- In Part 10 of my Project Oliver 66 series, I adjust the governor to get it closer to what it should be, and mess around with the alternator plug-in and decal placement.

YOU HAVE A REALLY UNIQUE WAY OF COUNTING !
Yeah but I have a problem with anything over about 21 😁
Proper governor adjustment is key. Some Allis units adjust in a similar fashion. If the length is off on that link, throttle response is very erratic. Always good to see progress happening. Napa has new dirt ends like that, both halves actually. I saw that in a Ross video a couple years ago, don't remember which one. Guess this is the comment of many random thoughts?
By dirt ends, what are you referring to?
@@WisconsinOliverNut Man, I do not know how 'dirt' got in that sentence! Brass was the word I was going for. These devices like to 'help', yeah, they are a lot of help at times.... Anyway, Napa part no. 725147 for the brass, 725148 for a plastic cover, single. Pretty sure these would work for you but maybe not big enough for 10 gauge wire. I would send you a picture somehow but not sure how to get it to you.
@@MikeJensen-wo7oh thank you, I will check with Napa next time I'm in town
@@WisconsinOliverNut If you have ever seen any of my Allis plow videos you'll know that the state I inhabit most of the time is state of confusion! Hope those terminals work for you.
@@MikeJensen-wo7oh haha, I will check out your videos
Sorry, I looked at my tractors and the way you had them should be right. I would put the bottom support only on and push the steering column toward the bell housing until you have desired clearance. I think you will find the top support will end up overlapping your flywheel inspection plate just a little. That's a nice looking tractor.
It was worth a shot, thank you for the suggestion
