    I personally love my SR350, it is a hammer for my setup, and this looks to be a worthy predecessor (except I wished it still had the big ass cams for aesthetics). I don't care for the core/bridgelock system, would've preferred picatinny and Bowtech just distanced themselves even more in terms of tuneability. Their tunability and customer service is why I have stuck with them the last two bows and will likely continue to do so in the future. Best reviews on UA-cam, much appreciated and keep it up.

    I like the tests you have. The specs based score is nice. I like the fact you give some other feedback about the give and take when it comes to the different style of bow...like this "speed refined" bow vs the "super smooth" bow and then the draw length and how that will change the feel of the draw cycle, changing to smooth side, etc. Please keep it up.

    MFJJ is 100% right on this bow. I'm 28.5 and i love the draw cycle on this bow. There is a hump at the end when it's on performance but it absolutely rips. I actually shoot my Core SR better than my LIFT. I just chrono'd my SR at 28.5, 72#, 389g TAC arrow and I was getting 315fps.

    Shot this one and the other new releases. Hands down in comfort this pulled better for me at 29.5 across all three platforms. Very smooth and consistent. I shot the ss its cool for a shorter ATA but it pulled the same if not a little worse at my draw length. I wanted to like the carbon but it was just not what I expected not impressed. I will say on performance that SR was rough, but maybe tunable to make it a little less shoulder popping. Comfort was a blast and super easy and consistent draw over and over.
    Solid reviews as usual can’t wait for what comes next this year!

    I went and shot the new Bowtech lineup last week and really liked the SS. I agree that the SR is harsh at 30 inches (I am a 30" draw). Overall I think the 24 line is packed with great bows, even though I still feel the Experience is still one of Bowtech's best bows of all time. Nice honest review, thanks for taking the time to do these reviews.

    I just went and traded my Omnia in on the bow yesterday and absolutely love it. With that being said I’m not a fan of proprietary technology’s that corner a consumer into a system of proprietary products for the bow like Mathew’s we are seeing now what they (Mathew’s) is really doing and it’s raising prices and having accessories that are outrageous in price. I hope $2k doesn’t become the new norm because that’s not fun

    Awesome videos. Has it been verified that vibration meter isn't getting false readings from the back wall? It looks like it hit as high as 900 on the back wall. Could be wrong just wondering if starting the meter after back wall would yield different results. Either way the new testing format is awesome, especially the 3 different arrow speeds. 🔥 🤟

    • @Patriot36
      @Patriot36 8 місяців тому

      I'm guessing it ignores any vibrations that aren't of a certain amplitude our outside of an actual shot event and/or it's only measuring the peak vibration event within a very brief window. That's how those things typically work. I've played with them before but not the same brand.

    • @neverpastnever
      @neverpastnever 8 місяців тому

      @@Patriot36 Gotcha, makes sense...it's gotta be the peak until he stops it but there is a significant vibration to the meter when hitting the back wall. It would be nice to eliminate that by starting it after full draw, or at least test if there is a difference.

    @Patriot36 8 місяців тому

    Dude, I've never seen you work so hard during the shooting portion of a bow review. I'm only a 28" draw so I'm guessing this would be a slightly different animal. I say slightly because that hump is still going to be there... but will it be 10% better, 15% better, or something else? I might drop by the shop and shoot one today and leave my quick impression from a shorter shooter's perspective.

    • @Patriot36
      @Patriot36 8 місяців тому

      Okay, I shot the Core SS today. The big hump at the end of the stroke is definitely significant even at 28" draw. So yes, I would imagine it could be worse at its 30" max adjustment but it's still quite substantial at 28" as well. It's just the nature of the performance module when it's flipped. It did pick up 10fps though, which was surprising, as I thought it would be less. We saw 296fps with 355gr arrow on comfort and 306fps on performance... 28" draw.

    Not saying anything against how you test things but why is it that there is such a difference between what the company puts on for its speed to what you get in a real world situation with the same weight arrow and the same draw length and same poundage why is that such a hard thing to do what are they doing differently that gives them such a high number that they publish That's just the most confusing thing to me ever whereas it doesn't really matter because nobody's going to be really shooting at that speed but I know it's like a selling point help me to understand

    • @joshflanery1352
      @joshflanery1352 8 місяців тому +1

      Standards they have and deviations with equipment they can push and be in standard as well as things on strings, like peep, d loop, dampeners are all removed. As well as speed nocks and even some use less string count for testing because they are allowed to per spec. A lot that goes into it but most manufacturers are over rated for their ibo speed

    • @cjr4497
      @cjr4497 8 місяців тому

      The companies are giving IBO Max speeds with nothing on the string. It irritates the heck out of my that MJFF keeps saying IBO and doesn't explain anything. IBO speed is 80# +/- 2# draw weight, 5 grains per pound arrow weight, and no max draw length! Using IBO a company cant test a the speed of a bow with an 82# draw, 33" draw length, and 400 grain arrow then market that speed. ATA arrow speed is what MFJJ is doing with his 350 grain arrow speed test. ATA is 30"+1/4" draw, 70# +/- 0.2#, 5 gr/# arrow. This is why there is a speed discrepancy. If all the bow companies were required to us ATA then this confusion wouldn't exist.

    • @petebeck6696
      @petebeck6696 8 місяців тому

      It's why they claim speeds up too. When they post Ibo. Ata is more common folk numbers. But I was praying for a 34 ata with all the extras. But got slapped with another 33. The ss34 was a big hit last year. And they could have done a Mathews thing. Rebranded the bow with a different name and added the extra tech onto it.

    Stop calling ATA speed IBO, and I will be happy. You are testing the ATA speed of these bows by backing them down to shoot a 350 grain arrow. Your audience deserves to know that. ATA Speed is 30" +1/4"draw, 70# +/- 0.2 , and 5 gr/# arrow. IBO is quite different hence the speed disparity we normally see. IBO speed is 80# +/- 2# draw weight, 5 grains per pound arrow weight, and no max draw length!
