Wow! You sure didn’t skimp on the hours you devoted to this vlog; I can’t imagine how long you were pulling everything together! My fave piece was the Holey Moley cardigan/jacket. I was thinking that it would be really pretty in a subtly tonal sage green. I think I’d you used a variegated, speckled, or tweed yarn you would lose the pattern in the fabric, but a solid, subtly tonal, or ombré yarn would be beautiful.
WOW am I so happy I clicked on this video! I saved what feels like almost everything?! The William & Busan sweaters, the Stegning and Scallop jackets, the Augusta & Holey Moley sweaters, the Dressilicious and Cocoon dresses, the Wildflowers & Honeycomb socks AND the Lovely Ribbed Scarf and Entwine scarf ok that was a lot of work for me to write all those out so I can't believe the amount of work YOU put into this video! Perfect fall knitting inspiration I need 1000 more hands
GM I love that colour on the ranunculus looks gorgeous on you !!! All these sweaters etc you are showing gives so many ideas wow Thank you fir sharing with us 😊💝🇨🇦
I just finished a pair of fall self striping colored Sari Nordlund midnight dancer socks to wear with my doc martens. Love all the inspiration! I’m also being drawn to the romantic style lately too!
Hi there. If you enjoy the Sézane cardigan you should check out Atelier Emilie she has beautiful romantic patterns but her Camée cardigan is almost an exact match 😊
I’m thrilled I found your podcast today! Your video was beautifully done, so very thorough, and I loved how you shared the pictures for a long time so we can get an idea of the patterns. I’m putting the Augusta sweater in my favorites. I’m looking forward to your next podcast! Dana
Another good pattern for the textured jacket/cardigan category is the velvety cardigan by gregoria fibres! It definitely fits the vibe :) I loved this video!! Thanks for the inspiration:))
I am working on the Setasuri Maxi Dress from Lana Grossa the last couple of months. Also a ripped version but with a flared skirt. Hope I will be finished for Christmas 🎅🏻
First time catching you. Very good video, you put together a lot ideas and presented them well, even the plug for the jewelry went nicely with the whole concept of this video. This video shows everyone that Knits we make can also be fashionable in the “real” world!
Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this video. I really appreciate that you’ve included patterns be designs from such a variety of designers, as much as I love the patterns that are super popular at the moment, I am slightly sick of seeing them everywhere hahaha I appreciate you adding sizes as well, though I was wondering if it would work better to use chest/bust circumference instead of sizes as all the designers seem to use different systems so it’s hard to tell what size range they actually have. Absolutely amazing video though so thorough and you have a really calming voice/presence ❤
I’m so happy you appreciate it because it took a lot of time to make! I sure enjoyed putting it all together though ☺️ using chest/bust circumference is an excellent idea because I agree, it’s not consistent designer to designer. I will certainly do that next time, thank you!
Ok, the sweater you're wearing is actually where I'm pulling inspiration apparently haha. I have leftover mohair from making my Darjeeling Cardigan (which I lengthened into a duster) and wasn't sure what to do with it. I LOVE the one stranded Ranunculus!! Also of course love this video and all your videos
Thanks Anna, love all your choices, and categories ! Thanks so much for all your effort, great video! I have favourited several patterns! Cocoon dress, was one I was looking for, love that style, saw it in a kids dress by Sandes Garn spring lookbook, and wanted in adult.
I love your inspirations! I actually have a top in my wips which matches the eyelet trend, it is Shore Tee by Anne Ventzel. I'm doing it with cotton yarn held together with a 100% lace cashmere and it's going to be wonderfull pre-fall garment :) I also have Sari Nordlunds ruffle socks in my library and I just need to do them! From your inspirations I would propably take the Dressilicious dress, this shaping is just amazing!
Hello. Really enjoyed this video and it has given me lots of food for thought this autumn. Just a note, the Wider sweater is knitted flat and seamed, not in the round. It’s worth it though. I knitted one earlier this year and really love it. Best, Laura.
Happy autumn! 🍂 Really enjoyed this video, your takes on fashion are super interesting and it really shows that you have a background in the industry. And the patterns you highlighted were such nice variation too, I'm someone who personally doesn't enjoy super minimalistic styles so seeing the same few Petiteknit and YFTK patterns in every video gets old a bit fast.
Hey. You make me feel really trendy. I am just knitting the forest berry dress by fable knits. But I have patterns for the other trends lined up. Just not enough time to make them all. Have a lovely day
Really enjoyed your roundup and all the graphics you put together for it! As I was watching I was working on the Paris Cardigan by Knits from Oslo which definitely fits into a romantic vibe - it has a lace yoke and a ruffle and is also one of my dream knits since I started knitting again a few years ago 😊
Hi! Im craving texture this fall! I love the Maras jacket. I just started Vespertine by Lindsey Fowler and want to make Rues de Paris Sweater by Alma Bali & Honeydew by Justyna Lorkowska & so many others! ☺️
Ohhh the Vespertine! I want to make that one too it’s so beautiful. I’m guessing you also get the Laine magazines 🥰 I just went through all of them and got so inspired!
Thank you for your recommendations. Regarding the Ranunculus. Can you explain the pattern sizing. As only listed as 1,2,3,4 etc. No bust sizing. And I want to check my yarn stock before committing to purchase the pattern.
My guess is the top is knitted flat and then you join in the round at the bottom. As opposed knitting the entire sweater in the round or the entire piece flat and seam every bit together
Great video, I apprecieated the size ranges but it would be more helpful to display the ranges in chest measurement instead of size numbers. Each designers size 1 is going to be different so just saying 1-x is not as helpful as giving finished garment measurements.
Love it. Please can we have one of these every season, or at least every autumn! 😍😍🧶
I would love to make more! 😃
Amazing amount of information to digest…love your style.❤️🇨🇦
Your background music matches your new romantic style perfectly💞!!
Haha thank you for noticing I planned that ☺️
I see a jumper, I become excited, I see the words DK and I run.
Haha 😂 is DK too thick, or too thin??
Too thin :') @@brookwillow

