For up and coming drivers or amateurs looking for someone to emulate, look no further than Conor. He along with other FD drivers are examples of hard work, determination and passion; all attributes you need to become successful in the sport. This is a 20 year old with the maturity of a veteran.

So incredibly well spoken. Especially all the things he said about the fans' negativity towards judges and drivers. I didn't know a whole lot about Conor before this but now all I can say is wow. Next weekend can't come soon enough!
Yeah he was a great interview, it was hard to knock him off his PR game but I honestly think that this is just the way he is.

coming from gaming, left foot braking is definitely preferred for chasing if you can slow down the car enough. its just way more stable whereas you see the surging effect when people handbrake in chase. left foot braking also lets you maintain angle better in the chase, while handbrake causes more of a loss in wheel speed and generally means a reduction of angle afterwards. Its nice to hear someone talking about this.
left foot braking also allows the turbo to stay in boost... its huge... look up brake boosting technique, it's a cheat for rolling drag racing
@@schassis_eddibrake boosting requires you to hold the car back while on throttle with the brake. Left foot braking won’t have the same effect

@@driftaddictbr Conor confirmed here he'll be in a LHD car, unless I misheard? Last I knew, I believe as of last year when Piotr was building the A90, there was one Worthouse car in the US that was supposed to go to Europe around 2020 but never made it out of port. Would not be surprised with any of these guesses, but I would be most worried for the field if RTR is involved.

@@chrissmith8072I was thinking Odis car, but odi did say he’s only running two cars this year already, so I’m thinking romes e36 is a viable option. But we shall see next week! lol

He said that hes driveing chassis that he has never drove, so odis cars arnt option because he has driven s chassis. I think its mazda and rotary😊
Hate to say it but F1 grew in the US a lot due to Drive To Survive on Netflix. If FD had that type of engagement audiences could enjoy away from event day, that would increase interest a lot. It also needs to be on a widely consumed platform like Netflix, Hulu, etc because there's already a generally interested audience browsing for things to watch. Eyeballs bring sponsors.
100% the Netflix effect is real; there will be something that happens that helps the series pop off in the eyes of the general population.
The way idc had the pro sport guys step up to pro on the same weekend was honestly the best as far as any national championship for grooming the up and comers.
Also their old man is everything everybody loves about drifting. He was always as entertaining on the idc live stream as the driving on track

I’ve never been, but If I remember correctly, I think tickets start at about 40 bucks when I did look into it last year. I think they are on ticket master.

So he says that people aren't going to expect who he's driving with and that whoever it is understands drifting more than anyone. So who could that be???
Vaughn & RTR may have conflicts due to the Monster/Red Bull situation, but James and Adam weren't sponsored by Monster and still drove for RTR so that is a bit odd.
Forsberg would have the same sort of conflict due to NOS.
Papadakis would as well due to Rockstar.
I dont think Field still has the S14 around, but that would be the only extra car he has that'd be competitive so that probably rules out the Drift Cave
Rome will have a second car, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise being Conor drove his car at the Wisefab event so it doesn't seem like it'll be him.
Kearney would be a surprise and has the Irish angle, but I don't think he has a spare pro car.
Odi does have a third car, but I think they said they were dialing it back to two cars now that Ben was gone.
To me the Feal team makes the most sense, but I still think it could be a different team. It'll have to be one of the larger established teams in my mind in order for Conor to be able to do an "arrive and drive" situation so that doesn't leave a ton.
Edit: He says the engine setup is different than what he is used to. So that means the car is not a JZ car more than likely, or maybe not an inline 6 at all, so LS then?

@@chrissmith8072 With as often as he mentions Rome and the fact that he said he's going to still be a big part of creating the team, Rome makes about the most sense.
It's definitely gonna be a v8 or v10 if it's a viper
