Hi all. I'm learning about computers [I haven't paid any attention to them for years since high school , graduated in Y2K] now I'm a sahm with no job and trying to break into leaving code and my current laptop screen turns black whenever I move the mouse. Totally irritating. my class starts in two weeks.... I'm trying to learn what I can during that two weeks. So I have to go to stay up for two hours after my husband and tot go to sleep to study and skip my regular nap time or wake up earlier. Here's the question: would learning code on this mini PC work? Could I hook it up to a regular TV monitor, I happen to have a tv that's really small. Or hook it up to my laptop? Or an ipad? Any advice on all of this is greatly appreciated at I'm just getting started and really lost on what to do until class starts. 😅
Hi. I have a desktop that is aging and according to notifications I have received from Microsoft… will not accept win11. There are mini/micro desktops that look like a good deal to me, but not enough ports so I do have a dock in mind to cover my needs. I believe I should be able to transfer my data from the desktop hard drive to my external drive which is on a USB universal drive port. Does this sound right to you?
This "portable gaming setup" of yours doesn't really make any sense at all, it would have if that pc was capable of using desktop components and also have a gpu, too bad that that cpu is used on laptops and you can't fit a gpu with a proper cooling system. So, that setup is straight up useless, a laptop would just be 10 times better, both in performance and portability. If u really want a portable gaming setup with the performance of a desktop, you should eitherway do some DIY with a micro itx build or you should get a minis forum B550, it's a mini pc, a little bigger than the one in the video, but it uses a "desktop cpu" (5700G), it mainly runs on the igpu of the cpu, but it has a pcie port this way you can also use any gpu you want

Why get an Intel NUC clone like this? When they don’t even save you very much, if at all. Intel NUC is an amazing little computer IME. And it’s even amazingly quite (EMI/RFI) electrically. There’s a darn good reason why Grimm Audio use an Intel NUC as the heart of it’s $12,500 US TOTL streamer/digital music source. And it’s because it’s so quite right out of the box. Because it’s simply well engineered, and well built. I use one as the source in my $7k HiFi system as the source. It beats every other streamer I’ve tried, including one that retails for $1000. And you can buy the exact one I have (11th gen i3) for under $600 right now. And I don't know about that one. But my NUC has 2 Thunderbolt 4 inputs. Which means yes you can hook up an external video card and game with it. They’re also known to last. Look on EBay right now. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of old ones for sale (they've been around for about a decade I think). These knockoffs are known to fail way too early from what I’ve read on the internet. And I mean from other people that have owned them. Anyway. It’s just a thought. Have a great day everyone. ✌️
