1) Springs (these SN95s are effing 4x4s in stock form!) 2) Sway bars 3) Strut tower brace 4) Caster/camber plates (personally, these are probably optional if you go with Eibach's sportline kit...1.5" of drop isn't going cause any significant camber issues).
Hey Justin, could you email me about a 4.6 DOHC swap in my 03 v6 mustang. Do you think its worth the time, money and effort? Amd if so id like to know what you'd recommend. Thanks
It would be cheaper to just buy a GT. Unless you have someone who can help you do it for free and they can help you than go for it but if not it's not really worth it. And if you ever do want to swap you might as well go big and swap in a 5.0
It took me about a week for the whole swap. If your body is nice I would say it's worth it. Plus the insurance is cheaper because you pay insurance based off the stock vin number. Just save your recipients and have your insurance company adjust your policy to cover any aftermarket parts you add on.
Yes. V6s & GTs have exactly the same suspension setup. The only difference is that GTs come stock with rear sway bars. The only SN95 with different suspension is the Cobra & Cobra R, which have independent rear suspensions.
Jesus Torres, whats going on my man? Feel free to check out our exhausts here that are built for your Mustang. (www.americanmuscle.com/9904-mustang-catback-exhaust.html#shop-by2) I have a few friends that run this exhaust on their 94' V6 and they absolutely love it (www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-dual-catted-9804v6.html) It sounds incredible and added some office performance to their Mustang as well! Let me know what you think! - Matt
Anything will sound good as long as you have an H-Pipe and not an X-Pipe setup. For my 02 I have the Pacesetter H-Pipe adapter kit along with the Flowmaster American Thunder catback exhaust and it sounds great. Some people have thought it was a V8 lol
Ford never claimed the Mustang as a sports car. It's the car enthusiasts that made the claim. Ford has put poor performance in the Mustang. In the early 90s, the thunderbird received a better 5.0l. The Lincoln mark 8 was equipped with a 4.6l dohc pushing around 300hp while the 5.0 was pushing 230hp. The mustang didn't get the 4.6l until 96, and only the corba got the dohc in early 2000 and the mach1 in 2003-04. But the base models mustang ang mustang gt have always lacked power and proformance. Some of the crown vics came with trans coolers that would make a nice add-on. So calling a stock mustang a sports car is a stretch.
My Eibach pro kit + brand new spring isolators from american Muscle didn't lower anything on my car, instead the car has now about 3" and 3/4 gap and looks horrible, fuck this company and those guys selling you parts on their website.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. TOTALLY AWSOME UPGRADES!!!! THESE UPGRADES WORK FOR ANY CAR OR TRUCK.
Doing something on the inside soon? Noticed the headlight knob was missing during the drive.

Are you going to have a contest to give this car away - I want it!!! 😀
If I was going to get all the parts for the suspension/handling build one by one, in what order would y'all recommend I install the parts?
