These poor children. There was abuse from the very beginning with CPS involved as his sister’s earliest memory 💔
All of them were abused! She knew she could use this one child! He never showed disobedience She knew she could use his as a scape goat! She forgot about technology! Without it She would be free and a Son in prison for life!
Hearing the two siblings speak just broke my heart, especially when the older brother spoke brought tears to my eyes.

And she has the nerve to fight the $5000.00 cost for the county to bury her son.she personifies evil.

it struck me while listening the the judge pronounce the sentence how beautiful the snow falling out the window was and this beauty is never to be seen by this poor boy. As a mother my heart aches.

The court's statement before the sentencing was spot. When he then proceeded to display Tim's picture on the bench was so so powerful.
Its so aweful that sometimes we have a tendency to not realise how much we love someone, and then show them that, until they're gone. My heart goes out to Timothy's siblings.

She was able to hide behind her lawyer from the cameras - then in the end she couldn't even apologize - She did not shed one tear for Timothy. The rage she must have brought upon Tim must have been so horrible. It is unimaginable to think of the pain Timothy endured for weeks of her torture - Tim I know your now in a beautiful place in heaven where you can be free, happy, and loved.

Paul should be treated like a child soldier even if he’s more than 18 years of age. I saw his interrogation video and he compared his experience with his father and mother. He attested that he was treated better by his mother, which says a lot: his father also abused him.
Paul needs rehabilitation, not prison-time.

They need to go after the father next because from what I read, she was never supposed to have Timothy full-time. It was supposed to be under parental supervision, and he just gave him to her…since he’s an abuser as well go after him too.
Totally agree! He should be arrested for child neglect, child abuse and court contempt. Shanda lost her custody of all her children and instead of sending Timothy to the State or relatives, he sent him back to her.
I agree about Paul. He should get a short sentence. You can tell he still has a soul, unlike his mother. I am sure the court will show him mercy.
Yes, everyone should watch Paul's interrogation. It's clear that Paul is autistic, as well as it is clear that he was manipulated by his mother and is easily led by others, as the detective interrogating him was also easily able to lead him. Paul's entire reality was framed by Shandra Vanderark and all he wanted to do was please his mother/be a good son. Paul is a victim too.

Not Vinny's fault, but if there was a defense or a plaintiff's attorney, they very rarely want to have a lawyer as a jury member. I'm sure it happens just never from someone that does a show about legal topics.
Vinny was a juror for a civil, not a criminal trial.

This is heartbreaking. I feel bad when I yell at my babies. I could not fathom torturing them. Heartbreaking. Timothy mattered.
Heartbreaking - I live in Michigan and I feel so badly about this. I'm not too fond of goodbyes too. Poor little guy. Why are people so evil - I am so sorry this happened to him. I wish I could have helped him despite not knowing them. I am a paralegal and I have a specialty in family law. I keep thinking.,... the Best Interest of the Child... where did those guidelines go in this case?
She also worked for justice ⚖️ which shows that you can't trust anyone. As long as have Satan as the government of this world worse things will be seen. The only way is when Jesus Christ takes control. Chapter 12 Revelation explains why there is so much evil in the world.

I think this is an example of narcissistic scapegoating one child. Which i don't understand, why anyone behave this way.

I agree. In terms of a possible explanation few people would be capable of ab-sing and torturing a child as she did to Timothy, and her behaviour strongly suggests Sadistic Personality Disorder (SPD). Individuals with SPD hold extreme disdain for others with special needs who they'll target for particularly horrific and sadistic treatment as she did with Timothy; that by no means justifies anything she did albeit helps explain it.

Even at the end she got to get her lawyer to cover her face as being sentenced and scrubbing on paper, she is uninterested! The thought that a smart woman like that would get away with this! Her enjoyment of doing this is what took her down! Every text message every video! The scary part is how many parents out there are doing the same and are smarter than her! It's Scary! People please check on your loved ones stop in once a month and look at your Loved Ones If you are denied call 911 immediately! I believe this could have been prevented! Make laws that children home schooled have to be seen by a cop, fireman or social worker once a month! Let's make it a Law! Timothy's Law!

As someone who grew up in cps care our deepest fear as children wasn't being separated from our mother, the reason we put up with her abuse was the fear of being seperated from each other as siblings. My heart broke for them both and Timothy when his brother said he hated to say goodbye and would cling to them. A mother shouldn't bond her children through trauma and fear. I hope that woman burns in hell.

It makes so much sense that that child hated to say goodbye to any other family member or visitor because he knew that he would then be stuck home alone with mom and the torture would continue.

There was no other sentence that she is worthy of. She tortured that boy. That’s horrible. Paul should also be sent to prison for a long time. Although he was being abused too. He shouldn’t have done what his mother asked to his BROTHER!
I tend to agree he should get some prison time. He could have alerted authorities any time and after all he was an adult. Having said that I do believe he is remorseful unlike his Mom
