    Used to be a CNA. I refused Nursing homes etc. Hospital environment was for me and I learned so much. My Nurse's depending on who it was let me do so much as being a Nurse is all I wanted to be since I was 5!

      Once I finish my externship (Nurse’s Aide Advanced), I’m refusing nursing homes. My abusive grandmother was enough punishment, living with her. I’ll work on a hospital or outpatient facility.

    I’m a Dietary Aide at a hospital and I’m getting my CNA license. I absolutely love the 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week. I don’t like 5 day work weeks. 😂
    My coworkers told me to speak with the nursing supervisor because they’re quick to hire CNA’s. Well, I spoke to him, he told me to apply that same day, and two days later, I got an email to do a phone interview! 🥹 3/7/24 is my phone interview; wish me luck guys!

      Never in my life would have done this changing diaper and wiping but you’ll get used to it. My LPN program requires CNA certification but never planning to work as a CNA but I still did CNA in home care for 4months. Lightness job and less stressful job I’ve done, yes! It’s physically demanding but I wasn’t mentally drained like I’m experiencing right now in nursing school.

    Nice video , I wanted to ask us there any difference between certified nursing assistant and nursing assistant? And if i get the nursing assistant certificate online can I work in a hospital? Or only care home ?

    • @auhneja2164
      @auhneja2164  Рік тому +2

      I’m not sure if you can earn your CNA online, because you are required to earn credit for the skills portion of the CNA. And certified nursing assistant means that you were credited, and you have certification. And a nursing assistant, may just have experience but no certificate, which may put them at a disadvantage.

    • @auhneja2164
      @auhneja2164  Рік тому +3

      As long as you have some equivalent to a high school diploma, for example, a GED. Along with your CNA certificate and some experience as a nursing assistant, you should be qualifiable for a position at the hospital as a CNA.

      As long as you have a work permit to work in the USA or a green card, you can get CNA training and apply to work as a CNA. Your pharmacy diploma is not a substitute. Some places train you for free and when you’re done, you may be required to work at one of their facilities.
