I love these videos! I blew my knee out getting down out of my tree stand 2 weeks ago after harvesting a big mature 10 here in PA. Your videos have helped me keep my sanity while sitting on my couch after surgery not being able to fill my other tags! Keep it up 👍 Love the podcast also!!!
I blew my knee out too! (mountaineering in Wyoming) I’m thinking the same thing, thankfully I can rewatch old videos lol! Hope your recovery is going well, 5 weeks post op for me!
Enjoyed and appreciated you taking time to make this video, even appreciated the “flustered” moment lol, im in the process of putting together a bow bench and setup to work on my bow, been shooting bows for over 15 years but never worked on them, watching your videos has helped tremendously on what i need to be doing and how to approach it with some sense of direction not completely oblivious lol Ty
I absolutely appreciate everything that you do i have been implementing so many physical and mental techniques that both you and Dan teach and i am improving everyday!
Great video dude! I’m really looking forward to your in depth tuning series you have been talking about. The content has been great! Thanks for all the info!
Awesome videos! Really breaks down the set up/tuning process for beginners. Josh you make it simple enough to understand how to really work on your bow and features of your sight in process is broke down and explained very well. I appreciate your videos. Keep them coming!
Thank you for taking us through your setup and tuning process. I wish I had watched a few videos before spending so much time bare tuning. Thanks again
Loving your content man.. being new to archery love that your not sold out on one brand specific and can actually trust what you say ! Also the most down to earth real world UA-camr learning so much from you.. possible video idea/podcast idea would be nice for someone like you the bowfather to put together a video about buying used equipment.. what to look for, what to avoid etc. keep up the sweet content love it and followed everywhere I can to not miss any 🤘🤘 from Ontario Canada brother !
Yes these videos are very helpful , Podium Archer is my go to chanel when i need infromation , thanks for all your effort … oh and the fireplace talkes with Tim are just as cool … Peace from Germany ✌ Tim
Great content Josh!! Any videos on tinkering, bow builds, new products and anything alike are what the majority of people like to see especially if they try to work on their own bows like i like to do. Keep em comin. Thanks
Good luck on your hunt. Love the content. I watch them all. I have to watch Elk Shape more to help my shoulder. I am soaking up the info. Thank you. Cant follow you on the Gram. I don't do social media. So this is were it all happens for me.
I really enjoyed this show it's such a pleasure to watch people who are gifted and on top of there game. I'm going to buy a lift bow from you God's Blessings on your Elk hunt please do a video of your hunt
This is a great idea and awesome video. Would have been cool to take us with you in the field and film you hunting with the bow you just built putting your elk down, but I know that's a big endeavor.
Awesome video. Would have loved to see more detail on shimming the top hat and which cam to shim to affect arrow flight in a particular manner. Thanks!
I definitely like the video. I learned a lot just from you talking and listening while you're talking about sites and just everything. But I love watching these ones learning stuff anytime I watch something from you. I love it. I always learn all right. Thanks man! Can't wait to see who wins. I don't remember if I filled out the paperwork right or not. I probably screwed myself
Thanks again mfjj for sharing your knowledge mate, I've learnt more via your content than I've learnt so far in 10 years of archery/bowhunting at home in Aus 🤙 Can I enter the give away from aus? I understand it's probably b an absolute mission but hey To be in the running for a mfjj built bow how can I not ask 😂 Cheers cobber
Nice to know even the experts have the same issues as I do😅😅😅 This is a great video, it depicts the issues we have to deal with. In like other videos just shows only the good shots. And I will finish with this, this was great content👌
I was excited to watch this particular bow build. I have dealt the Mathews top hats to. Mine being a VXR 28 and was drifting left also. Pissed around long enough to get something I could live with. I'm picky. Hoping for Mathews to improve with an updated press-less cam infinite adjustment system so I don't have to move my rest.
Of course you can, Josh! I rebuilt a dry-fired Bowtech RPM 360 with new cams, built new strings, set it up and tuned it in 4 hours. Sighting in is another story though; I don't have a range in my backyard. LOL
I do the same thing: Depending on tear and wheel lean, I move the one cam first. Causing the wheel lean to be the same, then shoot again. I rarely move my rest. PSE is nice for the super fine adjustments. Yoke tuning
Thank you for the video! I think the camera helped seeing the 29 inch..(currently shooting a haion 32) Thanks! (can’t wait to hear how the strings hold that sharp angle )
Enjoyed it. I know you do this for a living but it takes me quite a long time to refine my bow. I guess since I’m not shooting a bow as consistently everyday I get erratic after many shots and must come back to it later or tomorrow. Our shop is really good at getting it set up but I broadhead tune it and build my arrows. Good vid.
I had to leave my local bow dealer because he would never take the time to adjust that bow the way you did. He doesn’t paper tune or anything. He just puts everything on it and sends you on your way. I’ve learned to tune my bow and work on it myself. It sure would be nice to have a shop like yours around.
MFJJ!! Cool vid. FYI. For shims that aren't tubular like the Mathews, I cut out a small half circle near the end of a tongue depressor (popsicle stick). The stick will fit between the limb and the cam. Once in between the limb and cam, you can set the shim into the half moon cut out and then lower the depressor down in between cam and limb near the shaft hole. You can move the depressor around with the shim in the cutout without it falling to the floor. You can put two depressors together for the wider gaps between cam and limb. It's very easy to manipulate the fine movements to get the shaft through the shims without trying to hold it with your fingers and dropping it. it was an idea that came to mind, and it 100% made it easier and less time-consuming. 😊
This is a great video and could be used as a grate manufacturing training aid that people that do high-quality work put on time restraint to produce products could make mistakes that put poor quality products in the hands of consumers
Nice video. Cool to see you iron it all out and have realistic struggles with tiny changes. I bet you later wished you tied a slightly longer d-loop lol. Sucker was probably torquing the string
loved the video would like to see the same bow with fixed blade heads thx for taking the time to share it good luck with the elk hunt Merry Christmas...
Absolutely LOVE these videos… i just purchased a Lift and I’m so excited but idk which sight to get… MFJJ i need your help!! Mature Midwest Whitetails is the main!
Love the channel and your educated opinions that help the average bow hunter. Would/could you do a video of v-bar rear setup of the stabilizer? I feel like this is a relatively new concept, but rarely covered. There’s many opinions of hunting with/without quiver, different components, etc., and all effect the balance of your bow. What do you think?
Good video. Helps to see what tuning and time is necessary to BH tune. Maybe also shoot a fixed blade BH to see if that hits the spot as well after tuning.
I like it but LOL seeing i that i chose the RX 8 over the lift i like to see that if you could if not no biggie great videos you have taught me alot and i thank you for that
I have learned so much watching MfJJ, elk shape and Tim C! Thanks for your helpful vids
I work on all my bows myself and many of my friends bows, so yeah videos like these for sure help.

