Even Sokka could have just hit them in the head and knocked the Fire Benders unconscious. M. Night Shyamalan tried to make this scene look cool as if though so many things were happening at once, except NOTHING was happening at once, besides the camera pan to the Backstreet Earth Benders Boys dancing to move one rock, once the camera panned to Aang back, everyone was pretty much in the same spot just waiting for the camera cue.
I'm so glad that Toph and Azula weren't in this movie because their characters would've been butchered too. Edit: I did not know that Azula was in the end credits because I stopped watching halfway of the movie.
They needlessly nerfed firebenders. 1. They're not "mAkInG fIrE oUt oF nOtHiNg", they use their chi + their breathing to produce "chaotic energy"/heat = they let it out of their bodies with some form of control = firebending. Concentrate this energy further into a single point, they produce lightning. 2. They wouldn't have been able to conquer much of the known world if they couldn't produce their own element oUt oF nOtHing, because the other nations would've just extinguished their "source". Remember, in the movie, they bombard an area with fireballs first so that they have a source of fire when they land. If they extinguish the fireballs before the firebenders get there, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they also didn't mention Sozin's Comet, so. 3. Firebenders already have no defensive capabilities against the other elements (except produce more heat), it's their disadvantage, so again, why nerf them. This is what happens when you sideline even the creators of the show and the world you're adapting. F.
For whatever reason, M Knight said it would be unfair for the fire nation to be able to create fire from nothing. What he didn't realize, the twat, is that they're always surrounded by air and earth, and water benders carry water if none would be around. So he effectively neutered the fire nation for no reason.
I haven’t seen the original series in a while, but I’m pretty sure only skilled fire benders can use their chi to create fire, hence random grunts still need a source. But it is true that all the bending in the movie was nerfed into oblivion. I’ll never get over how he had 10 earth benders put all their effort into moving one large rock slowly. Even the choreography resulted in nerfed bending because they had to do so much before they could bend, they might as well have resorted to traditional combat at that point and allowing that to be possible is evidence of true incompetence on M. The way the fire kingdom can't create fire out of nothing really bugging me the most in this movie, it's like they indirectly implied earth benders in the movie are so pathetic they can't even beat down a nation who can't produce their own element and the fact that the element itself is weak against their element. In the animated show there is reason why fire nation having hard time conquering earth kingdom and Bumi being feared by many, they are tank in disguise.
THIS!!! There is no way in hell would this fire nation be able to take over the world. Like you pull up to literally water benders, on a ice island, surrounded by ocean and you need a fire source to even start your attack??? HOW ARE THEY WINNING???

Thank you so much for indirectly telling me what the music was
assume you
the best edit out there all facts no lies.
Jackson rathbone just Standing there blinking got me -
I’ve never taken the time to watch this movie and thanks to this video, I never will.
The pebble: just end me
The pebble was forced to be there, but didn't want to 😂
The way the fire kingdom can't create fire out of nothing really bugging me the most in this movie, it's like they indirectly implied earth benders in the movie are so pathetic they can't even beat down a nation who can't produce their own element and the fact that the element itself is weak against their element.
To say that the movie did the show dirty would be an understatement.
It’s a mockery.
I still remember that scene were it took 7 people to move a pebble. I remember people dying in laughter at the theater
To be fair the child actors are trying their best. Their the children of the director and others working on the movie and probably thought it would be the coolest thing to ever happen to them.
Also the kid playing Sokka is actually funny sometimes so there's that.
I remember my parents knew how much I loved ATLA and when it came out, my parents had recently divorced but once per month we did a "family activity" to "ease into it" and we went to see this atrocity at the cinema... THE DISAPPOINTMENT 10 YEAR OLD ME FELT 😂
That's rough, buddy.
0:52 even the actor playing that random firebender can’t take this movie seriously. And Sokka is just staring at the action.
This compilation is waaaay better than the actual film🤣🤣
6 earthbenders for 1 little rock HAHAHAHAH
OMG FIRE OUT OF NOTHING IVE NEVER SEEN THAT HAPPEN BEFORE!!!!!!
At least this is good for memes. But I honestly feel bad for everyone who was serious about this because now they're just being laughed at.
I do too. The actors aren't even that bad, it's just what they're being told.
2:55 this guy is more Morbius than Morbius
"It's Irohin Time"
The fact that you made this more enjoyable than the movie is a crime in itself 😆 🤣 😂
0:49 whoever choreographed this definitely wanted the movie to fail ☠️
I feel physical pain watching this film.
I find it funny how M Night Shamalan was so hyped up on paying respects to the original cultures and languages ATLA was based on… without even thinking of paying respects to the actual show they were making a movie off of.
Well, at least this movie shows Sokka for the greatest non-bender that he is with his almighty boomerang. Which let's not forget, saved the team from Sparky Sparky Boom Man. So it at least has that going for it...besides Seychelle Gabriel/Yue eventually being chosen to voice Asami for Legend of Korra
are you sure he's the avatar? yea, just scan the QR code on his head.
😂
Only the "Oventar" would have a QR code on his head
0:07 will never not be funny
Before Sokka said you just sneezed I actually sneezed
The fight scenes in the Live “Action” movie made me want to cry and ask zuko from book one to just end it all for me
He'd probably be happy to
Bro that fart noise shouldn't have killed me this hard 😂😂
Whenever I’m sad I go back to my saved videos and watch this because the rock with the fart sound effect gets me every time
That music goes so perfectly with whatever that movie and those scenes are
This is the first time I have ever seen anything from this movie, but I gotta say I might come back to this sometime. Its so bad that’s it too funny not to laugh at it 🤣
Thank God I didn't see this in theaters because I would have most definitely walked out.
the funny thing is that my parents did 🤣
The rock? More like the pebble 1:06
1:52 this actually true if you look at the studies of taoism n stuff.
0:15 one of the most iconic lines of Sokka 😂😂😂
0:43 most iconic 😂
Literally does thirteen backflips and becomes the universes best gymnast to throw a rock.
Can we just appreciate how clean Zuko's line in this video was ? "That Wasn't a good movie"
I went to the movie theater to see this shaking with excitement I left unimpressed but excited for the continuation because I was a huge fan of the show
1. His name is ong
2. He is the oventar
3. He ran away, but he's back 🎉
The best thing of this Movie was the princess of the Northern water Tribe, i thought she was really pretty and perfect for this role. And i really wantet her to play in the New Avatar ❤
