More secret paths in MH3U maps.
In the Deserted Island map. In camp, jump in the water close to the fishing spot swim through the tunnel, and you'll end up in Area 9.
Flooded Forest. In camp, jump into water swim to back of the zone through the tunnel and you'll end up in either area 6 or 5 if I recall correctly.
Misty Peaks. Jump off the vine bridge in Area 3 and end up in Area 7
That latter half of the Lagi fight was a certified Normal Lvl 1 moment.
I can see Cha-Cha is living up to his reputation as the best companion in the series. I seriously miss him and Kayamba so much. And of course, what gunner says no to the Wroggi helmet? It’s too perfect.
There are actually two more zones to the Tundra map, but they are completely inaccessible.
There are only three monsters that can open the path to those areas from zone 1, but only when they're weak.
One of the zones is pretty gruesome looking.
Perfect timing. Needed a Monster Hunter Supplement to fuel my hunting needs. Lets get em, Babes.
One tip: you can unsheathe and load your bowgun by holding the shoulder button and pressing the two attack buttons at once. Works with very other weapon as well!
Kinda funny that you choose 3U to go bowgun, while Tri as the intricate and unique DIY gun system.
Oh and the heavy bg has a turret mode, somewhere.
Don't know if no one told you this yet, but by crouching down before carving or collecting materials, you can save a lot of time at spots where you collect multiple times, because your hunter does not stand up at the end of the animation. I've seen all the previous Monster Hunter parts but you never do that, just thought i'd tell you.

this amazing lp has inspired me to use LBG in GU and Adept LBG is the most incredible thing i've experienced since GS Shoulder Check in World.
I don't know if anyone yet told you this. Eventually when you switch to normal ammo as your main focus (aside from elemental), you will want to prioritize normal 2 rather than normal 3. They are different shots, and normal 3 usually does less damage unless you can hit the mosnter with the 2nd hit that comes from the shot (which most likely won't happen often)

seeing how easy this lagi was, I cant wait to see you get your assbutt handed to you by his land variant. especially the dengeki event version. def check out some of the event quests if you can! they got some cool weps and fun content.

also gun recoil does not affect rapid fire. so get the powerbarrel over silencer when you use rapid fire lbg.
Ps: dont ever use normal lv1 unless you're out of ammo. this was spainful

Can you try monster hunter frontier? Also it’s the hardest monster hunter game in the series cuz I heard some monsters can have more then 500K hp like howling zinogre or any of the zenith monsters
