- Two weeks of teaching the legendary treasure hunter Brandon Jordan how to spearfish out here in Hawaii. I had an absolute blast with Brandon while we crammed 10 years of spearfishing skills into two hardcore weeks. Brandon went from never having speared a fish deeper than 35 feet to hunting 70+ comfortable and diving to 100 feet consistently on the line. We even got him a true giant Hawaiian fish to cap off an epic trip. I can't thank Brandon enough for trusting me on this journey and can't wait to see what he spears now that he's back home in Florida.

This has got to be the most superior spearfishing video on all of UA-cam: the information, examples, videography, music, variety, Jordan's incredible progress and to cap it off with such a victory brought the whole thing home. It took a little longer to get this video out, I now understand why. Absolutely worth the time and effort. Great work!

Yeah going to the bottom changed the way I spearfish definitely. But, it’s really hard in cold water, in the shallows because you need so much weight. Relaxing on the bottom in deeper water feels a lot more relaxing for me.

Yup shallows are tough. I hate diving anything less than 35 feet because of exactly that.
As a spearfisher I always keep asking myself about what does it feel wearing a wetsuit because I can't afford one its too expensive.
So sick! Just got back from Kauai, you're 100% right, the water and fish smarts are way more advanced than SoCal/Baja. Jordan is assassin level now

Yo ryan i love ur videos. I got in a accident a year back and my ankle hasnt been the same since so im not able to dive like before. But watching these videos gives me the perspective that i miss and hope one day to experience again.

I miss Kona! I was raised on Napoopoo Rd. in the late 60's and 70's. I could tell you stories...LOL I have most of my family there but haven't been back for 2 years because of COVID. I used to body surf Napoopoo before Iniki made it rocky. Loved seeing the drone shot of Capt. Cook Monument and Kealakekua Bay! Love your vids! Nice to see your subscribers going up! Bang on!

Florida boy's having fun. Awesome video. And one guy i watch from the UK is an Australian by the name of Daniel manning. He's got a lot of great information videos on setting up your equipment. You may have seen him in World spearfishing competitions. So that would be my second favorite team up.
