Honda Accord 2003 to 2012 Shifter Knob FIX

Thank you for this video. While I replaced the parts with new stuff, it works but sometimes it would stick causing us to wrestle with it shaking around until it would go into gear. I have a solution if anyone is having this issue. Since a garage fixed it, they stared naming other stuff. So, I simply removed the handle and pulled out the metal spring, and the plastic insert turning it over I dropped a few drops of gun oil into it and around the metal shifter and the plastic insert. Next, I dropped a couple of drops into the side release button. After I reassembled it, I couldn't believe it. It turned the shifting issue to a nonexciting one it worked so smooth, and I was elated. My wife was all smiles. It really did work like a brand new one

Excellent video brother, I replaced mine and I can switch gears however I can't put it in park it seems like there's something keeping it from going into park, Could it be the shift solenoid?

That shift selnoid it could be brake switch issue I would check and redue the shifter I had one customer who had the spring stuck wrong spot
