  • Hello! Today's video is a pre season snowboard training, specifically a full body, gym workout for snowboarding! We also do some snowboard plyo training and snowboard jump training to make sure we have good structural integrity in our joints, and so that we can absorb force well when we're snowboarding. This full body snowboard workout focuses on lower body strength, upper body strength, and lots of core strength. Now is an awesome time to start a pre season training program for snowboarding, so give this one a shot! Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the inspiration! A lot of that I can do at home if they close us down again here. In the spring/summer, I train for linebacker position, in winter, I want to be ready to ride. A lot of the workouts are transferable.

No problem dude, I'm glad you find the workouts helpful! That's awesome, you're flipping gears in winter and summer! Linebackers are some gnarly athletes. Hopefully you can get in some good boarding this year! I'm prayin to the snow gods for a good season myself lol 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’ve been looking for snowboarding plyometrics/strength training thank you! If you do a beginner version will you talk through the movement and form of each? I don’t want to hurt myself just trying to copy what I see. It’s great seeing a woman trainer doing this :)

Awesome, I'm glad you found my channel and the workouts to help you out! I totally will do a beginner snowboarding strength training and plyos session, and I'll keep all my coaching cues in the video so you can hear and see exactly what I'm looking for! I'll make that video next week for ya, so keep an eye out Tuesday! I appreciate the comment and support 🙌🏼 it's about time we get some more women in this field 😎✊🏼 haha

How long should this realistically take you when starting and when proficient?

Hmm it all just depends, and to be honest, it was so long ago I don't exactly remember lol. But usually they last anywhere from 1 hr to 1 hr 30!
