I hope whoever reads this gets clear skin x
You too girl ❤
Same to you too ladies❤❤❤❤
U toooo I really hope my skin clears ❤
U too sista on that journey already! ❤
Thank you 🥹
"Especially if you're 10, 11, 12 years old... if you're that young, the best thing you can do for your skin is cleanse, moisturize, and use a sunscreen. That's all you need. You don't need to use any other products than that." Very good advice! At that age they don't need so many products, just the basics. And there's no need to pay Drunk Elephant prices.
well i got skincare at 10 because i got acne at 9-
@@evelynSOnotfoundthat's the exception not the rule afcourse some people need actives to help with acne if you have that. But most people your age don't have that problem❤️
@@evelynSOnotfound It's referring to kids that age in general who just need basic skincare. Instead of them using products intended for adults or buying whatever trends go viral. Of course, if you have acne at a young age then additional treatment is fine.
@@evelynSOnotfoundhaving a condition is different than just wanting to use the latest hyped product
if u are struggling with ur skin then your doctor will prescribe you something and sometimes it could be drunk elephant yk my friend was super young she was 11 and got skin I don’t think she’d like me to talk about that but her doctor dermatologist whatever said the drunkelephant thing cleanser idk that’s what my friend said
I'm 67 years old and just came across your videos. It's fantastic to see a young person knowledgeable about skin care and getting information out
there to all age groups, especially the young. Proper skin care begins years before your first wrinkle.... Fortunately I began taking care of my skin very young. Way to go, Hyram!!
I was so worried about you since the last video you posted. I'm so glad you've posted again, because you're my favorite UA-camr. Every video you post makes my day and helps me care better about myself. I have depression and skincare recently is the only thing that makes me feel so happy. When you take care of your skin it makes you feel good. 🥰 I hope this year goes so much better for you than last year. Prayers and hugs. 💙🩵🙏
I can't thank Hyram enough for changing my life and skin 😊
From a parent of a 9 year old who wanted skin care for Christmas. I just wanted to say thank you for being an adult with your reaction. I did take my daughter to Ulta and together we found, a cleaner, sun screen, and moisturizer that was age-appropriate. I was so excited to share this experience with her! Until I was met with the angry mob that was upset that my daughter wanted skin care. Not all parents are buying harmful products for their kids! And you’re right this is exciting to see! Young teens caring about taking care of themselves! What they need is guidance not judgment and hate!
as someone who got acne in fourth grade and started going to a dermatologist in 5th-6th grade (my parents both had severe acne so i was bound it get it) not all skincare is bad for children! When I was young I had to start using skincare and in the long run it actually helped me with keeping a routine as I got older! In all honesty the kids are just wanting to be like the adults, just like when I stole my moms makeup and skincare because I wanted to be like her. Its endearing honestly. Glad you got to have that moment with your child and did your research!
@@kaecarter7116 aww thanks still doing research. It’s a forever changing thing I think. Always something new to learn :)
I am so happy that you are back!!!!!!!! Doing exactly what you do best!!!!!! Giving your opinion in a fun way !!!!!!!! Love it!!
I am over the ten year olds taking over Sephora videos. It’s getting old. Maybe we need to make “irresponsible parents are letting their ten year olds run amok in Sephora unsupervised” videos. It’s not about the kids, they are kids, it’s about parents not watching their kids. I take my almost ten year old to Sephora and Ulta all the time and she is never unsupervised. Thanks for the dupe video Hyram! I don’t buy their products. They are ridiculous for what they are.
I also think people are overreacting (in a lot of cases) to the kids using skincare. When I was a kid in the '90s, I wore my mom's makeup for funsies. It's very normal for kids to want to emulate their parents. I eventually grew out of the phase and ended up being a teen/adult who wears little to no makeup. Because nowadays skincare is more popular than makeup, kids are also getting into skincare. As long as they aren't using harmful products and behaving well in stores, it's not that serious.
how the hell are these 10 year olds even affording drunk elephant😭😭
I KNOW RIGHT, i have no idea lmao
Probably their parents
Allowances
I can’t even afford it and I work like 35 hours a week
Blame their parents!
I bought a kit from BYOMA and omg… within one use, my skin was so noticeably softer! 😭 I also got the CerVe sheer sunscreen. I’m in heaven and never going back! 💕
They're amazing right?? Love how luxurious their formulas feel without breaking the bank :) I'm so glad you love!
I don't know if I have improved my skin with skincare but I have definitely influenced more than three people in my college to get into skincare which I am very happy about!
