5:16 Though it's great to have all these stories in OHC. This is why I like DC's Omnibuses more, they put their issues in chronological reading order. Marvel's Event Omnibuses unfortunately just put all the main series at the start and then all the tie ins to read afterward.
I fully agree! Although it depends on the event Omnibus. Absolute Carnage for example does go in chronological order, where as the King in Black didn't. I dont know why they don't make all of their books in chronological order.
But sometimes there are too many meaningless tie ins in between the actual story. Kills momentum. Somewhere in the middle is better. Only put major tie-ins in between issues. Put all the junk afterwards
I have these stories complete in single issues so my question is, how do I know the reading order? I don’t mind backtracking in the story but some structure to my reading is ideal
I've passed on a lot of Marvel omnis lately because I didn't like the quality of the IMAK printer, I didn't like how thin the pages were and how I could see art from the opposite side of the page. Any chance you could let me know if the page quality has improved?
So I can say that the quality has improved from the last few Imak omnibus before this one. Did you have any omnibus from Imak where you didn't like the quality and I can let you know if the Venomnibus is specifically better than those ones?
@@silverkyle The one that actually made me make the decision to put a hold on my Marvel omni purchases was J. Michael Straczynski's Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1. So much of the art leaking through to the opposite side ended up ruining a bit of the art in my opinion.
