On the ACA Neogeo games that are on the Switch eShop, there is actually an option to enable turbo on a software level for a button no matter what controller you re using, and i've been using it toggled on in AERO Fighters, works like a charm.
@@Dewabarasunderan the drone model is a little pricier than the f300, but the quality is better (buttons are easily replaceable so that's not an issue)
I ended up buying this stick as my first fightstick, and I love it so much that I've already modded it with Sanwa parts. I'm really thankful for this review, as it gave me the final push to finally buy my first fightstick. Thank you NihongoGamer! Love your vids btw 💖
@@olivermirez6667 At first, there wasn't a big noticeable difference with the buttons. This was my first fightstick after all so I didn't really know what 'quality' buttons felt like. After sometime though it would click two times instead of one, and in pro play that would that would probably be real bad. Changing the stick however was a big relief for me. The Qanba stick kept giving me misinputs like going diagonal instead of left or right, and it pissed me off quite a lot. Sanwa is just a lot more responsive and is just an overall better stick. All in all if you're thinking of getting this or the normal Qanba Drone Stick, get ready to spend some money on Sanwa parts. Modding isn't that bad, it was pretty fun for me actually. It also gave me more of an attachment to my stick because I got to choose the colors for the buttons and stick. I love my stick more now after modding it honestly. I hope this helped you somehow. :D

It is really loud, but I'm really happy because I feel like playing fighting games with an arcade stick is even more fun. I plan to change the buttons for some sanwa, hope works out!
The quanba drone is a good introduction stick. I been using mine for 7 months now and it's still great. I did replace the Joystick and buttons with Sanwa parts later on bit it's still good. The default version is 60$ on Amazon guys. I recommend it if you want to try out sticks. It's a steal guys.
Clickyness is a good way for you to confirm that you've pressed a button. Imagine if you couldn't hear the button at all you'd be worse at the game. Try one of the Logitech silent mice and you'll not be very happy about it unless you're looking for that clicking in silence type of work.
It is the same design as Qanba Drone. You can get a new one at $55 from eBay (while the official price is $79.99). It doesn't have touch pad, making some games troublesome. But this is a good stick for fighting games; and it is super easy to mod it (You pay another $30 for Sanwa stick and buttons).
That is a good starter stick, id suggest picking it up on amazon or newegg when on sale it goes for 40 dollars it has the bee pattern on it. You can upgrade the stick and buttons for an extra 40-50 bucks to sanwa (first wear them off) Unless you need or want the official artwork buy that model at 100+. If not just buy your own artwork whilr buying the stick and buttons they go for 7-15 bucks
You should look into some converters to test out sticks that work with the Switch in docked AND undocked modes! I have an Xbox 360 Qanba q2 pro that I've been using with an N100 converter for my Switch! Works in both docked and undocked modes!
I've been watching your videos for the last few days and have become quite addicted.. The funny thing is that I don't even own a fightstick but have started looking for one.. Cheers..
Just a clarification about the PC side. Steam offers a a mode called "Steam Big Picture Mode" which can pick up a wide variety of controllers with some built in drivers. It supports PS4, Xbox, Switch and 'Generic' on top of Steam controllers. This can be found in Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings. Note that if steam detects a controller it will boot the game in Steam Big Picture mode. To know if its active, you will see a blue Big Picture mode UI pop up instead of the default Steam one. The downside is that some games dont run well with Big Picture and you cant disable it on a per game basis, meaning you have to constantly enable and disable support for you controller depending on what game you play.
Yeah you can basic mod it, but there are limitations. I have a quanba drone and I install Sanwa parts, but not all parts can fit. for example, Hyabusa JLF joystick won't fit because it's too big.
These things go on sale for cheap a lot. I got one for 50 bucks on newegg. I gutted an old madcatz fightstick pro I had and put all those parts in it, really happy with it. Sometimes I don't feel like dragging out my big heavy panthera, I just reach over and pick this up with one hand.
Okay yeah, I figured as much after looking at the thumbnail, but it's a Drone, with a paint job. Nothing wrong with that. Picked one up on a special while I was attending KIT for $50 and it's a solid little stick. ETA: Also can confirm that it does indeed work on PC, when it's in PS3 mode for some bizarre reason it reads as an Xbox controller , which is nothing but a good thing.
i used to watch a lot of your videos but I've just been going with life and stopped for a while I was very excited to see you on the Doki Doki Drawing video! I hope that you are doing well
Would def love to see a Mayflash F500 review. You can throw Sanwa and Seimetsu parts on it all day and allows for custom artwork which I know you are familiar with. Works on PC, PS4, and now Switch with the recent update.
i use the Mayflash f500. what do you guys think of that stick, if you've ever used it before. personally, i love it and want to mod it, but if i ever save up the money i'd get the qanba obsidian. it's my dream stick
I've been looking for my first stick and I'm stuck between the f500 and this BBCTB Drone, since they're both around $80. I like how the f500 seems easier to customize/mod and looks sturdier, but you don't need to connect a controller with the Drone and also it has a lock function.. Not many reviews on the f500 tho, so how do you like it so far, after actually using it for a while?
Yet another of those kinds of controllers, you really like them especially the different versions with different art on the controller. Hope that one day sony can make the ps5 work like a hybrid console. They will be using 2020 technology which is more powerful than what is currently present in the ps4. The ps4 also uses laptop kind of internal hardware so there no reason for sony engineers to mess up the ps5. I would prefer attachable accessories for the purposes of backwards compatibility and that they can make games on microsd card like cartridges much like the switch. This is why there are accessories for the backwards compatibility so that you can get and attach an optical drive, a psp drive, a ps vita dual slot accessory with both vita games and memory cards to be usable in there while the console itself will also have a regular microsd card slot.
Neoxon And it's easy to swap those buttons and lever out. But I am sure the qanba parts aren't that terrible. They will probably be fine for someone new to arcadesticks.

take the screws out the bottom and the cable is removable and they sell them online i have a Q1 so i already looked in to it :)
Wait, I see there are notches on the back and bottom of the stick, looks like the clamps from the Q1 is compatible with the N1
