Nice attachment. Make sure when “pushing” the jaws are either all the way closed or that the teeth are clamped on the tree. If it’s not closed on the tree tightly you can bend the cylinder.
Just got a versa bracket from these guys, I had some issues with the shipper but it was totally on me, I didn't read all of the details on there website. When all said and done it didn't matter, I was ready to complain about good works tractors and say f them but after contacting their costumer service department honestly I would order from them again as soon as I need something that they carry. I couldn't be more satisfied. Great group of folks up there in Michigan, thank you for everything. 5 start all the way.
Wow that thing is impressive. That would be very useful. Great job demonstrating. Get out and just do it. I would have done the same thing. Learn as you go. Thanks Len.
Had to chuckle at the beginning when you said something about “I think I do this…”. Didn’t read the manual, I suspect🤣. Looks like you had a fun day in the woods. Now all you need besides the fire wood machine is a sawmill…and Bob’s your Uncle
Watching this is making me want to get a compact track loader. Using this sort of attachment on a larger-frame compact tractor can end up making the the loader arms flex/twist from some of the the side loads if the tree isn't cleanly lined up in the center of the jaws/center of loader lift (in addition to being much more limited in lifting/curl capacity). The reduced visibility of a tractor obviously making a good line up & grab a bit harder as well. Still I've found they work well for removing fence posts, smaller trees and bushes even with the loader on my Kubota L3560. ....would still like to try one on the 3pt using a hydraulic top link though. ....and am very glad I got the one I did a few years ago seeing at it looks like it now costs ~1.5x what I paid then ...which is just crazy (even if understandable).
Looks like your making great fun progress... I've been pulling up those large climbing vines by the roots and just letting them tops die out prior to pulling down, just two two many rhino canopy saves last year. Make sure the larger trees you pull out are completely on the ground afterwards. Two weekends ago a dead leaning pine tree came down slamming onto my rops which was in the rearwards position, it lifted the front of the tractor with grapple a few inches off the ground. Have the pics on my phone to share. Anyhow take care and be safe out there.
looking good, Here I sit and work controls with you, pushed and root ripped many on my own ,had to laugh at myself finding myself shaking the dirtball. Thanks
Great video on a super multi use attachment. You def learned a lot thru the day using it. Pro tip……. Always push down hill with the machine if you can and let gravity help with the extraction. It will work much better by being able to utilize the full weight of the machine plus the added gravity effect moving Dow hill. Enjoy the puller you will find a 1,000 uses for it👍🔥
Bad ass attachment. Digging around the whole tree cutting as muck root, then rocking before you pull would be easier on the equipment as a whole. My 2 cents. :)
Courtney you might set up a link to Precision since they have so many options. They have some other items they could order from you that would be more applicable to compact tractors
Wow that 333g is a beast. Wish I could get a tracked skid steer to my property. I need to do a similar job in much denser bush with much rougher terrain. Will be a lot slower going with my chainsaw and Stump grinder on my B7610 but it's what I have so it's the best tool for the job for me. Still want to get a Stump bucket for my 1025r if i can make it down to you or if you get something worked out for shipping to Canada.😁 Great video as always.
that's impressive. you certainly got better on that Could these trees be replanted? Obviously with a chain saw they're dead but this might be a good way to replant some of the trees for landscaping in other areas.
i might be wrong but it definitely looked like you were getting your best pulls when you pinched the tree and rocked it; driving back and forward. Just pulling straight up looked like it was too much for the hydraulics alone.
Great attachment. My only criticism is that the saw feature on the right side seems to be a waste. If you have to cut the tree, it strikes me that it would be quicker to hop out of the skid steer and grab a chain saw.
I think that tree🌲 🎄 what's payback sure that tree isn't a Ent, you could call that area fangorn forest. That's some piece of equipment look like you having a blast out there. 🙂 🤣😂
Frozen underneath and muddy on top. Probably the toughest scenario for pulling a tree out of the ground. I'd like to see what that thing could do when its dry on top and wet below.
My dislike of vines is hard to overstate. Doesn't matter if they're grape, honey suckle, wait-a- minutes, cow itch, or poison Ivey. They always make tree work 2-3 times harder and at least 3 times as dangerous. Speaking of danger, how stable was the machine when you had the trees up vertical and were moving around with them? Any side to side tippiness? How about forward or backward? I was impressed by how easily the machine seemed to handle the big trees, though.
Got to watch if you're working with dead trees. Sometimes, you will break them off 20, 30, 40, or more feet up off the ground. I don't know how much that cab could take with a thousand pounds of tree dropping from high up above you. Does look like fun. Be careful; don't kill yourself.
I just picked up a Danuser Intimidator this weekend and dug and yanked my first massive OAK stump out of our culdesac yesterday It was 2’ diameter at the base before I started working on it. I replaced a Titan attachment with this model. With the P.O.S. Titan And a Svl95, I was yanking 9”-12” trees standing 50’-75’ tall.
I got a chainsaw that will saw it if I wanted too do that faster..Dont understand the purpose of that in anyway. The purpose of tree puller is too pull tree`s... Mine is home built and works awesome on my Bobcat T770
Try digging and rocking it from both ways while lifting up on the larger ones. Just got to watch what the top of the tree is doing. Widow makers ain't fun, even with a cab. Maybe invest in the poly door and roof protection if you plan to do this stuff fairly often. Not saying you need the entire forestry protection, but a big enough limb will spear straight through the roof. Nobody wants to see you all jacked up in the hospital man, that ain't good content.
So it’s a stump bucket with a claw. Claw and brute up force only worked on small saplings. Almost $5k for this seems like a lot. But skid steer guys got money and this is marketed towards them
No disrespect here but proper technique makes all of the difference. This attachment is so much more capable than what this video demonstrated. Picked up a Danuser Intimidator this weekend to replace my crappy Titan tree/post puller. I am NOT a Titan Attachments fan!!! I feel as if their implements are imported garbage. The tree puller from them is not built half as nice as this unit but I was destroying trees with it. So this puller has so much more potential that’s not there in this video. With the Titan POS I was yanking 9”-12” trees 50’-75’ tall clean out of the ground with proper technique. If it could do it, this model definitely can. By the way, I never start at the base of the tree. I grab it 6’-8’ off the ground and Rock it from front to back first before even adding upward thrusts.
@@thetractorden6189 none taken, what kind of machine you using? I have a 4044r and need to do quite a bit of tree clearing. I’d love for this to work as described for sure. Sound like you have had great success with yours.