Me clicking the video because I remember Hyram saying he’d never speak on DE again 💀 I knew this was gonna be good!
your final thoughts about the purpose relistic about skin care have really impressed me and make me rewind and rehearing over and over again it's very important and the basic highlights for people that is starting up the their basic skin care routine that they needed to hear , thank you hyram , best wishes
love when you share more affordable dupes for products!
totally unrelated to the video, but your eyes are just so lovely hyram!
OMG ALLY I LOVE UR VIDEOS!!!!! I CANT WAIT FOR TTPD
So glad you're back and giving us the skincare advice we know and love you for 🎉❤
I LOVE that you took the time to do this!! You are the best 🥰
It's great to see you Hyram 😊 I hope you are doing well! Great video as always 🫶
What a great video. I love that you're promoting spending less to get the same results. Minimalism in this capitalistic society is the new rebellion. I love it. Thank you. I'm very grateful for this. And I love SkinFix. It's a Canadian product, too. I cannot not like it. It's the best winter cream ever. I only buy it in the winter months.
Thanks for this video! It made me want to see a video where you talk about products that you've changed your mind about! What other products did you used to recommend that you wouldn't anymore? Are there any products you initially didn't like that you love now? I'd love to hear your updated opinions on products you haven't talked about in a while!
Yess Totally agree on the finding what is suitable for your skin.
I love the Peach & Lily serum!! Ulta just had it on the 50% off sale and I picked it up again. Love itttt
Hyram’s eyes are so amazing ❤️
Wooo, been wanting dupes. Thanks for your recs. I fell in love with your channel when you rated sunscreens. Always dishing out holy grails.
Thank you for coming back babe❤️❤️
I remember when you loved Drunk Elephant and remember when you shunned them! Ahh the good ol days before 10 year olds found tik toks 😂
What a delight you are. Keep on making these wonderful videos.
Happy your back!! Hope you had the break and rest you needed 💖
Omg. I love this video so much. Because of you, I don't support drunk elephant, so I'm really excited to try these dupes. Thanks Hyram!!
Thanks , so happy to see you again
Been stalking my notifications for your next video. I am a homecare nurse and between patients i love listening to your videos while i drive!!! Awesome video
I think Hyram gives excellent advice. It is great that teens are concerned with taking care of their skin at a young age, I wish I had.
I think the real issue is educating parents as to what products are best suited for their teens/tweens skincare, not letting their kids buy the next hyped up thing for the sake of consumerism.
I personally love the Drunk Elephant TLC (as a 55 yr old), but I would love a cheaper alternative. I need to check out Hyram recommendations as well
I really enjoyed this video!! Please do more videos like this!!
It’s so good to see you after your last video. You must be feeling better! 👏🏻. Can you address mature skin, care, foundation etc? I think you would have some great info!
I'm glad you're back, I was starting to worry x
Grateful for your SkinFix recommendation. It helped dry areas that even rx creams didn’t fix. It is pricy but by using CeraVe, The Ordinary, Inkey List and Aveeno, the rest of my routine is fairly cheap.
I love your recommendations. They are always so good ❤.
The Eucerin peptide cream is also a good option if you want peptides. I don't remember the exact name but it's on the anti aging line ❤
i love your content so much i watch it every day
Thank you so much boo, you're so sweet!
@@Hyram omg thank you so much i’m literally crying rn 😭
See, I love what you said about teens getting into skin care early. I also think it's great. However, I think they are going overboard with wanting the more expensive products because it's what everyone else is using. I was using 2 drunk elephant products and because they are always completely out of stock due to the teenage skin care craze, I found your video for some suggestions on products that will do literally the same thing. So thank you thank you 🙏
So glad you are back! And you seem super upbeat again, all funny and crazy eheheh. Much love to you, Hyram ❤
This new craze is so funny to me but my sisters nieces are crazy about it and seeing how many kids are obsessed now is really cracking me up
Any dupes for Drunk Elephant’s Vitamin C? I love it because of the packaging (it’s not a dropper) & it doesn’t oxidize as quickly as others I’ve tried. I already tried Paula’s Choice & Naturium. Thank you in advance!
i love the Byoma Creamy Jelly Cleanser
I'm so relieved to hear you say this! I ordered a sample as I heard of the hype (not the tween one). After the Jelly cleanser I was like.. 😐 and the moisturiser wasn't too impressive either 😅. I always check your videos before I buy anything as I trust your recommendations! ❤️
BANGER VIDEO I NEEDED THESE DUPES❤❤❤❤
Love this video! Can you possibly do a video on skincare makeup for oily/acne prone skin ? ❤
The fact that my bratty friend has so many Drunk Elephant products💀💀💀
If you think that she's not your friend
lol im 13 and i got acne at 9 so i use blemish products that i patch test and people say “sephora kid” or “preppy” when im just fixing my acne prone skin
i only use ordinary and a water cream and cleanser
You read my mind with this video. Thank you!
