@@SummerFlower-mg4wd it depends on the school you’re going to. I noticed most community colleges allow regular grading scale like a 70% or 75% and most technical and private schools have a stricter grading scale. My school tried to have a 84% but too many people were failing so they dropped it to an 80%.
I'm bouts to start back working as a HHA& reinstate my CNA license. I'm in conflict on if I should go straight to RN or just do LPN for now which is what I want to do, (so I'll feel comfortable moving forward)but....I can go for RN & finish within 1,2 or 4 years..
@@auhneja2164 okay if I was to do the 1 year advance option all my prerequisites have to be completed 1st. I want to start the RN program in the Fall of 2025. I have a 9 soon to be 10 yr young daughter so I have to make sure she's good before & after school. She'll be in 6th grade Fall of 2025. So in 2024 I want to work & take my prereqs.
@@eerynessentialI’m starting my prerequisites in November this year we got this ❤I’m going the RN route but I was gonna do LPN since it’s one year but I’m so excited
Stay organized, get stuff done as soon as possible, plan accordingly. Although that's typical here is the real advice to help you not only survive but thrive. - Make friends and bond with your cohort. It's a team effort to get through the program and that comradory will help with all the stress that comes with nursing. - Take time for yourself. You're gonna socialize a lot and if you're an introvert (like me) it's gonna be super draining plus it's nice to take a break you're not a robot. - Reward yourself. After finishing a test treat yourself to something whether it be food or just having a lazy day do whatever you can to mentally reset. - Have a good support system. Whether it be family, a SO, or friends being with those individuals help ease the daily stress of being in this program.
Good Luck. Nurses are a blessing to have.
Such blessings
@@auhneja2164 … new subscriber here!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽.. what school did you go to and what state are you in?
Bs get degrees at the school I’m attending. Anything under 80% is a C which means failed which is crazy.
so C means can’t get degree?😢
Same here

Try looking at ADN 2 year programs. It’s not 1 year like LVN and it’s not 4years like rn bsn.

Good luck girl ☺️☺️
Thank you❣️
My program doesn’t allow us to have long nails bc of Bateria and causing glove breaks
It’s 2024 hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, jails, prisons, home health agencies will loose tons of nurses if this was required .
@jaydegotit well, it's still required for some, unfortunately
Hi!! Love your video!! I was wondering if this is in an ADN program or BSN (I'm looking to apply to an adn program right now) :) thank u!
Is this LPN or RN it doesn’t say?
Lpn

For nursing courses do u need to get a 80 overall grade
At my school and most other schools I know you have to get a 75 and above
I also want to be a nurse
I can only imagine the workload your under! I hope you continue to post this is so inspiring🫶🏽🤎
Thank you, that’s so encouraging ❤️
