Thanks… but you did not cover the most important scenario for importing PDF to IPAD forscore … I have 500 PDF files of music in my “PC”. What is the best way to import into IPAD? Can I connect my PC to IPAD with wire and import? Then from there I add to Forscore app
What might be nice is if they could incorporate some kind of correction into the software when scanning. i.e. it recognises that those staves shouldn't be wavy and straightens stuff out. Not sure how difficult that would be to implement. The trouble is that I've had to take two books to a paper shop and get them to cut the spine off the books and cut them down to A4 so that I could scan them in. Pain in the backside.
@@SingwithCinderella Thanks for the reply :) I was surprised that there weren't many reviews of cases that would be suitable for the ipad pro too. Well, they review it, but don't go into detail if the case will allow the ipad to sit on a piano sheet holder. Just looking at this Zugu case which looks built like a tank, but I guess if it doesn't work, then I can always return it? :\
I have 2 IPad pros. One is used for ForScore, the second is used for Cue which allows me to have dual pages. I’m suddenly afte😂r 2 years having trouble with the Cue part which just shuts off shortly after connecting. Does anyone know it this is a software problem or what would be causing it?
Hi! I just bought forScore and have 2 questions. 1) do you know how to change the sound of the piano tool? I know it can be changed because I did it 2x somehow accidentally but I cannot find the way! And 2) can you notate music from scratch on Forescore? Thank you so much!
Its just annoying that it doesnt allow importing from other apps such as acrobat or notes and it has become hair raising experience for me to do it from iphone ir ipad files
I totally get that! I’m pleased that they have opened up integrations with Musicnotes.com, noteflight, and other programs. Hopefully they will continue to expand. You can import a document from the notes app by clicking on “open in ForScore” but it already has to be a document.
Hal Leonard has a lot of great collections of popular songs that you can purchase directly from their website or on Amazon! Make sure it says “beginner piano” in the top right corner! Awesome that you’re developing your keyboard skills, best of luck!
Hi Cinderella, I am a musician/ gigger and I am just now wanting to finally transfer all my 8 1/2 × 11 word doc music sheets I created with lyrics and cords from my created music book of sheets songs. My songs are literally lyrics and chords. Will this app work for me? Can I use a Samsung Tablet?
Hi Mel! Awesome to start to transfer those over to digital reading. This app is specifically for iOS (apple devices). You can look at other apps that would go with your device and download the google docs as PDFs to import them! Best of luck in your gigging!
ForScore is great for sheet music, but a great app for charts is OnSong. You can scan and import, or you can build the chart yourself by typing it in, including chords, which gives you the capability to transpose. All this work can be done on a laptop or desktop in the app, and it links to your other devices. OnSong can also be linked via bluetooth to other tablets in your band, and to a page turning pedal.
Hi Cindi, yes you can do that! When you're on the piece of music tap utilities (suitcase in top right), then rearrange. From there you can flip pages, delete, reorder, and add! Hope this helps!
Thank you for the informative video. I have scanned a bunch of paper sheet music to ForScore, but have found some of the pages are in landscape view rather than in portrait. I was sure I had saved them in portrait so not sure what went wrong there. Now I only get half pages which means more page flipping. Do you know how to fix it to put them into portrait view once they have already been saved? I couldn’t see anything in the tools. Thank you in advance!
Hi Theresa, thanks for watching, I'm glad it was helpful! Yes, you can edit the orientation! Go to the utilities suitcase icon in the top right hand corner, select "rearrange", then at the bottom of every page you will see a few different icons - choose the circular arrow and tap it for how many times you need until it's the right orientation! Best of luck!
So If you use the scan or camera button to put the music into your forescore, will it always stay in there? Do you have to do a back up? and if so, will it also back up then ones you did via camera?
Thanks for watching! Yes, the sheet music that you scan in the app will always live in the app. All of the files automatically back up on your iPad, including the ones you scanned. You can find all of your music from the app by going to files > on my iPad > ForScore. Depending on your iCloud settings, all of those files can also be backed up to the cloud. Hope this helps!

4 min in and you finally start with the topic you named in the title.
Helpful video! Very likely going to purchase this app to help with my live music! Thanks for uploading!
Glad it was helpful! Happy music making!

Then from there I add to Forscore app
Use an apple camera adapter to usb to get it into the ipad.
Thanks, very clear and concise. I couldn't figure this out for myself, and you cleared everything up for me. Big thumbs up!
Glad it helped! Happy practicing!
Incredible! So much talent in one video!

I completely understand and hear you on that! It would be awesome to have that feature, I agree. Maybe it'll be an update in the future!

Wow! This is amazing!!! It makes things easy and friendly to use!👍👍
Can you import from sites like Chordie or Ultimate Guitar

How can I import a score from kindle to ForScore? I tried and tried... 😢
Is there a way on Forscore to see in which setlist a particular song is?
No there isn’t! But that would be a cool feature! You CAN see what larger file you’re looking at if you’re on a book mark.
I have a bunch of screenshots of sheet music in my iPad's photo gallery
Does anybody know how I can import those screenshots to Forscore?
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes! You can import those screenshots from your camera roll! At 4:10 I go through the process. Hope it helps!
Im trying everything you are doing, but I dont see any of the things that you say to push or chose. ?????
Does it download from Tomplay?
I don't believe it currently integrates with Tomplay! But they are always making updates, so maybe in the future it will.
I'm a new keyboard player...can you suggest where to purchase music that shows the lyrics and beginner notes for keyboard for popular R & B songs?
Hal Leonard has a lot of great collections of popular songs that you can purchase directly from their website or on Amazon! Make sure it says “beginner piano” in the top right corner! Awesome that you’re developing your keyboard skills, best of luck!

Thank you!
Thank YOU for watching!
In scanning, I received a max pages allowed (after about 25 pages) error. Is that new to Forscore. Didn't have trouble before in previous versions.
You can scan them separately and then put them together!
How do edit a scanned song once it’s been saved? I can’t get back in to retake a page and move pages around.

Since they had updated the app they sure either reduced its usefulness or cut out options to import. It no longer works well.
I love you

UA-cam has a setting for playback speed. Easy to change, cutting it down too .75 speed might work just fine for you.
