That was my situation. After considering different pieces of equipment, for a loader mount unit. I chose the Danuser. It's perfect, I now can pick and pull what trees to get rid of, with little, to no damage to my fruit trees. Great video, and love the shear w/the dogs!
Great attachment, here’s some advice tho, instead of pulling the tree back, push forward. Then you have to worry about damaging your machine if the tree falls on it. Also you get better power forward than backwards. Great video
Man skid steer Equiment has came a long ways. Now I’ve work on industrials and dirt equipment for years. But the past 15 years skid steers has change there game. Some of the attachments you guys get are mind blowing.
If your elm trees are like the ones we have around here, if you leave the stump they will grow back from the stump. So pulling them like you are is best course of action. Another awesome demonstration, thank you for sharing this with us.
You are so blessed to have a quality rental company so close! Great Plains Rents / Kubota sales has certainly help Ed you and your homestead clean up some areas.
Great video Daniel. I can relate when you talk about being "in the wrong profession" when it comes to operating equipment, especially a skid steer with attachments like you have been using. I absolutely love it as well. It's literally like a kid in a candy store. Glad you're able to have a place close that rents equipment like that that you can "play" with and still get some work done on the farm. Keep it up and have a great time enjoying this spring weather. I'm in Utah and it's starting to feel like spring here as well.
@@treypayne43 oh I know I have 2 children who are adults now. They never wanted to get up lol. In fact my son is still that way at 33 but not my daughter she gets up at 3 a.m. and at work by 5 a.m
My first thought was "he's going to have so much fun, he won't even think it's work." Now all you need is a big chipper. Look at all the mulch you could make out of those trees. I'm jealous. I love using cool pieces of equipment. One place I lived, I used my riding mower to reclaim pasture land. It was completely overgrown with blackberries. Every few days I'd go out and mow a bit more. I think I managed to reclaim about an acre. I actually worked my way out of a place to live, because the landowner could get more rent from someone who wanted to farm or needed pasture for livestock.
I like that. It doesn't take a lot of dirt, just the roots. Seems like that would save time filling in the hole. I'll bet your chore was enjoyable using that equipment.
When I tell you watching your family Dynamic is such a joy, you are a example of what a real father and man should look like, you take care of your children, you take care of your property take care of your Wife and make sure all under your care are safe. You can be very proud of yourself. Beautiful family
Wow! To be able to rent such great machines is wonderful for so many small farms and homesteads! My husband is so jealous of all the fun your having. Even clearing a fence line would be so worth the rental. Those small stumps are forever popping tires, hanging up equipment on or flipping them. People who don't live in Oklahoma need to check out their local distributors to see if they participate! Did you give any of those Cedar trees to your goats? So many of them love to eat it and the kids play on them too.
Shew buddy I'd love to have that skid steer on our place.....I'm not so sure it would work on our tall trees here in NC. Funny I have a tree sheer video coming out this weekend! Great vid brotha ...thanks!
I SO need to rent one of these for a weekend - both attachments! I cleared all the pines off of my completely forested lot (2010) and decided to give the oaks and elms and other trees time to breathe before I made anymore cuts. Now, I've got some fantastic trees out there, but after 10+ years, some are still scraggly sticks and I need them gone. There's a lot of them though and there's only me, and I've only just started learning how to use a chainsaw.
Hey Daniel just calm yourself you are having way too much fun with the Kubota Intimidator you could probably go all day clearing out shrubs and trees without taking a break or having lunch just conserve some of your energy for the next project so what's next for the Arms Homestead keep up the good work and see you in the next video 🤔😳🚜🌳😉
W O W ! The Intimidator is a perfect name. It's amazing but still need that monster chipper to chop up what you cut and/or dug up to make mulch or wood chips. W O W.
I own the intimidator and run it on my cat track loader. It truly is amazing. I have used it to push down a huge 20" oak that was sitting where our house is going. Another great video brother!
Mr. Daniel this a great Machine. Could we get this machine in Chicago. Am sure my pastor would love to have it round the church. Lots of trees around here. He doesn't look at video. But I look at most of your videos & I love all them. Must share with my pastor. Thank You for sharing. Be Blessed ♥️🙏🙏
I do the same thing with a 32hp Ditch Witch mini track steer and a subsoiler on the front. I've taken out trees as big as an 8" diameter cherry. Can do saplings all day.
I gotta say it again Daniel - Wow! WOW!🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲 Amazing toys! Now go get your axe and just look at it and reflect...that's what our fore fathers cleared land with! Technology has TRULY evolved! Thanks for sharing and you camera angles were spot on! 👍🏽

Daniel those machines are impressive! You do have lots and lots of small trees. You could fix your pasture up big-time with the Kabota. Get rid of all your cedars and thin those elm trees.

Recently got a New Holland C245 CTL, and it is literally a beast on brush and trees with the intimidator! I take out much larger trees.. 12-16" oaks regularly.