Hyram this is toooooooo relatable. Also for the bronzing drops you can also get the bronzing drops from elf. ILYSM hyram
I trust your recommendations, I was curious about drunk elephant but it was too over the top so this video made my day but I would like to see your links I hope you upload them sooner than I'm thinking😊
Literally half my skincare products are from Hyram’s videos😭 I love him
Skinfix is my favorite night cream, year round. I wait for the Sephora sale and buy the 3.4oz jar 😊
Loved this video! ❤️ Request: When you do price comparisons, could you compare price by oz. or mL, rather than just the containers? It would be more helpful i think!! Thank you 😇
bro does not care
drunk elephant isn’t even all that tbh 😭
💯
Some other dupes:
- loreal glotion for that bronzy look
- bubble moisturizer (slam dunk or level up) for that packaging, or take the one he recommended and use those amazon moisturizer dispensers
- ordinary serums
This is such a good video idea! I love to see some affordable dupes!
I hope you like the dupes! Thank you so much for watching boo
@@Hyram can’t wait to try some of these products! Especially the nano bronze drops dupe! I’ve always wondered about them 😊
I love drunk elephant! Idgaf what goes on being the scenes, these products are amazing!
My daughter personally only uses 2 drunk elephant products and she got them for Christmas. I gave her brands like Glow Recipe, CeraVe, Bubble, and Byoma. And I do not give her retinol or vitamin C. I'm also a huge fun of Cassandra Bankson. She doesn't go around saying kids dont need skincare (Which i agree, skincare is for everyone) but its the type of skincare that they are using. I also taught my daughter how different types of skincare can impact her skin and she does not beg for drunk elephant and she is happy with what she has.
Thank you for making this. I've been using low end skincare for almost 20 years, minus 1 prescription. And it will do the same s*** people what is most important is CONSISTANCY. Everyday you gotta do it. And when your lazy at least just cleanse and moisturize quick. 5 min boom done
Thank you sharing this video! I don't think I can always afford Drunk Elephant.
a good dupe for the Sukari baby facial is the bubble exfoliating mask- it even has similar packaging.
Ooh I haven't tried that one! I'll have to check it out, thank you for the recommendation :)
Yes! It is literally the most similar 😮😮😮
I'd gave them up when I saw I would have to be as drunk as an elephant to pay their prices
I am so happy you are taking about this I honestly don’t get the hype over drunk elephant
ok but why did this video make me want to try drunk elephant😭
Hi, Hyram! 😊
You should come to Europe to try some of our selling products and then it would be really, really sweetly great 😄😅 We don’t have access to most products you’re talking about. Although It’s a real pleasure to watch you talking anyway ❤
Hugs and kisses from Portugal 🇵🇹😘😍
Do you have a BYOMA video? A whole brand video like you used to do? I would love that!
NEEDED THIS❤
I hope you enjoy boo!!
i was wondering if you could do a review on youth to the people because i love their cleanser but im not sure about the rest of their products
I look forward to your content. And more importantly, I trust it.
I have been using CeraVe moisterizer + suncreen and Peach n’ Lily products (glass skin serum and matcha pudding cream) alternatively. I never have a breakouts unless I touch my face with dirty fingers. For me, CeraVe is working but not as effective as Peach n’ Lily ones. I’m just glad I discovered my right skincare products for my once active volcanos and moon face. 😭
But yeah. Kids, only use facial wash, maybe toner like witch hazel, and moisturizer and sunscreen for your daily skincare routine. You don’t need wrinkle treatment when you are not even in 30s. Some of you are not even getting period. 😭 My 54 years old mom only has been using facial wash and Olay moisturizers only for all of her entire life. Never got breakouts once.
You look extra great today, Hyram!✌️❤️
Hey Hyram! I was wondering if you could make a video for anti aging! My grandma wants to get into skincare but she doesn't want many steps. Also make sure the products are affordable and gentle lol
Thanks for this video. Let’s be honest, they want Drunk Elephant because marketing. The packaging is cute, bright, Instagrammable, their website and packaging is a neon rainbow vomit explosion - maybe they won’t say it out loud, but they are marketing to exactly the audience they’re attracting. I find myself WANTING to like the products more than I actually do, but now I’m older than their target audience and just want something that works 😅 Can’t wait to try your recommendations here; I’ve been looking for a good AHA exfoliant.
