Best fish to shoot while learning is roi. Perfect fish to get a feel for gun, equalizing, etc & you keeping the reef clean. I was always taught that no matter what you take from the aina whether its from the mauka or makai, do your part to keep the aina clean.
Great video!! you can also massage the tako with salt to get the slime off and I've noticed it works quicker, looks delicious and can't wait to see part 2 🤙
Dude, thank you! I am having to extend my trip here in Hawaii due to covid restrictions at home and I am wanting to be more sustainable! Thank you for this knowledge!
How much time in the cooker? Also, I think a DNA test is in order. Is he really your brother? He nailed that duck dive right away. That's the key to success. Well done guys.
That was fun! You're brother looks like he could be a natural. You just need to get him a pistol and practice shooting cans or something on land first! 😁
I just started freediving last year but I think you missed a few important things about freediving safety before getting them into spearfishing. - What about that snorkel staying in the mouth? You should have taught them to take it out of their mouth before diving down. - Your father's suit wasn't even closed properly. Any distraction can be an obstacle for a beginner when trying to equalize. - Also, they should not add more weight to have it easier to stay down. Buoyancy should be set to 10m always. If they can't dive deeper than 10m, they should work on that before getting into spearfishing. - Poking that poor octopus: Either you kill it to eat it (if it is allowed where you are) or you just look at it. Pulling it out there just so your students can see it is not good. Those were the most critical things that I saw in the video. And I'm not an instructor. You should really know and do better.
At the end of the day if you get lousy students that's because your a lousy teacher, you even gave up on your dad early. not a nice attitude as a teacher dude. what did you expect when they never dived before , must have patients man patients.
Props to your dad. He's ripped. Love dads, sons, nephews, and brothers that can keep up. Cheers.
I wish I had that kind of a dad bod! Lol
How come you became a hunter/freediver since ur dad never did those things? How you got this love for the ocean?

Push that cat off the table. No cat hair on the grubb 😂🤙🏽
I need to know how and when to equalize got a link
He's pounding the taco 😆
The fastest way to take off slime is by using salt or lemon/lime
do you really have to do that with a octopus to get the slimy stuff off?
That was fun! You're brother looks like he could be a natural. You just need to get him a pistol and practice shooting cans or something on land first! 😁
Can't find the part 2
Did anyone else ntice how the it says videos in progress is Giant Ulua
Did you actually have to dunk the Tako in the sink for an hour or was that just a joke.
Never done that or seen that before. Looked like a great stitch up though
It’s a thing
Usually done in a bucket...first time I seen someone pound taco in the sink..but it works..lol
Go to Heehoo Boys for some good content
I would love to train with you bro.
Sam! Your looking like a badasss right now! LOL 😂!
I think your brother kept missing fish was probably cause because he didn't keep his elbow locked
Hi

Your father looks like a cop 😂🤣😭
Those city boys understand nothing 🤣

The extra thin spam😂
