  • Recently, the Gear Shift Knob of my 2003 Honda Accord broke suddenly.
Since I have replaced it before (about 2 years ago), I still have a spare knob...
This is how I replaced the knob and got my car back on track.
This is hoping this video will help someone n need.

I like it....especially the music. Good job! Usually, I am nervous about repairing my car learning from a UA-cam video. Something usually goes wrong! I think your calming and relaxing piano music actually calmed me down enough to complete the repair without any problems. Now if I was listening to heavy metal, rap, or some kind of head banger crap I would have F**ked something up. Thanks!

Useful video! The internal part of the knob was shattered so had to remove the two screws that holds the gear shift. Pulled out the gear shift and all the broken pieces fell out as well making it easy to install the new knob.

I didn’t see it go into park. Mine did that but wouldn’t move beyond Reverse. I had to shave the end off so the channel was open. The previous one was modified too. Not sure who did that one.
