Terry Funk selling his eye is just like in the match with Edge and Foley at Mania. When watching that I legit thought he had ripped his eye. The way he completely changes how he speaks. Stupidly good performer.
The empty area was a match or just a brawl? Like in the old smack down games where you win my knockout? Because why wouldn’t a brawl have fighting outside of the ring? It would be weird if a non match did traditional wrestling lol

The TNA "Acceptable in the 80's" theme is a legit banger. With the GTA visuals, it's too perfect, big time pop from me.

I can't believe anyone watched those covid lockdown shows. That's a next level endurance feat.
One of my favorite tweets of that period was someone responding to a clip from Smackdown, when Brey Wyatt was cutting a promo on John Cena, and the tweet was something to the effect of “Smackdown has turned into group therapy.”
There was a certain absurdist theater quality to it. One announcer going HELL YEAH in response to Stone Cold trying to hype people for Wrestlemania.

28:30 I think you'll dig it @OSW , OOC's take is 100% on point, it is humorless to a fault (by design) & absolutely not for everyone, but it's also one of the best films of the last 25 years if you see it in the right mood & can appreciate it for what it is; Darren trying to make his "masterpiece"/live up to the artistic expectations of reqiuem's follow up (with a fraction of his initially promised budget), while telling a deeply personal story about grief & humans confronting their mortality
