Nice to get the insights when it's fresh in everyones mind, and Jacob absolutely killed it as announcer this weekend. Lots of interesting facts and analysis on the fly, really elevated the show.

The new format was amazing and the broadcast team did an awesome job. The level of driving was impressive and what a great showing by the rookies.

with James and Conner the best battles I've seen is when they running their drift missiles on a fun day, I havent seen another motorsport where the drivers seem to be friends above competitors.
Loving this. The Drivers are the focal point and getting all of their thoughts and stories are great.

Deane is class, I'm a big fan so I am bias in that regard and wanted him to win no matter what and more so after the week he had. However Odi and Simon also drove so well and if either one of those were to have won I wouldn't have been upset. Some good stuff this round. Really like the seeding bracket too.

Has the draw been done for round 2 seeding yet? Minowa was the only driver below Vaughn to win in top 32 so Vaughn should only move down one place to 23rd right?
love the fact we know the positions, but the rnd2 Atlanta page isnt up yet? (I've worked it out myself but would be good to get confirmation)
Plus I thought we were going get the round winner (James) to draw the number for the Atlanta seeding bracket? or has that been done and its just not public yet?
We did it on the podium with Deane for PRO and Hobson for PROSPEC.
not tryna be a hater but the Tuerek Shanahan call was complete bullshit
I may do a stand-alone video on my channel explaining it a bit better.
Judge sport should be like any other judge sport in the world-soon as decision made via video etc and call made who won that’s final even if it’s a mistake should own it and take on chin not change outcome 2-3h later, never see this in boxing, rugby, football, Olympics etc list goes on once call made that’s it. 💁
@SMTMOTORSPORT what about Baseball? That decision for an out or a strike is a judged call but can be overturned once reviewed. Hockey is the same. I am sure there are other sports. Hopefully my explanation in a video cam help with this. I understand where you are coming from but in the act of trying to correct a wrong, more people are upset that they tried to fix a mistake?
@@jacobgettins If Conor and his whole team have posted saying that they’re disappointed with the call (basically saying it’s bullshit) i’m siding with them seeing as they drift the battles and are now deep into the inside of FD. I trust the pro driver over a pro judge any day.
@Xugop but what if Ryan's team was saying the opposite and for the record. This wasn't the judges making the call. This was the race committee that decided to get them to run again.

I used to hate Jacob because he sounded like he's been smoking weed his entire life, but ever since he joined Jarod at the commentary tower, with his insight and knowledge, suddenly I feel like his voice isn't that bad.

Gotta be honest...the judges from the FD Japan are way better.
Here i feel like they're too inconsistent and sometimes it looks like they have their favorite ones...idk if thats due to sponsorship or not. But that kinda ruins it for me.
As someone who is new to the organization and the person who sits behind them, I can say that there really isn't any bias. You have to remember that this round only had 1 judge, that was from last year. Of the new judges, one is an instructor and a long-time grassroots advocate, and the other is from Drift Master, Oman, Saudi and other series. I am happy that the fans are passionate about the sport but I can say without a shadow of a doubt none of that is going on.