The podcast is the best around
Thanks for showing us your bow build! Enjoyed watching the process.
Great video MFJJ. I want to see a picture of the elk though. That would make a great video even better. Hope you got him
Thanks Josh! The timing of this video was perfect. Definitely appreciate the content and humor. Looking forward to the next.

Thank you for taking us through your setup and tuning process. I wish I had watched a few videos before spending so much time bare tuning. Thanks again

Always appreciate your knowledge on working on each bow thank you for your time and services 👍
great video, Can you guys do a QAD vs Hamskea video with Pro's/Con's of each system and what might be best for each brand of Bow?
Yes would, like to see that too. I am a qad guy
I liked this video a lot. I thought it might be corny at first but it didn't turn out that way. I continued to learn a lot from this video. Thumbs up!

Cool! I enjoyed watching you work on the build!
I really enjoyed the video! Like the tuning aspect of it!
This is a great idea and awesome video. Would have been cool to take us with you in the field and film you hunting with the bow you just built putting your elk down, but I know that's a big endeavor.
Sweet Josh! I liked it and keep doing them and keep up the great work!!

Nice! I do like the vid and format. Congrats on the elk while I'm at it.
Great format, thanks for sharing this. great stuff getting this completed in the time-frame.
Love the video like seeing you work on your own rig with a purpose from start to finish.
I definitely like the video. I learned a lot just from you talking and listening while you're talking about sites and just everything. Good times in the shop!!
Excellent content…
Thanks for the in-depth tuning process
I enjoy these videos but regardless I watch all of your content very educational
I've been shooting 2/1 pink white for about 20 years for the exact reason you mentioned.
Thanks!
I have faith this one will work.😊
I can’t wait to come across extra money so I can come out there and have you build me a bow Love your stuff🙏🏽🙏🏽

Another great video. Keep up the good work.

Nice to see a fellow AT guy out here in the wild. 💪

That's ridiculous and should be known so nobody goes there
I bought a title 36 and absolutely love how easy it is to be accurate
Great video love this style of video. Good luck hunting
Love these Vid’s!!! Keep them coming
I so much enjoy everything you make :) thx for that :)
I like this style format.
Glad I watched this, I thought the top hat system you had to change top and bottom. No wonder I’ve been chasing my tail on tuning😂
