I am very excited to know this much of engines in various tunes in our indian market. I want a clarification of what type of turbo(WGT or VGT) is used in 1.3L Multijet diesel engine and why kia used WGT turbo in early stage and now they changed to VGT turbos in their 1.5L diesel engine
WGT is the most simplest form of turbo in diesel when compared to VGT, VGT had a performance monkier, vgt removed the concept of turbo lag below 2000rpm which the wgt had, now with the price increase and the unification of the engines the did away the wgt 100bhp engines used in the old venue and the discontinued i20 diesel, using the same 1.5 vgt for venue , sonet and creta and seltos
Just a note to Asir Anna While you comment about Ashish on tata Nexon - he mentioned that "zest went on to gym, took some steroids and returned back as Nexon".. it's not vista.. I know you know this and it's just the slip of your tongue.. But still I thought of highlighting it..

Abarth Punto ,1.4 Tjet engine, upgraded intercooler, decat Downpipe, stage 2 remap, putting out close to 180 bhp ! All this from year 2016 itself and the best part is it didn't cost 20 lakhs 😀
Small trivia about 1.2 K series. Some of us might know the original engine is 1242cc K12B which was destroked for India under 1200cc and named as K12M which recieved updates like vvt. Later the same engine was launched with dual jet and smart hybrid in Baleno and sold alongside K12M but it sold very less in numbers. When BS6 was implemented smart hybrid was removed and launched only with dual jet in swift and dzire later it was brought into baleno. Currently all 1.2 k series are K12N with 90ps but the interesting part is from ignis as mentioned in the video. Ignis runs on K12D which is a successor to the original K12B engine but now it is 1197cc even in international version. Tricky thing what Maruti did was this K12B has mild hybrid as standard but only the Indian version of ignis is sold without shvs. That's why we can still see ignis with 83ps engine. It is the same as K12N but technically it is the non hybrid version of K12D. Sounds confusing ?? That's what maruti has done !

Please have a story podcast on engines like 1.5 tdci and others which we can now buy on second hand car market. As a car lover who is dreaming of buying his first car, now buying a new car with low powered engines in entry level cars is not a good idea. So for people like us, put a separate podcast on good handling cars under 10 lakhs on second hand market.
For Agri field visits (off road) and as well family purpose in city ride which vehicle you can suggest. kindly suggest an petrol - high end model with high safety features. Budget 20 L. Thank you.