Pretty close to a treecat! I’ll give it to ya! Sweet attachment and it takes the stump with it which is a nice bonus.

Now, take a tree shear attachment and cut the trees up into manageable lengths to move with the grapple. Great job for a first use.

You got some Tarzan vines in your woods!
If you get the chance, can you highlight Precision's Post Driver?
i might be wrong but it definitely looked like you were getting your best pulls when you pinched the tree and rocked it; driving back and forward. Just pulling straight up looked like it was too much for the hydraulics alone.
I noticed the same thing. Once the tractor got mud int he tracks id din't seem to matter.

That's great but I think my little Kioti CK2610 would have a little trouble working it.
That would be nice if they made one that would work well with a 40HP compact tractor.

Pretty cool beats my 5055e JD trys to flip on me doing this kind of stuff..
Walk onto the tree as low as you can get put pressure up and rock the machine back-and-forth it’ll come right out
lol thank you mr know it all
I'm sure it works well with any hardwood tree. Pine trees are a different story.
Good tool but it needs the tip caved in like a U shape. That would greatly help dig into the ground to break up roots. The cage is actually too large.
Wont work on my lil 1025R ?? 😭😆😅😂

Very specialized, wouldn’t work for me. I’m sure some guys would love this.
Hhhhmmmmm... seems to me if you're doing this sort of work with any frequency, wouldn't an excavator be a better choice?
Like pulling teeth. (Molars)

a chain saw.
