- Finally got to go dive a new island and Lanai did not disappoint! Took a quick break from failing at hunting and managed to scrape up an uku on a pretty deep drop with Thad, Ryker, and Aiden. I then took Aiden and Ryker out for a quick Freediving and spearfishing lesson. Had a blast diving new zones and can't thank these guys enough for showing me around their little slice of paradise. Thad made a video from the same day check it out on his channel below!

Ryan I just wanted to say thank you. I started a journey this year to turn my life around, lose weight, and pursue Freediving. I was 305 lbs January first, smoked, and partied a lot. I quit smoking, quit drinking, cleaned up my diet, and started working out 3-6 days a week. I would watch your videos and practice my apnea tables. You and Sam’s personalities were so motivating.
This week I did a zero to hero program in pursuit of Freediving instructor level 1 so I can follow in your footsteps and show this sport we love to the world.
Well all that hard work paid off, I lost 50 lbs, stayed off cigarettes, and passed my level 2 free diver course, achieved a 4:10 static apnea with plenty left in the tank (I was stopped for “safety” as I had already blew through the requirements) and most importantly I am now a level 1 Freediving instructor and a Mermaid instructor.
You and Sam please give each other a big hug for me, though you don’t know me you have really done a lot to change my life this year.
Here is to my next 2021 goal of another 40lbs lost and level 3 free diver/level 2 instructor

I got into diving/spear fishing recently like a year and your vids just brighten my day and after a vid I am trying to find another vid after of you diving and the tips are helpful
Glad I found this channel. Mahalo for teaching youngsters. We grow up being very respectful of the ocean. They need an example of someone who is comfortable in the ocean.
nice video, cool to se how you take time to teach the kids (and me haha) how to improve. also a good thing to teach kids when diving is to take the snorkel out of your mouth when diving down. It makes diveing just a bit safer if they ever do get a blackout. love to finaly see new videos again, keep it up :D

I'm really enjoying your chanel, thanks for posting. Well done with the young guns, passing it on. Deer hunting, I took my first buck on my first hunt with a rifle, too easy I said to myself. Decided to go full archery for more of a challenge.................five long, hard seasons later I got my first deer, a legal doe. Could have wallpapered a room with unfilled tags. After that the flood gates opened and I fill my tags every year. It takes time to learn what you don't know so you can learn how to fix it. Keep at it, it's great to watch your journey.
Loved watching you teach the young’ns. I do the same thing when I’m in Grenada in the summers. Those lessons last a lifetime! Awesome if you to take the time. I know it takes away from hunting time and it’s a sacrifice. Awesome of you to do it. Bless

I think the underwater portion of the video is in 60 FPS
@@RyanMyersExpeditions ah ok so you filmed it in 60 FPS but the upload is in 24. maybe that’s why the that part was a tiny bit different or not so smooth looking as the rest. But I think you can chose an option to upload it in 1080 60 no? Or isn’t that an option because of the other parts?
