Hey Shannon - well despite all the naysayers, I thought that your description of sorting out the whole “All Scores” etc and how to import bulk PDF’s was the clearest I’ve seen to date - even though you were doing a bit of “to and furling” there at one stage - but I tolerated that because it actually demonstrated the mistakes one can make during the path of trying to achieve one’s goal. I have a big gig coming up - I’m a drummer ‘down under’ in Sydney, Australia - and I have around 50 hand written drum charts that I now need to scan as individual PDF’s and then import those into ForScore. Before seeing you tutorial I was using GoodNotes to write up my charts and those multiple charts were actually in one “session” and therefore I was only exporting that as one PDF but not the individual charts as PDF’s. Your tutorial indirectly made this clear to me. So ….thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.
Thanks for this tutorial! I was wondering if there's a way to auto organize when importing these batches of scores? Similar to you, I play with lots of different bands. I'd like to download into a particular folder. Should I just use the separate libraries for every band I play with? Or can you auto asign setlists/labels when importing? Thanks!
P...L....E....A.....S....E......re-do this tutorial without all the back and forth searching from one thing to another that had nothing to do with where it started. We need a straight- forward, step-by-step, organized tutorial on how to import All Scores in the Library (for example from forScore on one iPad to forScore on another, Or, all scores from a computer, to forScore library on an iPad). There are hundreds of us, maybe thousands, who would love to have our full piano score libraries on two iPads! Thank you SO much.......we’re all eagerly waiting if you can possibly figure this out!
Hi there, can you please help me figure out how to transfer my song sheets from PAGES, into FORSCORE. I basically just made my own song sheets with lyrics and adding chords over the lyrics. I've made about 300 songs this way. Just got FORSCORE on my macbook and I can't figure out how to do this.
@@shannongunn3150 Is there anyway to make multiple PDFs at once from PAGES on a Macbook? I have over 300 to upload into FORSCORE and I can seem to figure it out so I don't have to do one by one.
I'm new to Forscore. I'm a drum set/percussion teacher with no PDF's to load. Probably an easy question, where I can access PDF's I'd gladly pay for them and thanks for the video!
Shannon, I really Appreciate your tutorial! I got a new iPad for Xmas, and just downloaded forScore. I been using a huge binder of music for years, and want to upgrade and be tech savvy. How did you learn how to do this? I started searching for UA-cam vids, and found yours that explains everything so clearly and well! I will try your technique. Do you have any tips or resources on how to learn and get really good in knowing how to navigate forScore? I look forward to more of your videos! Bless You 😊
Too much flip flop trying to explain something simple but making it complicated to understand. If you re-edit this, you may extra c the real essence and explain better your intended tutorial
I agree with Chris Dei's message. Slow down and cut out some steps. With all the steps you show it probably will take us longer than it took you to explain the situation. BTW the word is LI BRARY not Li Berry.
Thanks Shannon for the tip! Enjoying watching your UA-cam video of your original tune 'Nature'. Well done! Be blessed! 🙏🏻🙌🏻🎶

Hi Shannon, I have a three pages sheet music song. how can i import the three pages and make it as one song thank you
You can import the three pages and then create a playlist so they go in order. How you import is dependent on where the music is set up.
I have a simple question... Is ForScore able to convert a pdf chart into a midi file...?
Is it possible to keep the files stored in the cloud instead of on my iPad?

Try exporting each song as a pdf. Save them to a folder in the cloud, like dropbox. Then you can import them using this tutorial.

@@shannongunn3150 by the way thank you for replying, really helped a lot!!!

Thank you! I had to learn everything on my own but am happy to share with others. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I have some other videos on my channel, I will make a playlist
Cool Shannon!
Brilliant - thank you!
Thanks for the vid!
You were jumping around and I lost your directions
I tried to make it clear! Perhaps put it in 1/2 speed on YT

Sorry this is for Forscore

First criticism is fine but correcting how she is saying stuff is so damn rude … its her accent dummy
Great tutorial. Clear. Is this better than iGigBook?
Sorry, but this is the most disorganized video tutorial I think I have ever seen!
Useless
