universal plus they aren't a huge company yet
falconxblast Actually I’ve found the board for $80 online not a huge difference but it’s not quite 100. Plus the brooks works on 360, Xbox One, PS3/4, Switch and PC so def more bang for your buck.
15x Sanswa 30 + 4x Cherry Red = ~$47.50
And those are retail prices from Focus Attack, if they're buying bulk their unit cost would come down. So you're paying roughly $200 for the casing, R&D and profit margin. Up to you if that's a fair price to pay.
@@falconxblast it's fair, but it's a lot if that makes sense lol. Even the regular non-universal ones are more expensive than most standard sticks. That may still be reasonable for what it is you're getting, but it makes it harder to pull the trigger.
why is this dude so talented wtf
surely in the next model they make it easier to slide from down to up maybe by having the up key slanted (idk how else i'd word that)
hey :D! i'm actually a keyboard player and believe it or not, i found a way around the problem with the ring finger XD. even tough it may look uncomfortable, once you get used to it, it really helps, and is actually changing the position of your fingers. that means to do a fire ball, i do from middle to index, BUT to do a backuards fireball, i actually do from index to middle finger. and the same with lots of motions. at this point i'm actually playing fighting games with only 2 fingers XD. i hope this can help you with your ring finger problem
It would be nice to have a stick/wasd button option like a modern thumbstick game pad has. Otherwise I still think the stick is the most versatile between character moves that need the half circle motions.
I'm actually very interested in getting one now
Are there other sticks like this that are easily cross compatible between Switch and PS4 (and hopefully easily connects to PC)?
Will the Mixbox Universal Edition work on Them's Fightin' Herds?
My only concern with something like the Mixbox is if the keys start to malfunction, how hard is it to replace them yourself? They Are soldered in, right? That would be one advantage of owning a Hitbox or traditional arcade stick over the Mixbox, from what I can tell.
Yeah they are soldered in. But you shouldn't be in a need to change the switches tbh. But if you want you can from one switch to another without needing to resolder, as you can just pop out the keys and take them apart and change the springs and such to fit your need.
I'm sure they'd replace them lol. This is an early product so I would expect a few malfunctions like that actually...
Looks good, I really want to see the insides though. I seriously love the blue theme on this. If I had to suggest something, perhaps make it open like the Razer Panthera? And also, detachable cables.
i am wanting to buy a mixbox but i am stuck between the stansard or 12 degree model any help?? thanks
I really like this new Mixbox.
As the Mixbox uses Cherry MX reds swapping the reds out for something else should not be an issue, right?
Really love mix box and how innovative they are. And the tilted keys seem to be a very nice feature for better ergonomics
Kinda wanna get one myself but I'm not very rich HOWEVER I can make one
BakaMangaka Thank you for the support!
once they release a version that you said with a farther key pad I might consider it since I play tekken 7 on keyboard and I would love to do kings chain throws with out memorizing 4 key binds to different buttons for 1+2 etc wince pressing 2 buttons at once on a key board so hard and dosent buff the input
I will buy. 2:08 Does it have that toxic plastic smell?
Hey Nihongo Gamer. I was wondering where can I get replacements for the wires on the cherry switches? I have the original version of the mixbox arcade stick and I was attempting to mod the keys and one of the wires broke.
Hi Derrick, Email has been sent you.
an adjustable angle for the keys would be great!
Buy a Mura Masher and you can drop it into your existing stick! This angle is probably close to optimal though
When is the 2.0 version coming with the angled WASD keys? Buying the regular MIX Box is pointless until we can get this 2.0 version.
You can normally adjust to different layouts within 1-2 months but whether or not you will improve is very subjective haha
Just asking because switching is pretty much required as half circles are a real chore (I slide my finger across the keys, heh), and I don't think a reversed Hitbox or Mixbox has reasons to exist. Thanks for the answer.
It sounds like you could use a hitbox honestly, every directional button is at your fingertips like a piano
Yeah there's a lot of options out there it just takes some patience to find the best one for you. Pads do deserve to be blacklisted though haha
You showed the Switch in tabletop mode in the thumbnail but that's not really possible with this stick lol.
It isn’t?
The cable is USB A not USB C so you're gonna need an adaptor which will make Brook's zero input lag redundant and that's once you've taken it out of tabletop because you can't access the USB C while it's standing up. If you have a wireless solution then I'm very interested to hear it though.
Never thought of using keys (as ive always used pad and stick alternately) but my general question is how do Z motions feel with the keys? Like..how does it even work?
[Spawn] what game would you like to play ?
@@mixboxarcade2432 I currently play Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7, UnderNight In-birth Late[st] and Skullgirls, with both stick and pad respectively.
The mixbox is cool. The biggest problem is the price. It cost around $320 to get one shipped to the US and that's for the base model. I can save over $100 if I get a hitbox instead.
Please make some artwork for it soon!!!
why dont they just make a mounting plate so you can turn it and lock it with a screw.
Nealry perfect. Now to be perfect they should try to build proper right-handed ones.
These mixboxes seem really great, but that ring finger problem you mentioned would probably give me more trouble, despite me being trash at fighting games
This looks totally legit. I might buy one. Maybe the d pad placement can be modded with a fiber glass knife.
Looks fine, can't really understand the difference from watching the video but it would be nice if they made one were you coud simply swap the angles to your personal favorite.
Light Reaper thank you so much for the suggestion
hi. whats brown and sticky? a stick.
I don't know how I've never heard this joke regarding controllers before lol. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Maybe put the keys on a part that you can spin and/or reposition. That way it would be able to change the positioning by taste.
Dewabarasunderan thank you so much for the suggestion
That's what the Mura Masher is for
How many times has he said this is amazing? And I believe him too
Lol yeah wasn’t til the edit later that realised how many times I said the same word. I had quite a good time!
I believe it’s pre-order for release sometime next month
Does the red mixbox connect to the switch or nah
I would love a mixbox stick like that, but the keys being on the right, i've always played fighting games with the arrows of the keyboard instead of WASD, it would be awesome
They make reverse versions too :)
NihongoGamer Thank you so much Nihongogamer!
hitbox is a better design but it still needs to be moved around a little to be ergonomic.
If you've played fps games on pc, that ring findee thing won't be a problem
Are the direction keys mechanical or membrane? Obviously the arcade buttons use micro switches so I'm curious if they went all in or cheaped out.
The directional keys are Red Cherry MX Mechanical Key Switches (4 WASD) and the arcade buttons are Japanese Sanwa Denshi Buttons (8-Function)
Damn you make me want to get one. Would keyboard be considered the fastest way to play fighters
It’s super fast but maybe for character with charge or 360 motions there are faster controllers out there
They should make a pro version of the tilt with it being larger like hori fighting edge
Isaiah Muhammad thank you so much for the suggestion
Very weird idead. What about using different types of switches for different feels. Like cherry mx, brown, blue. Let people go between a more tactile or soft sounding feel.
