My party is currently being guided by one. Called "sir dorbeck". A kindly undead mayor of a peaceful town of monsters. He's wanted by the capital for not paying taxesto them...
And for being the single most powerful lich on the planet, by a wide margin. Lord Dorbeck, A kind soul, with enough power to overthrow countries, assisting a band of misfit adventurers save the world. They've caught a few glimpses of the fact he's holding back, and his oh so common phrase of "oh i don't know everything, just most things".
And you just know that character Is level 20
@@TaurusTheCrazyBull 37 actually, also killed him off so the party realise the training wheels are coming off. they don't have the protection of "grandpa dorbeck" anymore, and they're just starting to realise how powerful that protection was
While all firebenders were powerless during the eclipse, Iroh wasn’t.
Iroh met the dragons and knows that firebending is energy and life, not anger and destruction.
So while everyone else couldn’t firebend, Iroh could.
And THAT is he was able to escape!
I think you’re assuming he only broke out of the cage during the solar eclipse, when i think youll find he broke out of the cage before the eclipse and used his physical strength the rest of the way, iroh like all life gets its energy from the sun which is why firebenders cant firebend
He def did not escape during the eclipse
@@ragibmahfuz5241 that makes him even more badass
My headcanon is that he softened the metal before the eclipse with firebending and then tore the weakened metal with his bare hands as it started
@@coreyeverett5500I guess that makes more sense. Iroh had most of the guards assume that he was out of pasture since his imprisonment; allowing him to use his time there to prepare his escape.
Bro was the og main protagonist who was bout to get main character role
I always pictured Uncle Iroh's prison break as if he was channeling his inner Kiryu and beat the crap out of all the guards to make his escape 😂
wow it's almost as if he's like a dragon or something.
He did, it happened during the eclipse so no one could fire bend. He broke those bars and beat everyone with normal martial arts.
@@OrbObserver he fought them *LIKE A DRAGON*
Way better edit than most other editors these days who only use flashy frames and repeat the same crap all over the vdo.
Be wary of an old man in a profession where men die young
Don't forget luten
@SS-rf1ri Iroh was one of if not the best Generals in the Fire nation, the fact there isn't a single general that could get the results Iroh was able to proves that Iroh was the peak of the Fire Nation militia due to him being a professional.
@@megaman37456 iroh is hands down the best general of fire nation he outpowered a 1 miles drill that was made for invading Ba Sing Sei and the only reason Ba Sing Sei isnt Na
Sing Sei is because of his son's death that make him go into mourning and depression
If I see this quote one more time imma geek
Appear strong when you are weak, appear weak when you are strong - Sun Tzu
DRAGON OF THE WEST
GENERAL IROH
🔥
This man taught me so much... that STRENGTH isn't just "power and muscles" but the ABILITY to maintain humble until it's time to RELEASE
"The Dragon of the west" one of the hardest anime nicknames ever
"Fear an old man in a proffession where people die young" and remember iroh wasnt at his peak at that time and he didnt want to directly harm the ones inside the city if he had the his old mindset he would just burn that city down to ashes
"A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control."
Imagine how terrifying thay must've been for the guard, an overweight old AF guy just drops his coat a week later for you to see he is shredded AF.
Dang this edit makes it look like he’s the villain. Bro he would be crazy intimidating as one
True. Imagine if it was Aang vs. Iroh
That moment you realize he clearly wasn't helping Zuko the entire time lol
@@puddlejumper6477 he wasnt helping zuko find the avatar but he was helping zuko mentally and physically
@@thecomicnerd8if Iroh's son did not die it would probably be him vs Aang as he was next in line to be Fire Lord
be like iroh, calm and wise but a force of nature when faced with adversity
Poor Azula...She thought that she could go against "the dragon of the west"
Him breathing with the fire though goes so hard 🔥
Iroh is the perfect example of "it's better to be a warrior in a garden then a gardener in a war"
1:02 One of the first lessons Uncle Iroh taught Zuko on screen was that the power in fire bending comes from the breath, not the muscle, and it’s neat to see him apply that through deep breathing before destroying the wall.
Most metal character ever made, I love iroh with every fiver of my being.
Uncle Iroh knew that the guards are powerless during the eclipse, so he made sure he's not
Rule number 1 of being a one man army: never let them know you are a one man army
The most iroh thing i see today
Only just getting the connection between Iroh’s first lines ‘power in firebending comes from the breath’ and the way he breaks down Ba Sing Se in the comet
The best thing about Iroh is that he knows when it is right to he kind. And, he knows when he needs to be strong.
He may not be a earthbender, but he definitely bent some metal there
He is the real phenoix that arises from ashes
During the eclipse, for a brief moment in time, Toph was not the only metal bender
“A true warrior, like tea, shows his true strength in hot water.” - PROBABLY A PROVERB FROM IROH.
Uncle Iroh is such a chad bro😤
all this needs is a MENACING Laugh😂.
he is the wisest person I admire in this series 🥰
I seriously wish we'd get a prequel on Iroh's younger years.
"Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak"
Sun Tzu
Jiraiya and Rayleigh in multiverse
Mostly Rayleigh, jiraiya didn’t even do much at that age and got killed by pain
This montage goes hard fr!
Iroh is the only fire bender besides Zhuko, who gained my deep respect throughout the first season! I love his personality and his obssesion with green tea is a funny added trait.
Dude was so powerful he casually blasted his way into ba sing se on his own power. Iroh was a peaceful man capable of destruction incarnate. He was a crown prince before his lunatic brother took over and is definitely the strongest fire bender to ever live.
The guy was so powerful that not even the movie that shall not be named could stop him from being the only actual fire bender
In universe, people forget that Iroh is one of the scariest firebenders ever to bend a flame.
Good thing we never will.
When you realize he could’ve conquered ba sing se but choose not to because he thought it wasn’t right
The characters in TLA are so incredible that you can't tell which one is the best, and Iroh is one of those characters in the series
An iroh edit is something that i didn't know i needed so badly
If he didn't lose his sons and still had his ambitions intact, Iroh might have been one of the most dangerous Fire Lords in history
Iroh was so nice, wise and unassuming but he was probably the best warrior in the whole show. He had raw power, boat loads of technique and a diverse array of tricks learned from other bending schools. If I were in that show and I had to pick one person to fight for me to save my life, I'd go Iroh.
I NEED A SERIES FOCUSED ON HIS BACKSTORY
Such as baddass. Always my favorite character. Uncle was is a beast!
Iroh was my favorite character He was such a gentle soul but a fighter through and a true father to zuko. I love that zuko later named his son after him.❤
0:52 They don't call him a Dragon for nothing.
