Thank you for posting an update Ryan. Having noise induced Tinnitus brings lots of guilt and depression, especially after making it worse by continuing to live my previous lifestyle. Took too long to realize the seriousness and accept it. You are right, when i go outside/spend time with my kids i cope with it a lot better. Hopefully the Susan Shore Device brings some relief.

@@robval7465 Hi, It was very hard work, did several things but was worth it, Food, Only water (litres a day) nothing else at all. Beef liver, medium cooked( contains alot of vitamins) daily, not to much as can cause headaches, Salmon fish, Grilled chicken (no spices at all, spices are very bad for Tinnitus), other types of fish (can fry them in olive oil if you want), steaks, or other kinds of red meat(no marinade or spices(grilled), mint tea few days a week. Exercise: went to the gym, grounding at the back garden, avoid use of mobile phones near ear ( I had hyperaccusis as well), so could not put phone near ear, only watched a little T.V with low volume. Cjanged my sleeping pattern (this also helped alot, because if I started sleeping late, during recovery it would slighlty come back. No stress, avoid horro movies (lol..watch happy movies) have someone massage your head, it really relaxes the brain. Fried eggs for breakfast with runny yellow, dont eat boiled eggs. Avoid greens, they made it worse as well. Switched of my broadband at night, avoid magnetic waves. Also watched positive videos of Liam Boeh,, got free advice from his videos. Also very important, I did dry fasting 3 times a week as well as intermittent fating, just drinking water. I honestly did not think it would work but OMG, it worked, lost alot of wait but worth it. Also no salt, very bad for Tinnitus. Literally lived cave man style and it was so worth it, my hyperaccusis is gone. Now I can listen to music, play PS5, watch T.V more. I felt like suicidal sometimes and was angry watching people say on the internet it will go away by taking this approach. Honestly, I was so desperate that I would try anything but the science behind makes sense. Within few weeks, I got up and for a few seconds heard nothing, I kept thinking, impossible. After the few seconds it came back, but slowly it moved away from the center part of the head, then started bouncing in different areas of the head which then went to my ears like hissing kettle, so it left my head. It was such a good feeling and when I went outside, I could actually hear the birds, traffic etc and more silence. It is very hard to give up everything but it worked. No junk food at all, no caffeince, no sugar, no cereals and only what I listed. It was the most upsetting part of my life, ENT and dcotrs were crap, I did not want to cope and habituate like most people kept on saying. Bro if you want to get better try it. But you must also get as much sun as possible. It is curable. This guy on the internet I watched, he had it for 20 years, scared the hell out of me, but later found out he cured it. Guess what he did, decided to cut sugar, bread etc all junk food. So basically he could not stop his eating habbits. If you do not do this, Im afraid you will live with it but if your desperate like me to be normal, just do it.

MD isn’t really a “disease” it’s a series of symptoms. Address the specific symptoms and you will find most people resolve the worst of the problems. Nerve damage is best treated with a hearing aid one or both ears. It washes out the tinnitus and will resolve that “fullness” sensation. Also hearing aids stimulate the nerve and in many cases people actually improve their hearing over some frequencies. A low inflammation diet seems to dramatically improve symptoms. Low sugar low salt.

Guys to say you cant cure tinnitus and maneates disease is old school. I took liam bohms advice. you litetally need to cut all thinks inflamatory, exercise, eat meat, no sugars , carbs. put the body in autophagy state. It took me alot ofhatd work, will power, hope and it went away. Just to let everyone know if ypu have the same symptoms you can totally cure it

Hey Ryan I got into a really bad acute acoustic trauma 12-01-2023. Shot around 700 rounds without ear protection. Instantly lost hearing and had very loud tinnitus. I have noise sensitivity and I feel like I get dizzy sometimes. I’m 6 months in. I think I’ll be like this forever???? I think maybe I have manieres disease too

My T started 3 1/2 years ago now. I started with vertigo and they thought i had Meniere's initially. I understand the violent vertigo and nystagmus ( eye movements) id have residual dizziness afternoon. My vertigo went after 3 months so they think its more a neuritis ( virus attack vestibular nerve) . Ive been doing low dose ketamine and having the effects like you with my depression and t a little better.