I like your research very much. Thank you.

Aww thank you!! 🥰 it felt so good putting a long sleeve sweater back on!
I watch a lot of ‘trends’ videos and I think yours was excellent! i love the tie in from the commercial items!!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it 😃
Love your choices, and especially glad you’ve got some options that aren’t drop shoulder! You’ve got great tastes, happy to cheat off your list 🙃
Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it ☺️
This was very intersting video, I feel big effort in this:) Thank you! I got a lot of insparation, and ides.

Woah, that top you have on is literally stunning on you…WOW! 😍 great podcast!
Thank you!! 🥰
I’ve been thinking about the chestnut dress! I think I would get a lot of use out of it, but I’m not ready to commit
Ahh i hear ya!! It’s a big commitment. But would be so beautiful 😉
Definitely knit the Augusta! It’s my most loved knits. It looks gorgeous over dresses in summer and transitions perfectly to cooler seasons
You put so much work into inspiring us, Ahna! Thank you! I feel so excited by the patterns you selected. Can't wait to see your fall projects.
Thank you so much!! I have a lot of fun doing it 🥰
Ahna! I am so sorry that I called you Brook! I realized it after I sent the message. Both names are beautiful. ❤ @@brookwillow

I’m glad you liked it! 😃
Great video idea, and really well executed. So visually pleasing to watch. I do love eyelet myself! Thank you, Anna.
Thank you so much! 😃 it was fun to make. I’m glad you liked it!
Love the Chestnut Dress, Cocoon Dress, Holey Moley Sweater, and Scallop Jacket.
They’re great patterns! 😃
Your video is new to me and I love the format of matching the Ravelry patterns with current trends. I think I'll give Jarod Flood's scarf a try.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I hope to do more in the future 😊

What a fantastic episode, Ahna! I'm mad for the cable sweaters!! Oh, and what a fabulous Ranunculus, loving the color.😍🤩
Thank you!! I’m also really feeling the cables this season 🥰
Thanks for putting this together! Wonderful inspiration :)

Would love to knit nearly all of them, but the cocoon dress is high on my list. Thanks for all the beautiful suggestions.
My pleasure! 😃 if only there was more time in the world for knitting!!
Very well done presentation of inspirational Fall knits. Thank you for putting this together. 😊

Thank you!! I’m excited too. Happy fall knitting! 🍁
love this video and i also love the knit your wearing😍 Anyone know what the pattern is?💕
Thank you! It’s the Ranunculus by Midori Hirose ☺️
This is a great video and I've already queued many of these patterns! May I ask what size needle you knit the ranunculus that you're wearing on?
I used the recommended 6mm/US10 ☺️
Thank you for your recommendations. Regarding the Ranunculus. Can you explain the pattern sizing. As only listed as 1,2,3,4 etc. No bust sizing. And I want to check my yarn stock before committing to purchase the pattern.
I just checked the pattern I have for it and it looks like the finished bust size ranges from 117cm to 180cm. I Hope that helps! 😃
What color yarn is your Ranunculus? That is so special!!!
It’s the Rust colorway from Knitting for Olive 😊
The Busan sweater is Gepard garn Woolia - just incase noone else has mentioned error 😁
Oh shoot!! Good catch 😉
Would You Consider Knitting a Red Cable Knit Turtleneck Sweater!?

I have problems with the first rounds😢
Oh I don’t think I know what you mean 😟
Laine is French, meaning “wool” and pronounced “lenn.” (Not lyna)
Thank you so much for the clarification 😅
xXX👍👍👍
I’ve heard this designer pronounced egg-yo knit.
Oooh good to know. Thank you!! 😃
Hairy sweaters? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hehe ☺️
You are obviously too beige for me. Sorry, good luck.
