Thank you for this wonderful episode! You are so calm and peaceful, I am at peace when I watch your videos 💕 I was wondering if you could overdye your Batty tee. Since you arent a fan of the color and you know how to dye yarn, why not try dying that beautiful sweater in a darker color that you love! It would be such a fun way to revive that lovely piece. Blessings to you!
Awe thank you so much! I am actually planning on dyeing that too soon, I’m thinking a dark green - I think I will like it more after that ☺️ Happy knitting 💕🧶💕
Your James N Watts blouse I think I'd try to find a ball of yarn that would combine with it to add length. Then I'd rip back to the underarm and put the 2 yarns together in a stripe even a cream would look better and you'd find it more wearable with it being longer.
Thanks for keeping me company while I undid my Italian bindoff! I didn’t realize you hadn’t been knitting for that long, your pieces are so beautiful and polished!
Such lovely knits! Wow you did a lot of test knits! The t-shirt you don’t care for the colour it’s in how about over dying it? Especially since you love it otherwise
Your projects look amazing, especially your Collette Tee. It has a nice drape and I really like the color. I really like your Tulip Sweater, Nanaimo Cardigan, and Pressed Flowers Shawl as well.
The rib and lace top - what if you rip back to the line where the color shifts (or farther) and try picking up with a different yarn color? I think a bold color block and a matching sleeve edge would look cool!
You’ve certainly knit some beautiful items during 2023. I can see why your latest test knit sweater has already become a favourite. The colour and fit are both perfect on you. My 2 most enjoyable knits of this year are both Natasja Hornby shawls; the Aster and Cirrus. For 2024 I want to concentrate on garment knitt in but I’m not committing myself to exactly what yet. Depends where the mood takes me.
Hi Karlie, Thank you for this podcast. Enjoyed the creativity of each of your items. I particularly like the press flower shawl as I have seen others who have used their hand spun to produce this pattern. 💡I have a variegated hand spun Merino which would work perfectly for the flowers. Happy New Year🫶🏿
Hi! Maybe you could layer a thin fitted top underneath your polo top? I'm not sure if you have COS in Canada, but I found some very thin, fine, 100% merino long sleeved tops there that I wear underneath my woolen tees. Beautiful works, very inspiring!! ❤
Hi Karlie I wanted to join your give away which I have never done before not sure if I am even doing this right. Anyway I really enjoy your podcasts and that last short sleeve sweater you made looked familiar and that’s because I finished the same pattern two weeks ago. I love the natural tones of your hand died mini skeins. I would use them in socks and color work hat or sweater not sure just yet. Anyway I’m not good at the tech side of things. I don’t use face book or instagram. I do have email. Well really wanted to try reaching out and let you know I like your relaxing style and the sewing projects too. Thank you for sharing Mary J
Hi Mary! Thanks so much! Thats cool you just finished the same sweater! To enter the giveaway you will just have to add this comment to the comment section of the latest episode (episode 36) that way your comment will be included in the draw ☺️❤️🧶
Super nice year end wrap up, thanks for taking the time to make the video 😊 a goal video for next year would be fun ! For me, I haven’t been able to knit that much this year but have really enjoyed learning new skills and techniques especially around garment shaping.
I really loved all of your sweaters 😍. Thank you 😊 very inspirational...I think I am going to make some like yours...in the same colours maybe...😊...or similar because here in Lisbon I may not find the exact yarn.... have a great year ❤❤❤❤❤
My first time watching and I’m hooked. I love your candid commentary around each garment you’ve knitted. I made the Lily lace top with the longer sleeve version, out of a thrifted linen blend sweater . Surprisingly easy for a first lace project. In this case, a pure linen knits up so much better than cotton. I’ve seen the designer in person who showed Lily in both cotton and linen. You have a great style sense. PS. Please keep the photo of your garment up while you talk about it.
I love your Collet tee, the color and the construction! I think I’ll knit one for spring. I love your Vine tee too, it’s in my favorites and I want to knit it too. You would knit so many of your knits again! But there are so many new patterns right? I want to knit another ranunculus but maybe the tulip sweater as you did ;) Btw I knit a rib bralette and I recommend that one as well if you like knitting intimate clothings :)
@@karliepaige8269 I can’t believe Collett tee was your first raglan and short row project because it looks like you’ve knitted so many nice garments already 😊Raglan construction is much easier than drop shoulder or other constructions, in my opinion 😉
You've knitted some gorgeous pieces this year. I'm amazed how many you did!! I knit Continental, but it's so hard to find pattern books that I can understand/decipher. Any suggestions? I live in TX, the USA.
this was a good video! what would make it even better is if it was a bit more organized like if you kept track of all the yarns you used instead of "just comment if you'd like to know", it makes it much easier to follow if you provide all the information. other than that I liked the video, keep it up!
Thanks! I would like to do that, but as you can imagine it can take a very long time to get organized for long videos like this, and I do the best I can given how i am feeling that day ☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Two comments-one positive, one negative. The positive: I loved your knits. The negative: I wish you would do your homework and write down the names of patterns, designers, and yarns so that you’ll be ready to discuss them without all that “Ummmm… I’ll put it in the notes below heh-heh” stuff. I understand that you can’t keep it all in your head, but that’s what pencils are for. The lack of prep is sloppy and insulting to the designers. (Btw, I fully realize that you’re not the only podcaster who neglects the prep.)
Liz, thanks for your feedback, I suggest you stop watching my FREE content, as it sounds like this is bothering you enough for you to post such a rude comment. Take care
You are a very prolific knitter, bravo!
You are a beautiful knitter. Everything looks so professional. I love all your knits. Don't stop! From Bernadette
Awe thank you so much! 💕🧶💕
Hi from Vancouver Island! I love your pattern choices and am going to try to knit a few of these, hopefully for summer😊
Hello!! Thank you!!! Happy knitting 🧶💕🧶

That’s so exciting! It’s such a rewarding craft to get into, good luck with your projects and I hope you are enjoying the process! 🧶☺️🧶
So many pretty knits, and they all look great on you.

IMO the James N Watts tank looked great.
Loved seeing and hearing about your knit projects. Of course, i added a couple to my Ravelry Queue. Thank you and Happy New Year. 😊

Enjoyed the review as I worked on my Knitmas KAL2023. You really accomplished so much and advanced your skills!! Way to go!!!

All of your pieces are absolutely stunning, so inspirational, I think I saved about all of your projects in my ravelry favorites!😄🥰
What yarn did you use for the front porch pullover? It doesn't say in the project page yet and I love that blue! Thanks!
I used drops flora in misty forest and the mohair is handmaiden fine yarn in stardust! 💕🧶💕

Don't forget to bring your laptop and I have no idea how to do that every day and then he said that you need help.
