Bowtech’s flagship aluminum hunting bows for 2024 are the Core SS and Core SR. The Core SS is the smoother drawing bow, while the SR is the speedster. Both feature Bowtech’s Time Lock timing adjustment system, Dead Lock cam adjustment system, Dead Lock pockets and the Grip Lock system which allows you to change the grip angle. They also feature a cutout in the riser four mounting sights into the riser.

Great video!!! I get bored easily and you kept my attention the entire time. 😆
Very nice! I’ll hold on to my SS34 and add the CoreSS.
Love the runing options on these.
Awesome!
Great video PJ, put some 12 buttons on that baby!!
Man it's a fun time of year to be an archer.
Nice
My Bowtech BTX31 I bought in 2016 has a timing adjustment. Idk why everyone is acting like this is something new
Will there be other sight manufacturers making sights, or is it limited to Black gold ? I hope others step up and make them too, just so we have some options !!
On the surface, or on paper, those are some impressive features - especially for those that'll DIY. And...I'll DIY just about anything, especially bows. 🙂 Any experience with string stretch, or wear? How about the timing adjustment feature?
Great video. I'm curious, would the Mathews bridge lock sights work here. Man a lot of screws, has any of this stuff ever vibrated loose?
No, they won't. There are some Black Gold sights that will fit these bows and that's it for now.
Mines has string serving separation on the cams after 20 shots :(
That performance setting dump at the end looks nasty, especially in that slow motion footage.
Sure does
I wish they had included adjustable draw stop so you can change the let off. They have it on the target bows and it is really nice.
I would have liked to see that too. But the average hunter will set it to max let off and call it a day
can you swap the cams out with the target bow cams?
Purchase a set of Lucky Stops draw stops. You can then customize draw length and letoff % by rotating the draw stop to different positions
@@tommywagoner7669 I got a set of those for my ss34. They're ok. Without a draw board it's kinda tough to get the stops in just the right spot
Where's a video on the Justice?
SS on performance vs SR on comfort 🤔
This is what hoyt needs
I wish they’d change the skeleton handle
Looks like a newer version of my 2009 Admiral
A shame there’s nothing new for the long draw guys 😢
How long of a draw you looking for? the SR goes up to 33" 😂..
Not sure of the draw length on these, but I’m sure you can get a killer deal on a SS34. I love mine, long draw archer as well.
The Sr only goes to 30 inch draw length, it’s axel to axel is 33 inch 😂
@@gilbertlongboat5081 yea i saw that later when i found one in store and tried to buy it but it was too short. The SS has the longer draw
What is the point of cam tuning? If I have paper tear, can't I just adjust the rest?
You never want to move the rest. The rest should always be at centershot. Move the cams
@@optimuscrime608 Yup, prefer to move the cam as a first resort....if you know you're dead set on centershot.
2024 bows coming out already Jeeze they move to fast it’s getting ridiculous
Question PJ, who is going to stand up for the customers that bought Bowtech bows with cams that chew cable servings because of burs and sharp angles? Could you talk about that? Bowtech puts crap strings on their bows and then tries to deny accountability. Are these cams the same design (looks similar but I'm not an engineer) that's going to eat cables like the SS34 and others?
I dumped my ss34 for that exact reason. The stock strings had 6 places the serving was unraveling! After market strings were no better.
Who cares if serving wears doesn’t stop bow from shooting well
@@jasonnester9514 until your cable gets shredded and the bow explodes! 🤣
@@jackbuendgen389 my serving isn’t wearing at all man no issues
@@jasonnester9514 then why are we having this conversation?! 🤣
The more moving parts you have the more they can go wrong
Or just keep buying the same Mathews every year since 2014 and pay another $1500 every year.... I'm glad Elite and Bowtech at least push technology, and not just influencers and old tech.
That's why with Mathews bow shops has to order thousands of $ in cams: they are the "unmoving parts" XD
Bowtech needs to just stop making bows… that thing is so loud 😂 and so many things to fail
Dude you probably shoot a mathews like everyone else, top hats are the worst system out there
@@sawyertward2655I’m not crapping on your comment but I am curious why do u feel too hats suck
I don’t own Matthews worse rlol
@@sawyertward2655I’m an Elite guy but I have to say that Mathew’s tophat system is one of the best there is. Once it’s swapped to the correct tophat you don’t have to touch it ever again. Very good system
Totally a joke😂 I’ve always been a mathews guy and I’ll be a mathews guy probably forever haha
@@sawyertward2655 oh hahahaahah I’ve own 2 mathews wasn’t disappointed in em I had the switchback and halon 6 they were good bows I ended up getting a prime and Bowtech only because I got the prime at cost and Bowtech gave me huge bet discount I can’t budget a new mathews but they make good stuff for sure
I might be switching to bow tech
