I used to have one in my 88 jeep Cherokee in high school. I used an old 8 ball I brought to Montana from dad’s house back in Texas and I just drilled a hole and threaded the ball itself without using a nut and it was pretty solid and no issues. I still have the 8 ball too. It’s back in Texas. Put it on a super old 4 speed dodge power wagon.
I was just thinking about a 8 ball shift knob, using some old pool balls I have. I mostly came here just to see what to do for drilling. Great video!!