I loveeeeee the skin fix cream. I discovered it when I was working in a Covid unit and reusing the N95s, masks, PAPRs was making my face freak out. My skin was literally peeling off, breaking out… skin fix saved me.
Please make a video about skincare in Europe and European drugstores (dm) it would be really great!❤️❤️
Can you go in depth for Byoma please
if 10 year olds are using the harsh products then i truly blame the parents
This is so so helpful and I have been looking for stuff like this
WAKE UP THE KING HAS POSTED🙇
Honestly I think the reason all these tween want drunk elephant products is because they are bougee/aesthetic and trendy they want to be like everybody using those high end products when they don’t have any need for it
Thank you for this video!!! ❤
I think the biggest problem with this tween trend is that no one is telling them they will do more damage than good if they use these products without using sunscreen. They’ll age rapidly.
I agree with most of what you're saying. Also if your twins are talking about this kind of expenditure on skincare, JUST SAY NO! The only thing i'm not understanding and I know our skin is different, but I am 63 and I think skinfix is heavy and oily for a day cream. ❤ It is great for a night cream. I will stay with protini for my daycream. What works well for my daughter is paula's choice..
The question is why are parents letting their kids use this mature skincare
I honestly think those little kids should not be using drunk elephant
Agreed! I think there's gentler and more affordable options out there :)
@@Hyram exactly it’s really overpriced for the most mediocre ingredients
I like the editing and special effect sounds in your video. They made me laugh haha. I’ve used Krave Kaleluyaha but it didn’t exactly perfect my skin in terms of exfoliating. I like Chantecaille exfoliating solution better
Hey! Would you ever do a video on medical grade skincare? Like Alumier md or zein obagi for example (or any others available to you)? I would be interested to know what you think!!
I know this is random but I’m 13 and I have had like a lot of bad acne since I was 11 and I use the Cerave acne cream cleanser and sometimes the CeraVe SA cleanser, for toner I use the neutrogena acne stress control triple action toner, I use the Cerave retinol serum (I know I’m young but it seems to be working) or I use the bubble salicylic acid serum and for moisturizer I use either bubble level up or the Cerave PM moisturizer along with the bubble acne spot treatment is this a good routine?
Waiting for the list of dupes in your description because my brain is not that good. I need a good skincare routine for my oily skin! Right now I am using the Olay Super Serum + One of the Neutrogena night creams + Clinique Clarifying Lotion number 3 three times a week.
Guys, calm down!!!! This isn't about the kids wanting skincare, I'm 10 myself and love Drunk Elephant and Glow Recipe and preppy brands, it's about the parents being careless and letting their kid buy anything! In fact, I do my own research and learn from Hyram! I have lots of skincare but none of my products have retinol or anti aging ingredients! I have those brands like Drunk Elephant but not like retinols or eye creams or that night serum or literally anything harmful! I just love doing skincare and trust me, I love doing other things so let's try to not always blame kids because we don't know better ❤️❤️ Also the only kids to call out are the ones that that buy retinol and destroy testers!!!
so true, im 11 and i love skincare but i dont use retinol or harmful ingredients. I also buy most of my products, its not my parents money. Although i am kinda broke so i olny have 1 thing from glow recipe and the rest is from bubble
@@kavayathapa Exactly! I don't even use my parents money! And I don't destroy testers! I do use them but I clean them and only use a little bit
Will you make a video about your everyday skincare routine?
👋🏽 Hey I have a question ⁉️ what is the difference between niacinamide and glycolic acid? And which one do u recommend 😅
Hopefully 🤞🏽 Hyram reads this
If anything I go against the hype like it took me forever to grab the beauty of joseon sunscreen. So I more so listen to my skin than grab what everyone's saying is good. I mean I grab things that you guys recommend, however if it's oh this is great and everyone's saying it kind of makes me go away from it. Idk I just more so listen to my skin and look at the ingredients list myself to see if it goes with what I prefer.
i could literally watch anything you say Hyram:))
Can you please educate parents on what skin care ointments/treatments that would work for 17 year old sudden acne filled cheeks should buy??? I’m so tired of giving Ulta my money .
Funny how some of the dupes are more expensive than the original. In australia, the SkinFix Triple Lipid Peptide Cream is $130 and the drunk elephant one is about $110! both crazy expensive
Thank you for giving us your knowledge and advice! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
and thank you so much for watching & supporting boo!
@@Hyram Always!🙂🙂
In France INDEED LABORATORIES DROPS cost 33 euros, pretty much as DRUNK ELEPHANT
